Since I make good use of my free time...

Unread postby Nick Shogun » Fri Apr 02, 2004 7:19 pm

...I went and sketched some of the characters in my RP, Curse of the Shadow Walkers. I'm illustrating it, so I need to draw them right.

Critique?

I do not go medieval on peoples asses. I go Renaissance. There's an important difference. Medieval is just beating someone with a mace, but Renaissance is artful, sophisticated. Smooth, yet firm, powerful, yet distinct. Everyone knows when someone's gone Medieval on their ass, but they don't know Renaissance until its too late. -Wiseass Dave

Of the links, Dovev and Trigger are the most spiffy. Especially Dovev. That's an awesome ponytail. Something's off about Sybil, though...her arms are wacky.

In the doodle page of many characters, again Trigger and Dovev are rockin'. I like the detail you've got on Trigger, though some of it's a little...I don't know, generic? Dovev's coat is spiffarriffic. Sybil's got an awesome expression, on the other hand.

I don't know if it's style but her head is way off in proportion to her body.
---------------Celeste of Elvenhame ---------------

Yeah, the proportions are off on Sybil; I'll learn from that. But costume/face/everythingelse-wise, did I draw the characters to the liking of their creators?

dude, Trigger rocks. ^_^

a few changes from what I thought of him before...but I perfer them. This looks awesome. The gun could use a little work...but then again, I'm guessing that those are hard enough as is...and having no artistic skill, I really can't judge.

Very, very cool.

I'm totally loving all of these, although It hink that you do your guys much better than the girls. Still shibby, though on Meryle her face looks odd... likely because her neck is far too thin, or at an odd angle. Or mayhap both.

Trigger ROCKS!

*sob*

edit: Very nice drawings of "John Rambo" and "Mr Alucard".

And I guess it is kind of my own fault i was excluded. There wasn't a detailed description of Klaus, until now (see my character's thread for the update)

Micheal Klaus and Zakara preliminary sketches... tell me if they look decent, and if not, what I should change.

quote:"Klaus should be hugging an amorph."

Klaus: What's wrong with that?
Spoob, Tareen and the rest of the bunch (at that time):*evil glare*
Klaus:*Blue background, "downcast" lines*...

to the kickass artist: The Backpack!! you left out his favourate Backpack!!
And you might want to re-read the description on Klaus's sword again here.
Otherwise, its actually quite good.

SKETCH, people... I'll make the necessary adjustments, wkz. Nice sword, by the by. And it's funny how you used my picture in your profile. Good fun.

Whoo! Mikey's cute and has an adorably clueless look going there. XP I like Zakara too, though I think she'd be sharper-featured. Otherwise, spiff!
