>.<++ "...but I don't WANNA wear an icky dress!!" a small girl pouted, getting an exasperated sigh from the man crouched in front of her. The little girl was wearing a light blue dress, with white frills along the collar, skirt and puffy sleaves. Her brown hair, normally tied back into a ponytail, was now down around her shoulders, two small bows clipped into place on both sides of her head. She half-glared at her father with her dark green eyes, who sighed and pleaded back with his own matching green eyes. He was wearing a Dark Blue tuxedo with a tiny white trim along the front, with white shoes and undershirt, a matching blue bowtie tied around his neck. His normally ragged looking blond hair had been slicked back to make it seem less wild.
ó.ò "Come on sweetness... don't you wanna look pretty for Mr. Daniel and Ms. Kyra's wedding?" her father, Jonas Kilmett, asked her.
>.< "NO."
She crossed her arms, staring out her bedroom window annoyed, adding: "Why can't I just wear my pants and shirt? v.v"
>.> "Well, this is a wedding Gina, it's a very special day for Mr. Daniel and Ms. Kyra." Jonas tried to explain to his daughter, "It's part of showing how important this is... we dress special because it is a special day."
"But if we already know it's special... why do we have to do it?" Gina asked, her father rubbing at his forehead in mild irritation. Unable to think of a logical explanation that would satisfy Gina's curiousity, he decided to resort to his backup plan, one he seemed to rely on quite frequently.
-_-;; "...why don't you ask mommy about it later, Ok?" Jonas asked, his daughter letting out a tiny sigh as she nodded in response. He finished adjusting the dress, shifting back a bit and smiling at his daughter.
^-^ "Awww... if it isn't the prettiest flower girl in all of Doma." he said smiling, as Gina started to blush through her pout. At the mentioning of the words 'flower girl' though, her eyes lit up a bit, a tiny smile forming on her face again.
"Oh yeah! That's when Ayra and I get to throw stuff at people, right?! ^_^" Gina asked with enthusiasm, as her father's face faltered a bit.
"Uh... no sweetness, you don't throw flowers AT people, you drop their petals on the ground for the ceremony." he explained to her.
o.o? "Huh? But you and mommy always say it's bad to make a mess, though?" she asked, as her father tried his best not to sigh at his precious little girl.
"Well... uh... you see... you're not really making a mess, sweetness." He started to tell her, getting an idea, "You're decorating the floor with pretty flower pettles. That way, it'll look nice when Ms. Kyra walks down it."
"Oh... Ok! I'll make sure it's REALLY pretty for her, then! ^_^" Gina smiled enthusiastically.
^_^ "I'm sure you will, sweetness." Jonas smiled, giving his daughter a big hug. He stood up and started for the door, turning back to smile at her again.
"I'm gonna go see if mommy's done making the food, Ok?" he said to her, "I'll be back in a few minutes to get you."
As he walked out the door, Gina smiled mischievously. She reached up for the two bows in her hair, pulling them out and grabbing at her long hair. Pulling it back into a pony tail, she used the two bows to hold her hair together, on at the top and one in the middle of said tail.
6.6 "Now to just get out of this icky dress..." she thought aloud, starting to pull at the sleaves.
"...and don't even THINK of getting out of that dress, Gina Elizabeth, or you'll be in BIG trouble." Jonas' voice suddenly called out from behind the door, causing Gina to yelp a bit in surprise.
-_-;;; "...yes daddy..." Gina sighed.
