William kicked off the wall he almost hit, narrowly missing the fireball. He rolled back and behind the stone he had dropped. The stone William had set dropped started to get bigger. In a matter of seconds it had transformed into a Stone Golem.

"Golem, attack all lich's in sight." William said.

William stood back in a ready position so he could run away if need be.

"Hm a golem what a weak servent i perfer demons"said Blade as he shot a small black objcet at the golem the obeject grew bigger to the shape of a demon "now Demon attack the golem " said Blade,the demon started shooting balls of fire at the golem.

Thalakos' eyes widened with pleasure as he saw the demon appear. One of the small fireballs hits his ale and knocks it to the floor. "Grrr..wrong move buddy." He mutters under his breath. Thalakos gets up from his chair. Walking up to the lich he leaves his sword sheathed. "Your going to pay for the ale you spilled or your going to have to pay with blood."

"What a minor spell you think you can beat me with a weak spell such as this?" Thalakos' eyes turn green with disease. His skin turning dank and decaying a strange aura surrounds him and begins spreading. In a croaking voice of disgust Thalakos says, "HAHAH, I suggest you show yourself and tell me how weak you are before i give you the disease of the earth. For i am of the ancient art of poison boy, I have lived longer than your race has. Now stop this useless spell or i shall kill you and this whole city!"

the Lichs then started shooting lightnig bolt at Thalakos.

one lich then chanted and ten Demons appered.

"try that on for size"Blade Shouted at Thalakos.

Still in his cracking voice he says, "Boy i gave you a warning now you force me to do this!" Raising his arms into the air Thalakos absorbs the thunder with little pain. He powers up his POISON AURA as it spreads to the demons it incinerates each of them as it touches. "Now for you lich!" Concentrating his powers into the aura he obliterates all the illusions leaving the last alive. With his lightning speed he puts his decaying hand upon Blades chest. "Hahah, Thalakos laughed. I shall not do this for you serve a much larger purpose in this world now. Begone and bother me no longer i want to finish my ale." Thalakos returns to normal, the barkeep rises from his hiding post under the bar and the chatter begins back up.

William started chanting under his breath.

The sky darkened. A second later millions of tiny knifes fell from the sky like rain in Arkansas. [OOC: for those of you how don't understand it is hard to tell one raindrop from another when it rains in Arkansas.] The knifes resembled letter openers only 20 times sharper.

William jumped into the Inn hoping not to get stabbed by a knife.

"As i said before lich, the ancient art of poison magic was lost long ago. It was lost about a thousand years after i was born which would make me hmm. I dont keep track of my exact age but lets just say the poison art was around 1000 years before i was born which was the beginning of this planet and 1000 years after i was born so im 1000 minus the age of this planet. Roughly im almost as old as this planet.

OOC: Damn, how much can you guys post in a night!? I was asleep!

Angel watched the duel carefully from a back ally, it was a shdowy alley with several barrles adn crates to hide behind. angel couldn't hear what was going on, but could take a shoot at it...it seemed like they were dueling...
Angel watched the two literally lift into the air and fly off to the north. Angel quickly made chase to the two over the country side. angel's hood fell down on his shoulders revieling his long pointy ears...

(sorry guys i'm so used to posting without details because we have chara sign-ups nd that's were we stick the descriptions...yeah he's an Elven Ranger *i usualy make him a human* and if i'm not here when you guys post i'll let you auto for my chara so you don't have to wait for me, and remember...he's very stoic. He dosn't feel emotion in otherwords, i'll get into that later)

As he was "thrown" into a nearby roof, he allowed himself to sail through the air like a rag doll and land softly on the soft thatch of the roof. He frowned somewhat, pondering whether or not he should waste some of his precious blood to eviscerate the lich... but he thought otherwise of it, for the moment, as this lich didn't seem like a large threat.

"Tch.. what a poor excuse of a magic trick.." Alexander muttered to himself. The roll of thunder echoed through the town, causing Alexander to look up.

"Rain. Feh." He muttered once more before springing off of the roof and landing gracefully. From there he sprinted towards the tavern (OOC:?) where Tim was currently residing with great speed.. it was almost as if his feet did not touch the ground.

A few moments after hanyou had entered the safety of the tavern, the deadly rain began. A few people inside the tavern looked up at the ceiling in awe and fear, wondering what could possibly do such a thing.

( OOC: Blade, do us a favor and don't god-mode. )

William sat in the Inn drinking the rest of his beer. The people in the Inn... looked scarred, it was understandable. Four people with awesome power had just dueled. William took another drink from his beer. He looked up from his beer to search out Tim. Upon seeing him, William got up and walked over to him.

William bowed, "Sir Tim, I was wondering if there was a soldiers wage, and when we are departing?"

(OOC: Good lord, that's a lot of posts. Oh, and Shadow, haven't I said be realistic? Firstly, something that I failed to mention earlier: dark flames setting "the forest" on fire. Firstly, there IS no forest in the city (for obvious reasons), and you can't set things on fire with shadow magic! Also, that much gold requires quite a bit of work for both the carrier and recipient to carry, and is about the worth of an entire KINGDOM. Also 50 mirages? A lich is a powerful spellcaster, sure. A lich can cast many powerful spells. However, a lich is not God. Same goes for the rest of you. Also, you're allowed a limited amount of control over the effects of your attack, but in the end, it's my call as to how effective it is.)

Tim replied, "Well, I will be paying any necessary dues out of my own pocket, so I suppose there is a wage but it will be limited. We shall leave immediately, and gather the people once more."

As he was floating, Blade noticed a number of mosquitos, a raven, etc. A bee flew up to him and stung him on the hand, (OOC: He's a skeleton, isn't he?) biting into the bones.

Blade felt a sensation of spiritual drain as the bee flew a few feet away and kept its distance.

Alexander was still sitting in his corner booth, waiting for Tim to organize the soldiers in some way. He yawned boredly, stretching his arms out once more. He was growing tired of waiting and wished that this show would get on the road already.

"Yes... setting off soon would be nice." Tim's words had drifted over to his ears and he called out his reply from across the tavern. Suddenly, he remembered he had left his belongings on the roof... in that knife-rain.

"Damnit. I better go get that." He muttered to himself, pondering how to achieve this. He looked around for a way, his sapphire eyes sparkling.

then a figure floated down by Tim,it was Blade "i left Thalakos sleeping in the Inn, i left him a note telling him he was on his own for the staff,now i am going with you if you don't mind,if you do mind then you'll face me in combat and i have a trick up my sleeve yet so are we going or not"Said Blade as he walked alongside Tim.Then as a bug flew ny him Blade slashed at it with a Blood red sword he kept hidden.

The bee quickly ducked out of range of the sword.

Tim noticed something else out of the corner of his eye.

"I don't have a problem with you other than that you'll scare the hell out of our pilgrims, but I think someone else does..."

A large swarm of bees headed straight for Blade.

Tim thought for a moment, then said, "Actually, I remember something about a large bounty on a similar lich..."

He concentrated, calling a sword of black force into his hands.

Wielding the shadow sword with one hand, he said, "Come, share with us some of your wealth!"
