Nerf or nothing!

Unread postby Ganonfro » Sun Jan 22, 2006 9:19 pm

HOW MANY NERF TOYS HAVE YOU PEOPLE GOTTEN IN THE PAST?

I only bring this up, because I actually got two of the nerf guns that were shown in Penny Arcade. They're cheap and awesome. I advise getting the Nerf Maverick.

Only if you mod them so the turret comes all the way and spins out so you can play Russian Roullete.

They are. It's fairly easy to do, and a friend of mine who frequents the SA message board helped do it.

I have had the Maverick for quite some time and it scares my cat. <p>

It sure was. <p><span style="font-size:xx-small;">"It's in the air, in the headlines in the newspapers, in the blurry images on television. It is a secret you have yet to grasp, although the first syllable has been spoken in a dream you cannot quite recall." --Unknown Armies</span></p>

Uh...I think I had a Nerf watergun when I was a kid. My brother had some more Nerf stuff, though, which I would <strike>steal</strike> borrow from time to time. <p><hr />

I think I once had one of those Nerf guns that you could load tennis balls into and fire them with air pressure. They kinda hurt, too.

Actually, I'm not sure that was Nerf. <p><div style="text-align:center">

The first Nerf toy I can remember ever having was the Nerf boomerang. Weighted on its three outstanding parts, it was very easy to throw such that it did a decent job of returning. Later on my sister and I ended up owning two of the three-shot ball-shooter things, and an ArrowStorm. It probably still works, if we could find some arrows for it, but the thing is a noisy mofo. <p><span style="font-size:xx-small;">"It's in the air, in the headlines in the newspapers, in the blurry images on television. I lost my little brother in a Nerf accident. <p>-----

Oh? What KIND of Nerf accident? <p><hr />

I've never actually had any Nerf, althoug I did have the benefit of playing with various Nerf artillery owned by other kids. Those were good times. <p><div style="text-align:center">Image</div></p>

I had a nerf Baseball bat, and I think a nerf football growing up when I went through that very short I LURV SPORTS phase.
