Argh, goddammit, I hate summer vacation.

Now the whole damn thing's gone down the shitter. Remember those art requests from last Christmas? Well, I finally got around to doing them, and hell, I was actually able to get a good flow of artistic mojo on. But, as usual, something had to fuck that over too. My dad came along while I was doodling and started ranting and bitching about copyrighting, supply and demand, and all that crap is relation to the damn requests. Trying to make stupid points like "What if these characters are made into movies" and crap like that. I mean, hell, what do I care, they're other peoples' characters and just my boredom doodles, as if I would give a rat's ass about the legal complications even if someone steals it. The drawings are hardly professional quality anyway and are a generic anime style.

But, here's the kicker, I had a printout of the requests so I wouldn't have to run to the computer to re-reference the descriptions, he took a look at it and told me (Meaning I'd better do it or he'll be yelling bloody murder) to archive all of the paperwork of this sort for legal reference. WHAT THE FUCK!? It was a REFERENCE SHEET. Not only that, but he's going to make me give him a copy of every damn doodle I scratch up for collection and some stupid safety thing he told me nothing about. Even if it's a piece of monkey shit stacked on top of a piece of red construction paper, I'll have to Xerox it and give him a copy and all this other random crap, and I have no idea what the damn reason is.

Now this may not sound so bad, maybe even incoherent, mainly because I'm lightheaded with ABSOLUTE FRUSTRATION right now. I don't want to have to go through all this goddamn trouble just to DRAW. Plus, I never wanted my parents to get involved with my hobbies because it always completely threw off my artistic mood. And now, my dad'll be hounding me everytime I put pencil to paper.

And trust me, this is worse than I make it sound like.

Now I have no idea how I'm gonna conclude this other than: Fuck fuck FUCK!

EDIT: And I know that my icon's too big, but I'm just too pissed at the moment to do anything about it.

Woah. That's cool, sorta, about how your dad seems to care about, uh, talent. My dad found a crappy crayolart image I drew for Shini, and asked "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS CRAP?" and I had to pull the "Friend at school" excuse. Har har.

But anyways, just tell him that they're friends; not business partners or people with aspirations. Or something. :D

Techically ya not allowed to copywrite someone elses character anyway, as its there legal property. Though you can at least copywrite your picture of them... so eh *shrugs* Tis a weird thing copywriting.

I can understand how that could be rather annoying and all. He has a good heart but maybe a bit over zealos about it, however its not the worst thing ever. Still a major hassle though.

Aw hell, nevermind. I dunno why I was bothered by it that badly in the first place. Though I wasn't able to say what I actually wanted to, I guess I was just feeling irritable last night. This is probably gonna blow over in a few days anyway, and he'll probably forget. Thanks to anyone who tried to understand and Jooie can burn in hell .
