Re: No. She just kills people. ^_^

Molo scratched his head. He really wasn't understanding much of this. Plus, he had just woken up five minutes ago, so what he had of a brain wasn't really churning yet. "Man, she's blocking my view. . ." he muttered, slowly creeping around into the bar, trying not to catch the eye of anyone, (and failing horribly, mind you) and sitting on a barrel in the corner, so that he had view of the whole room. He rubbed his eyes, and quietly yawned. . .

Alissa nodded curtly. "I was blindfolded when I left, but I believe it was underground. Probably unused parts of the sewage system."

She started swinging her legs. "The problem is, of course, that I have no idea what exit I came out from. Do you have anything that belongs to the prisoners?"

"Here." Molokidan walked over to the girl, holding out a hairpiece Kotoki had left in the back of the bar. He peered over to Jak. . .then back to the girl. She looked. . .okay. . .he scratched his hair, waiting for her to take it from him.

Alissa took the object and concentrated for a moment as her eyes went blank. "Right." she started. "I can feel her location. The other one's there too."

She pointed northwest. "That way. I'll know when we're above them. It's just a matter of finding the nearest manhole."

(OOC: Gah, I seem to have creative block this week or something v.v; )

^.^; "Well, I'd offer some of my robe to you, but I suppose that is hard when one is tied up like this." Midoku said, trying to sound calm. Truthfully, he felt like screaming at the top of his lungs. He was a captive again. He was being held against his will, being told what to do by someone else. The fact that he was not alone did a lot to help him remain calm.

>_>? "Do you suppose we could be to the north? It would explain the cold...?" Midoku asked of the Inn-Keeper.

***Back at the Inn***

"...wait...'manhole'!?" Stephan asked, tired of standing around without his voice being heard, "Where the hell are they!?"

"The. . .the sewer??!" Molo shouted, flabbergasted. "You can't mean in there. . ." he said. "There's an opening in the basement. . .then again, there's a manhole outside. . .but! There's these evil creatures called alligators in there! Jak told me so! How are we gonna get through?!"

Dungeon crawl! YAY!

Unread postby Jak Snide » Sun Aug 25, 2002 12:27 pm

e.e "With fire, sword and lots of killing." muttered Jak, not at all surprised that this entire series of events had lead to some romp through a dangerous area.

He turned around, heading for the door to the basement. He didn't feel like wasting any time.

"Oi, you lot! Get your worthless hides over here!" he yelled as he fumbled around for the key in one of the many pockets inside his robe. He shoved it into the lock, pulling the handle towards him and violently turning the key to the left, yielding a single click. He opened the door, and walked inside, his footsteps echoing behind him. He didn't bother to look behind him for the others. He was going after Kotoki, with or without backup.

"Jak!! Wait for me!" Molo shouted, grabbing some candy from behind the bar, sticking it in his pocket, and following the black mage through the door. He turned the corner abruptly, and tried to run down the stairs to catch up with the black mage. Of course, the over-enthusiastic sushijin lost his footing, and went sailing down and crashing into Snide's behind.

Devon saw two options. He could go into the sewers, at great risk to his life, or he could stay behind, the logical thing to do. Of course, he decided to follow the group.
"This may be the only feasible way of finding out what's going on." Ashrem muttered, following Jak.

Gming!

Unread postby Kotoki » Sun Aug 25, 2002 9:18 pm

The group found themselves in a fairly small tunnel. It seemed completely unused, and while there was a smeel in the air it was mild enough not to be annoying. The only way to go was down.

Classic moments, indeed.

Unread postby Jak Snide » Mon Aug 26, 2002 4:19 pm

"Get your retched arse off me, you miserably uncoordinated bigot!" And with those words, Jak thrust himself off the ground, sending the sushi ninja flying backwards.

Jak's front was now drenched in sewage water, this being the third time in two days that his robes had been wrecked. This coupled with the sum of recent events had just lead to him developing a twitch in his left eye.

"'Dan....get moving....now." he said through clenched teeth, his hands bunching up into fists.

SEWER CROCS! Waii waii!

Unread postby Kotoki » Mon Aug 26, 2002 10:30 pm

Alissa tried not to sigh. Yet again, for the umpteenth time in her life, she found herself surrounded by incompetants.

Brandon smiled weakly and unslung his harp from his back. He strummed a few strings and whispered "Lumos" into the tunnel. In seconds, the space was fully light.

This unfortunately revealed the presence of several huge, foul-looking crocodiles.

Ashrem lifted up his hand as if to throw something, concentrating on something. Suddenly, a blast of holy energy shot towards the closest crocodile.

The first crocodile didn't even have a chance. The blast incinerated it before it could move, and in it's place was left nothing more than ashes quickly swallowed up by the sewage.

Most of the crocodiles had the good sense to slosh far out of the way. The fifth of the group, however, was either too stupid or too lazy and recieved a slash to the side. The thick skin that was necessary to live in the sewers proved useful to it, as the wound wasn't very deep.

*quick post*

Unread postby FF Fanatic 80 » Thu Aug 29, 2002 2:50 am

Stephan sighed at the sight of the kid missing the gator, the shock of the reptilian creatures living in the sewers already out of his mind. Closing his eyes, he began to chant, the air around his right hand becoming misty and cold. He moved his hand to the front, aiming for the nearest aligators.

-\/- "...blood chilling winds of the north, encase my foes in searing cold..." he finished chanting, eyes opening wide in a glare as he thrusted his hand forward.

o\/o "ICE!!!" Stephan cried, the ice magic sailing forward toward their scaled foes...

The second crocodile of the group didn't have a chance- it was immediately incased in a block of ice, and would likely be thus for some time. The third of the creatures, next to it, had one limb frozen into a useless chunk of ice.

Making a sick growling noise it its throat, the third crocodile leaned forward and snapped its huge jaws at Stephan. However, due to the useless limb, instead of chomping off his leg it just left a series of horrifying gashes down it.

While awaiting my turn...

Unread postby Jak Snide » Thu Aug 29, 2002 2:28 pm

Jak scowled, still gathering the necessary mana he needed for his spell. He should have expected there to be giant creatures in the sewers, but he'd just written all the stories he'd heard of as nothing more than bar banter.

He was also annoyed at the distinct lack of people in front of him.

"Brandon, you yellow bastard! Get in there!" he yelled, figuring the pretty boy deserved a gaping hole or two in his hide in return for ruining a perfectly good week.

Kotoki

*falls over laughing*

Unread postby Kotoki » Fri Aug 30, 2002 3:50 pm

Alissa managed a rather insulting and threatening glare at Jak, despite the fact she was a good foot or so shorter than him.

Brandon, eeping at being referred to as a yellow bastard, dashed forward and hit the crocodile that had attacked Stephan over the head with his harp. The blow was an effective one, and the creature crumpled into a weakened daze.

Meanwhile, Kotoki was bored. She'd been kidnapped before more times than she'd care to remember, and the one thing she'd learnt was that waiting around to be rescued was the best idea.

Still, most of those times she'd at least had a good book with her. And the kidnappers had been decent enough people to provide food...

As if on cue, a guard tromped into the cell carrying two plates of something unidentifyable. "Eat." he said simply. "Don't worry. You'll be free soon enough."

*takes a bow*

Unread postby Jak Snide » Fri Aug 30, 2002 4:01 pm

Jak chuckled once as he watched the bard clock the croc. He was guessing that his harp had some sort of enchantment on it, and a powerful one if it could compensate for Brandon's combat "ability."

He didn't bother glaring back at Alissa. The half pint wench was beneath his notice, and he had more pressing matters to attend to.

Namely focusing his gathered mana directly above the croc nearest to himself, condensing it into a single, 6 foot long spear of ice. And with the usual sadistic grin, he thrust his arm downwards, the icicle following in suit.

The long-suffering third crocodile was skewered through by the icicle like a peice of meat. Blood drenched and lifeless, it sunk into the sewage and out of sight.

The fourth crocodile, still smarting from the light cut it had recieved, growled and started for Dan. Its teeth cut into his arm and left a large gash.

Alissa's Mad Skillz

Unread postby Kotoki » Sun Sep 01, 2002 2:05 pm

The attack proved rather successful, and the fourth crocodile recieved a rather nasty wound to the stomach.

Alissa drew her sword and nodded slightly. "Hikaru Miyamoto Style." she said quietly. "Thousand Blades Attack."

And then she lept at the fifth crocodile, becoming a blur as her sword flashed and thick black blood splattered onto it. When she stopped, landing back on her feet and looking at her work dispassionately, the crocodile had been reduced to mincemeat. It was impossible to tell what the thing had once been, and its remains sunk into the sewer.

She nodded again and wiped her sword on her tunic.

"They teach these kids to bloody much these days..." muttered Jak, unnerved considerably by the fact that the crocodile had been reduced to a minced pile of flesh by an 11 year old girl. While he'd met kids who were as skilled at the various arts of combat as most adults of the profession, that sort of display was something he'd only seen performed by the most fearsome warriors.

He snorted, reassuring himself that he could easily do better if he used his best attacks on these pathetic creatures.

"Alright, now we're done here, let's get moving." he announced, walking forward and giving Devon a light shove in the back, prompting him to go down the tunnel.

The man stopped as he reached the group the sword at his side was blooded, his face now vaguely distingishable beneath the shadow of the hood, it was unusually serious.

"I frequented your bar yesterday", said the man.
