I request a picture of Madrigal, one of my characters.

Name: Madrigal

Height: 5'2"

Body type: Madrigal is rather thin, and would probably tip the scales at less than 100 pounds.

Hair: Her hair is translucent; it has no color of its own, but lets the color of what is behind it pass through. It reaches down past her shoulders, and she wears it loose.

Eyes: Blue.

Typical attire: Madrigal favors short-sleeved blouses and knee-length skirts in bright colors; this is partially for looks and partially because of the climate of Beldad. She also wears black sandals.
-----

I'd like to request a pic of Damian Vaza, if you would be so kind. ^_^;;

Damian Vaza: A tall, athletic man with a slender, though athletic build. His face is cold and somewhat chiselled in a very bishounen fashion, and his skin is pale, though not unhealthily so. His hair is black, let loose and slightly wavy about his shoulders, and his eyes are green. Usually wears shades and a black trenchcoat, like any good Matrix reject.

Hmm... what to request then... o.o

Perhaps a pic of the One Piece RP crew, as it is (the players as well as Mr Nine and Miss Thursday), the descriptions are in the thread, and if there's anything more you need to know, just ask... if you want to do something that big, I dunno. :3

Thanks man. ^^

If it's not far too late, I would like to humbly request...

Lorraine: 5'6", slim figure, to the point of looking slightly underfed. She has long black hair, kept back in a messy braid which reaches down to her waist. It's dull, and doesn't have much of a shine to it. Her eyes are a sort of blue-ish green, like a sea green color. Her features are sharp, her chin and nose pointed.
She wears a a slightly loose looking sleeveless light green shirt, which has a curved v-neck that doesn't quite show what we would consider to be real cleavage. The shirt cuts off just before tucking into her belted pants of matching color, which look like they might be tight and sexy... if she would fill herself out more. On her thick black belt, with a plain steel buckle, hangs a series of pouches and containers for vials, as well as a black bull whip. Her brown leather boots are small, fitting her feet well, and reach up to mid calf, before folding over.

Shada: 5'9", medium figure. In a word, curvy. She has platinum blonde hair, reaching to the middle of her shoulder blades, which she wear down. Straight in the back, with a slight wave in the front, settling it nicely on the right side of her face, while her bangs on the left are put into a small braid. Her eyes are a haunting gray, and almond shaped. Her cheek bones are rounded, and her lips are full and vibrant.
She wears a cobalt blue top with long sleeves, open around the neck, in a big 'O' that lets one of her shoulders hang out. Her pants are black, and belted with thin brown leather, and on the right side hangs a rapier. Her brown boots fit the form of her foot and her calf well, reaching almost to her knees. She wears a silver necklace, from which hangs a marble-like purple gem. On her right hand she wears a gold ring with an oblong saphire gem set into it. This is on the ring finger, while on the index finger of the same hand she wears a gold ring set with a princess cut white diamond.

I'd love to see both of them, but if you'd prefer to do just one, I'd like it to be Shada. In the case of the former, Shada and Lorraine don't like one another: Shada will be more refined in expressing this, while Lorraine will be more open about it.

Finally: Great stuff so far Nick. I'm impressed by your use of a more realistic style.

Woooooowwwww.... Bes... that's a LOT of description.

Anyway, DUELIST...

RICK DWYER: I won't lie. This was hastily drawn. For some reason, my hand was all SHAKY. Honestly, I LUV his expression, but his feet are f--ked up (I suck at feet pointing in the same direction). Also, I don't think I got the costume right. If I did, it's a stupid, ugly costume. Also, not as happy with the bright yellow background as I used to be. I'm redrawing this.

Hey, it happens. :D Yeah, the costume does need some work, but I DO like the way its set up. Well...I don't feel comfortable correcting a requested image...but if you are redoing it anyway, then here goes...

He looks good in terms of expression, we know something's about to die, so that makes sense. The weapon isn't his usual light, quick saber, but that's not a big deal. I've always imagined the cloak being set up so that it is sort of draped around his body, so that it hides most of what's underneath, as he's still got several weapons hidden on his person...and the main reason why its Crimson is also related to this: Blood doesn't show up well on Crimson, and when you've gotten in as many ugly looking, onesided fights as he has, and come out on top despite this, you sort of figure on the fact that it will ALWAYS scare the crap out of someone if they can't tell if you're bleeding...or that you've just cut through a half-a-dozen people.

As to the clothes underneath...well, lets face it, they aren't supposed to be very good, they've got a little padding, and are made to be able to survive a trip on some very rugged terrain, and have a few hard to spy locations for holding various daggers, darts, and whatever else could be handy. The clothes themselves are pretty loose and actually comfortable, as his fighting style is based on moving a lot faster than the other guy, and being able to get the hell out of the way, very quickly, so he needs the flexibility.

I hope that helps...most of that's just how I view him...Thanks Nick.
------

Three more!

Unread postby Nick Shogun » Thu May 13, 2004 8:50 pm

VIRGIL

I looooooooooooooove this one. Virgil is some weird RP guy... he's cool, though. I didn't mean to draw him buff and bishy, but I accidentally did, and drew a scrawny one beneath. Good in all aspects. Especially the hair.

www.deviantart.com/deviation/7257756/

AK'ZHUL

This is actually the FIRST picture of Ak'Zhul, and I didn't want to scan it because the left arm is a little too far off the body, if you notice, but I scanned it anyway. Go figure.

www.deviantart.com/deviation/7257597/

FESSENDEN

Okay, I love this picture. He's just so.... CREEPY. He looks lean, and hungry, which was the point. I screwed up on the kneepads a bit. The little sketches next to him are what I was thinking before the final drawing. I think the tentacles turned out great.

The picture of Virgile amuses me greatly. Especially as I had the same problem of drawing him buff and bishy, where he's not actually that much.

And the hairless nekojin is...yeah. That's Div's characters for you. Good drawing, though.

Nick vs Choark

This one's for BG: I love this picture. I think it was done very well, and I spent a good half hour coloring it in PS. The Smudge tool was used mostly for the hand impacting the cheek, and it turned out kinda funky, but I like the way it looks... very surreal. The Nick Shogun in said picture looks a little different from the old one, but times have changed, and so has he. Fights with sais now, instead of a metal chain.

Actually, just check the Oekaki board. He's there, right hand corner of the Chibi Jam

Nick Shogun:

Black shirt, low neck, holes in the shoulders. Gray metal bands around wrists. Brown belt with metal buckle. Bright red pants and a metal necklace of balls. Black shoes with yellow flames on the front end. Fights with two sais.

If you need more info, I'll still scan my initial sketch.

If it makes Nick feel any better, I avoid commenting in this thread for two reasons.

1) I hate insatiable fanart whores. It has killed my ability to actually ask for fanart, which is interseting 'cause I seem to have a small handful of it anyway, despite never RPing ever.

2) I've run out of different ways to say "That is totally badass."

Plus I'm lazy. And I haven't even seen all the artwork in this thread, partically due to that aforementioned idiosyncracy.

Image

Dear Nick:

You've left my puny player speechless, and breifly reconsidering his sexuality. He keeps staring at me now, and it's kind of unnerving. >_>; ... Lovely picture and all, but... HELP!

... In seriousness, I owe you big for this one, she's abso-fucking-lutely beautiful.

Edit:

Nick 2: I really like the wrist bands, as you can really tell where each length of cor lays, it's not smeared dspite how close toegether they are, and the lines ar really straight, along with the bands that go under his fingers. And as Dia said, lovely pants. I also like the little thing below his eye, as it looks like it took a very steady hand to get it as good as it is.
