(reminder. There is a foot of water on the ground)

Kalins attack hits. The force of the blast shakes the room, causing some rocks to fall. But the attack is dead on hit.

Crit hit 100
Monster hp ????/????

Kalins force level is up by one. (I think you have two now Kalin. One more and your force can be used. Please remind me if any of you have any force points.)
Monster action

The water splashed them all as the beast roared in pain. It lifted its head slowly and then exhaled. A white cloud spreads out over the group, there is a sudden chill as all of you are hit with a cold attack.

Hp loss is as follows.

Gean 50
Kalin 15
Ryo 20
Rydar 30
Shek 31
Please subtract from your total hp.

The monster lowers its head and is done with its attack.

There is now a few floating shards of ice in the watter.

Ryo grimaced as the mist overcame him. "Stupid cold...."

Ryo cocked back his ARM and raised the scope of it to his eye. He waited for a moment centering his ARM and a smirk slowly grew on his face.

"Time for some old fashioned sniping."

With that, he pulled the trigger of his ARM, the bullet flying out of the barrel. It flies for the beasts head, as its shell would obviously be more durable to direct attacks.

Shek winced as he was hit by the icy mist. A shiver running down his body. In a fit of mental exaggeration he felt that he might have to check for frostbite.

Shek didn't want to run the risk of getting his ARM jammed up because of the cold mist, or the water that was spraying everywhere. He held out his polearm and looked at the beast, both of the bladed ends glistening in what little light there was.

"Alright, if you want to play dirty..."

Twirling as he went, Shek spun and lept at the monster, in a move that was sure to hit at least twice if it connected.

Rydar wiped the ice off of his face. He dropped the rifle, which was frozen beyond working, and got out his sword. "Screw it." He ran at the beast full force and raised his sword. "LETS GO", he screamed as he leaped into the air and aimed a downward slice on the beast.

Rydar strikes the beast.

Crit hit. 150 hp down.

Force level up by one for Rydar.

(Note as soon as you hit three you may use your force ability.)

*Geans action*

Gean drew her arm again and took aim, though it was hard threw all of her shivering.

She puled the trigger and hit for 20 hp damage to the monster.
Force level up. . .Gean is at 2

She lowered her arm and stepped back, her face looked pale and her lips were turning blue. She hugged her arms as she stared angrily at the monster.

"This is . ..so cold." She said angrily. "Your going . .t. . t.o pay for this!" She screamed.

The monster turned its head to Her and opened its mouth. Suddenly a large jet of water shoots out and hits gean for 50 hp of damage.

"Ahhh," Gean screams as she is throw against The wall from The force of The water. Slowly she stands, Her breathing heavy. She steps forward.

"I'm not going to let you get away with that." She hissed as The monster roared.

Ryo glanced over at Gean. "Shit!" He ran over infront of her the water splashing with each step. "Be more Careful Gean! This is no time to catch a cold!"

Ryo looked back at her with a smile. "Just make sure you get a heal berry soon. You don't look too good. In case he attacks before you can get one I'll be a human shield."

Ryo smirked, he had a feeling he was the most durable one here so if anyone should cover her it should be him. He cocked his ARM, waiting....

"I'm ok," Gean said smiling. "I got a surpsie for that ugly oaf." She said with a smile

(Gean has reached force level three. One from the first fight. One hit. and One hit on her.)

"Besides," She said standing. "I can do this. I have to do it, I mean I wouldn't be much of a dream chaser if I didn't huh?"

She stood up strait and smiled. She reached into her bag and pulled out a small heal berry. She held it above her head and her eyes glowed softly.

"Mystic!" Gean shouted. As soon as the word left her lips, the party is surrounded by a yellow light and each member gains 50 hp each.

Gean smiled and wiped the cold water off her face and smiled at The others.

"Well, lets do this guys."

"GEAN!" He was thrown off the monsters back and watched Gean get blasted. ' Crap I can't help her. He suddenly felt his pain in his chest lessen, Gean had cast some sort of spell on him.

He noticed that the creature was rearing its head again. "Gean, LOOK OUT!" He ran and got between her and the monster. ((*Rydar takes a defensive stance, any blow meant for Gean will hit Rydar instead for this turn*))

Kalin screamed as he dropped his ARM in the water. He drew his sabre and moved with lightning speed, as he half ran/half swam toward the monster. He leapt clear of the water, and aimed a sideways slash directly at the beast's chest area.

Kalins attack dose 45 hp damage to the monster. Adds one force to Kalin making him at 3 you may or may not use it on this monster. You may save it

Gean stared at Ryo and Rydar and then frowned.

"Come on you two, its not the time to argue. I didn't heal you guys to fight each other." She said stepping between them. "Look," She said pointing to the monster. "Its starting to weaken. Lets try to focus on kicking that thing into the ground!" She said pointing.

The beast was starting to show that it was getting weak. Its massive head was lowered, and its eyes were growing pain. Oddly enough, its face seemed happy.

(OOC: I think that having a battle formation attack might be confusing since we have so many people fighting. So I'm going to leave it up to you guys. Should we keep it the way it is or should we toss it and do something like this: Each player can attack when they want, but only once during a team action. For example If Ryo attacks a beast then he can't attack again until everyone else has attacked also. It might save some time. I'll let you guys vote on it.

Great posts guys. BTW what do you think of the monster? Sorry this is my first rp and I was wondering how I was doing.)

(( OOC: HE got infront of her AFTER the attack. Then she used mystic, then you bumped him aside I guessed. And I think the formation is kinda confusing. I would say everyone gets to attack whenever but can't attack again untill everyone else has is a good idea. Also, did Ryo connect with his shot or did he miss? Cause he needs to reload either way.))

"Will you two stop fighting?" Shek yelled back at his companions, "Considering the situation we're in right now, not only is it stupid, it's dangerous!" His voice was much harsher than it usually was, Shek's pleasent personality had been currently shoved to the side for the duration of the fight.

He still didn't want to risk rusting out his ARM. His blade was much easier to clean and temper than his ARM was.

Shek was a little disapointed in himself when he hit the monster, regardless of the what it was doing, it didn't really seem to take too much joy in smacking him around. It really didn't seem proper to Shek to lay the spin down on it, so when his blows connected he muttered a muffled apology.

Ryo grumbled too himself and reached in his trench coat, he then glanced at Rydar. "Yeah sure whatever. Just don't push me again."

He pulled out from a pocket in his coat some ammo, he then backed up from the general battle a bit and began to reload his ARM. ( How long does reloading take? )

Rydar looked at Ryo, "Guard Gean, Ryo." At that he circled the beast, he was looking for a weak point, finally he decided on his eyes. Rydar leaned back against the wall and watched the beast, waiting for his chance to attack. Finally, Rydar saw his chance and charged, his gun was useless this fight, but his sword was razor sharp. He swiped at the beasts eyes and face.

(Sorry about that. It takes one turn to load an ARM)

A loud horrible roar as the creature fell forward, its face bleeding, and causing the water to change from a clear fluid to a deep dark crimson.

As the group watches the monster lies still, as they stare at it a voice fills their minds.

~Seekers of Valor, all of you have proven yourself. But only one can hold my strength.~

Suddenly the water begins to swell and rises up in a pillar before the group.

~Son of waters, accept my gift of power.~

As they stare at the pillar a unseen force Grabs Kalin and throws him into the pillar.

A bright blue light surrounds him as the water swirls. You can see his eyes are glowing. The water dis apears, and Kalin falls to the ground.

"Kalin!" Gean screams and runs to him. "Are you ok?"

Note To Kalin

New medium "Schturdark" has been added to Kalins abilities. However you do not know how to use it, or how to understand it, but there is no reason to fear it. But somehow you feel as if the power was always ment to be yours.

(Ok so that one was a given. But there are other mediums, and I know who will get what. It will play into the destiny part of the rp. But you guys have to figure out how to use them on your own.)

Ryo finished reloading his ARM a bit late as the battle was over. "Well drat, oh well." (It's okay to reload after battle right?)

He walked forward to Kalins side. "You okay? That looked like a bit of a rush." He placed a hand on his shoulder and patted it reassuring him he was okay.

"Now then. If we are done, I would like to continue. I really want to find out what the hell she wants now. I usually get a warning if I am going to be fighting a big monster."

Ryo shook his head and walked towards the next room, stepping through and looking around.

Kalin seemed okay, if a little dizzy. "Alright Kalin I'm moving on, we need to stick together in here if we are to survive."

He stood up, slightly shaky, and retrieved his ARM. Then he turned and grinned.

"And yeah, you're right. I think those to need to lighten up, just a bit. But we need voices of experience on crazy adventures like this,"

"Oh, and by the way," he said, "Does anyone have any idea exactly what that thing did to me?"

Gean smiled at Kalin and shrugd.

"Don't ask me." She said with a laugh. "But ha, maybe we can find out when we get to where we need to." Gean stepped threw the door that was now open to them.

(Next room)

As you step inside, the chill becomes worse. Those who have never seen a computer see it as a large metal thing. Something that is whirring, and flashing at you. For those of you who do know, it is a masterful piece of equipment (Other than Ryo, I'm not sure who else knows.) An image is on a large screen. It is of a man dressed in a long white coat. His hair is blue and his eyes are green. He stares out with a blank expression.

"Wow," Gean said with a gasp. She shivered and rubbed her arms. "Is that the comp .. poooter thing. Its. . huge."

"AHHHHH there's a guy stuck in there." Gean said with a gasp.

Shek looked at the machine with a frown. Ancient technology made his head hurt, and he felt that pretty soon his head would be hurting rather badly.

He looked at the man on the screen, staring at him for a few moments before speaking, "He's not trapped in there Gean..." he said, with a certain degree of uncertainty.

He walked over to the device slowly, searching for that object.

Ryo stared in awe at the machine his jaw hanging down. "Oh... my... GOD!" Ryo rand up to the computer not bothered at all by the cold.

"This is incredible! One of the finest types of ancient technology! And its still running! This is absolutely amazing!" As ryo examined the computer he looked like a young child who had just gotten a new toy.

"Yes yes! Its in nearly perfect condition!" Ryo quickly pushed Shek away as he began to examine the controls. "Don't touch anything! This matter must be handled with extreme care!"

Ryo looked at the man on the screen and smiled. "Ah. Perhaps he made this computer." Ryo nodded to himself. "He must be a scientist of some sort! Yes that is it!" Ryo blew off any dust on the computer and examined it.

"Hmmmm....." Ryo began to tweak with the computer controls some. He did so with utmost care and delicacy. To his fellow travelers, he might look as if he is in his own little world.

Ryo glanced at Shek. "Then you have no right to be a part of this team if you don't trust us enough to touch you." He then promptly went back to typing at the computer controls.

He looked at the screen as he typed. "Besides, I am the only one here who has seen one of these before I bet. And bashing it with a weapon or ARM will not get you that Card." Ryo then went silent so only his typing at the controls could be heard from him.

(occ. When you beat the monster you all gained one level and 50 more hp each.)

Gean sighed and leaned against the wall as she watched Ryo and Shek argue. She yawned and stared at the man in the screen.

Suddenly the room grew dark and the image began to move.

Gean jumped as the man began to speak.

"Alpha report 290. Our research on the mediums have proven useful. There powers can now be harnessed. We have downloaded the information, and it is expected to go well. End report."

The image flashed and changed, the man went from looking calm to looking terrified.

"ALl . .. " the image said as static began to surround it. "Has been for not. All we have done, everything, has been cast asunder. The . . metal .. .. . . .have come. They . . .. .are now at the . .. .gate. The medium, has escaped.. . It hunts us now. Perhaps for our sin. . .it has come. . .Schturdark. Even now we find out more about it. . .it. . .s. . .. .and has the ability to speak. It speaks to our minds. . .. it says something about valor. . .and the ocean. . .it talks to us. . .we do not understand. . .for as it speaks. . .it kills."

The image flickers and the image again changes. This time the man appears to be very thin, his face as pale as a sheet. His eyes are dark and sunken in.

"It is the last days. . .last days for me. . .This place. . " he says as he laughs insanely. "All of Filgaia has suffered from the medium study. Our sin has brought. . . the . .. them. It is to hard to speak. But I go on, to warn.. . .Ahhhh No! Stay away. ..no. . .AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

The image falls silent, the last thing you see is the mans terrified face shadowed by a horrible figure.

Gean stood staring at the screen.

"Was . . .that thing we fought. . really a Medium?" She said looking at Kalin. "Then. . .what did it mean. . and why did it do what it did?"

Gean shivered.

"Lets get that disk thing and get out of hear. This place feels. . .so horrible right now.

Shek scowled at Ryo. Shek hadn't touched the machine at all. "I suppose that practically gives me permission to.." He fell silent as the computer grew to life.

He listened to the message silently, taking it all in.

Ryo stared at the screen watching the record with interest. "Now I understand...." He nodded to himself.

Ryo smiled and looked around the computer carefully taking in the layout. "Hmmm...... If I am guessing right..." Ryo took a few steps over to a small slot in the computer.

"This perhaps is it..." He stared at the slot and began to tinker with it until the card came out into his hand. ( OOC: Hope thats okay. I won't finish post until you say its okay that he finds it there. ^_^

Gean looked over Ryo's shoulder.

"All of that for that tinny little thing?" She said taking it from him. She held it up to the light and then handed it back to him.

"Ahhk, doesn't make much sense to me." She said with a laugh. She put her hands behind her head.

"All that matters is. . .we are going to get some major Gella. he he. I say we have a little celebration. You know. I to commemorate our first team victory."

Gean laughed. Suddenly her eyes widened and she turned to the computer. A blood red light was flashing and a siren was starting to sound. ANd it was getting louder.

"Uh . .is that suppose to happen?" Gean shouted.

Ryo looked at the light and simply muttered one word. "Shit."

He quickly put the card in an inside pocket of his trench coat and looked at everyone. "Okay people. That light means one of two things. We set off an alarm and we will have some monsters on us soon. Or worse case scenario, this place is gonna cave in or blow up. Either way we need to get the hell outta here."

Ryo looked at the computer once more. "Shame to leave this thing.If I had more time I might have been able to deactivate the alarm... But in this case..." He quickly turned back around and ran towards the door. "GET A MOVE ON PEOPLE!"

Shek was already headed towards the door as soon as the alarm had gone off. He was halfway through the door way when Ryo had made his call.

Shek didn't like loud noises like the blaring alarm. On the farm, it just wasn't a natural thing.

Kalin followed the rest of the team out.

He shook his head in confusion.
A medium? What in the world did that thing do to me. I can barely remember... something about the ocean? Son of Waters it called me. Hmmm...

As he walked he reloaded his ARM, sliding a heavy shell inside the chamber, and pulling back the bolt. He slung the ARM over his shoulder, and drew his sabre, ready to fight anything that came at them.
