Headline: Selfish @#$!% Gets Served! Read All About It!

Alright, before I post the somewhat short log, some background info. The other person in this conversation is my ex-girlfriend's room mate. I still talk to my ex fairly often. Friday night after the halloween party (you can see my costume in the Halloween Costumes thread =D) I went back to my friend John's room and passed out. At about 3:30 am I got a call from Sarah (the room mate). She said she was at a party and there were some drunk guys who wouldn't stop following her around and she'd appreciate it if I could come get her. I am a nice guy and would help even a stranger out of this kind of situation, so I told her I would call her back in ten minutes. I got up, got dressed, got my stuff together, and walked to my car. It was freezing cold, about 20 degrees, outside.

I called her back, she told me to meet her at Kroger. There are two right around Virginia Tech, I ended up driving to the wrong one, called her, and told her I would drive to the other one. She said that it was fine, she'd get a friend to bring her to her home, just to meet her in front of her dorm because I couldn't get back into my friend John's place because the doors auto-lock after 10:00 pm. Well I go to the front of her dorm, wait for about twenty minutes, get worried that maybe she got in a wreck or something, and get someone to let me into the building. I walk up to her room to wait in the study that is next door for her to call me/get there. As I am passing her room door,I hear music inside, which was odd. Then I heard her voice, and the voice of some random guy. It was then that I realized she pretty much screwed me over for laughs.

I walked back out of her dorm and back to my friend John's, and have to wait what feels like forever in the previously described twenty degree weather. Needless to say, I was not a happy person.

Today I talked to my ex on the phone, and it turns out that her roomie told her that I was trying to date rape her by offering her pills and trying to get up to her room to be alone with her. I flipped out. It's one thing to screw me over, it's another to spread lies about me. So this evening, not long ago, I IMed her and the following conversation took place.

It's not my finest work by far, but I think I expressed how unhappy with her I was, and I believe I may have at least struck a minor chord because she said, "Wow, no one has ever said anything like that to me before."

This really doesn't serve too much of a purpose, I just wanted to share the fruits of my labor with some people, and it happened to be you guys. <p>

Update: Talked to my ex who got back to her room shortly after this conversation occurred. Apparently I made the roomie cry, which just makes me feel a lot better about myself. I mean I was tired, I didn't even try that hard (b'-')b

While I am not doubting she didn't deserve the verbal lynching.. Feeling good about making someone cry? When it seems they were actually sorry for it? Hell, crying would be enough to show that she was really sorry.
This is assuming she actually DID cry and not have it said to gain sympathy.

Ofcourse, what do I know? I don't know this person or you all that well. So my opinion doesn't matter.
