Art Jam Thread: Take 2

Unread postby Deeum » Thu May 27, 2004 3:57 pm

Ok then, since i'm too lazy to revive the other one. I'm making a new one.

Anywho, as many of you already know the Mario Jam got trashed. (unless Cho still has his copy...)
We need to start some new ones back up. You guys feel free to start some of your own. I'm not always going to be the one starting them off you know. :(

Right, so to the point of the next one:
Jedi Avatar Art Jam
Inspired by some people in the chats and the following Memegen:
http://memegen.deskslave.org/viewmeme.pl?un=Talon Sky&meme=1074654617

I'm going to give this ago.
The only requirements I have for this is its going to be one of those things getting passed around. IE: Photoshoped/drawn
Not oekaki. :{
Anyone wanting to join this one feel free.

Also feel free to start some art jams of your own.

Oekaki info:

I am not even remotely interested in the Jedi jam. Not that Jedi aren't cool or anything, but I've never been artistically inspired by anything from Star Wars. Except maybe R2D2.

Besides, I suck, and I would only degrade the quality of the jam.

Image

Yay, Cho still had it.
Also, as I said main times in my other post.
People are free to start others. You don't have to post here if you're interested in the Jedi Jam.

I wouldn't work in any of the above jams, but possibly a catperson (boy OR girl, equal opportunity!) jam or a pirate-themed one?

Catperson Jam.

Hmmmm...

Very well, I'll start one of them, seems cool to me. Nothing stopping you doing a Pirate Catperson either I suppose =P

Anyone else up for it? So I can get one of them list things?

Image

What is the proper procedure for starting a jam, anyway? Especially considering that RanomIdiocy has a couple members that aren't RPGWWers.

Image

I'm all into misreading posts these days!

Anyway. To start you
1) raise a suggestion.
If you get the needed amount of people
2) login to the account provided and chose whichever format (Oekaki BBS/Paint BBS) and choose a large enough canvas for everyone to draw on and, well, there you go. just do you piece, save, and take it to the next person.

To not risk any goof ups in re-touch it's suggested you don't enable animation.

Simple enough.

Also: Is BG even registered? 'Cause I seriously need to get this Metroid jam thing off the ground, since there's no way I could do the nekojin jam any sort of justice.

Image

Well, that depends if she's going to do the Jam Via Oekaki or not.

If it's Oekaki she can use the one I made for everyone. Don't think she need to register if she's only going to be drawing for the Jams.

BrainWalker will never stop feeling sorry for his art skills (yo), for that is who BrainWalker is. Besides, there's a million and two different things I could put in such a jam, I'd never be able to make a decision.

Image
