Indeed.

I didn't realize that it was unusual until I got to the midwest and no one else said it. Then, there are lots of other fun New Englandisms. Most notably these are "Dow!" to express disbelief or skepticism a la "no way" ("The President is making an amendment to allow gay marriage!" "Dow!"), and "By the Jesus" to express lots of stuff ("I'm gonna find that rifle, by the Jesus!"). -------------------------
