Darren trundled up, arms folded. He hadn't talked to anyone since he had watched the video. Hadn't uttered a word. He wasn't mad - when Darren was mad, everyone in earshot knew it. Anger couldn't fit into the gaps left by the crushing weight of the crisis of identity the headstrong nine-year-old was feeling.

It wasn't that Darren was upset about the fact that the Wunderkind were artificially created - that didn't figure into it. It was the feeling that he still wasn't one of them. He was supposed to be able to do these things that he'd never had an interest in or knack for...manipulating data, for instance. The inner workings of computers hadn't impacted Darren at all until suddenly he was the inner workings of a computer, and while the other Wunderkind were making great logical leaps about the goings-on of the digital world and easily and intuitively using abilities Darren wasn't sure he even had, Darren was...figuring out how to talk to other Wunderkind over the link. He'd gotten the compression to work, too, but he was the last on the bus both times because he was so slow at it. That was about all he'd come up with while others were hacking and coding and deep-diving.

So what was he, then? He was a kid who liked to fight and who was good at video games and who was given the choice at nine years old to either waste away and die of a genetic disease that would have been too expensive to cure or become a walking artillery platform. It had all seemed like a natural progression - yes, he knew he was lucky that Project Bluesky came up when it did and that he'd heard about it and they'd taken him - but would they have put his brain in a machine no matter what he did? Had he ever had a choice, really? It had always seemed like he did.

Which meant one of two things, as far as Darren was concerned: Either he was a waste and a failure as a Wunderkind or someone had screwed up and he was never one to begin with.

"Today's the day, huh?" he croaked, managing a crooked half-smile at the assembled. His mood looked sour, but not the typical cocksure arrogance that the others would have come to expect.

Alexis looked over at Sam and tried to give a smile, but it was pretty obvious there wasn't much sincerity in it. She shook her head a bit and then kind of... dazed off for a bit before a message returned to him, obviously she'd made sure no one else would hear it.

I'm going to see my parents

She was holding her teddy close to her, hugging it to her chest as she nodded again, almost to herself.

I don't really know what else I want to do

She glanced over at Darren and nodded. Even though she didn't know what was troubling him, she'd felt the same. She'd only barely grasped how this computer world worked, even though her training, but she'd decided to become better at it, so she wouldn't feel so out of place when the others were discussing the things.

Darren, are you okay? Where are you going to go after we get out?

As the kids approach where they know the uplink room to be, the notice Kid leaning against the wall next to the door. The door's status is being identified as 'locked', and Kid sneers at the group (Though not at any single particular child in the bunch already present), and stands, beginning to walk away. "Have fun out in th' so-called "Real world". Bring me back some nice crap or somethin'."

To test myself out, Darren answered. He sounded surprised to even have to answer the question. I need to make sure I know how to use all of my weapons and stuff. I hope they have some tanks for me to blow up or somethin'. That's about all I'm good for, blowin' up tanks.

Sam first responds to Alexis privately, and he can't help but feel a little guilty at her response. Though even Alexis can likely tell it makes him a little uncomfortable. ...Oh. Um...'m sorry. I didn't know it was somethin' like that.

Sending the response off, he turns to Darren as the fellow wunderkind enters the room, not sure how to take his mood. Kid's comment distracts him from making any comment on it just yet, though, and he looks to her instead, "You're not goin'?" Sam turns as Kid walks off, frowning just a bit. "...Okay, I guess I understand. I'll find somethin' real cool to bring back, promise. Have fun! Try not t'be too lonely, okay? Maybe you can play with the juniorkind or something!" Waving to Kid as she leaves, he tries to look cheerful for her. "An' I'll try an' talk to you while we're outside, okay?"

The transmission fro Sam got to her first, and she looked... a bit reluctant, but then she smiled a bit more sincerely to Sam and responded, again privately.

It's... all right, my handler told me we were... going, if I wanted to.

Alexis nodded to Darren as they arrived where Kid was, but as the girl said her piece and began to walk off she frowned as well, looking lost for words until...

Maybe they will have your body finished real soon and you can come out too! And we'll be back before you know it.

The broadcast was sent only to Kid, because she wasn't sure this was the case, but she suspected it... Kid had just recently gotten turned into a Wunderkind, there were all kinds of training to do before she'd be allowed to come out to the real world.

Not sure whether Kidritta would find the response cheering or not, she looked after Kid for a little bit before she responded to Darren.

Didn't you get to shoot anything when you were training? Wouldn't it be nicer to visit someone you haven't met in a while?

...That's good. They sound nice, your handler. Sam nods to Alexis, before looking back to Darren. "...Or stuff you could do, huh? I mean...we're not supposed t'be just fightin' all the time and stuff. There's gotta be other stuff you have fun doing, right?" Not that he ever especially knew Darren that well before this, but even so, it sounds strange to him that that's all he's looking forward too.

Darren shrugged his small shoulders, looking at that moment especially ridiculous in his bulked-up armor plates.

"You saw me before, Sam. Back when I was out there. All I did was fight and watch movies and play video games...and all my video games were about fighting, and the movies too. And in here, all I've done is watch movies and play video games. Yeah, I got to train on a simulation of what being out there is gonna be like, but...I wanna have a fight that means something. Not just a scrap on the basketball court 'cuz I got fouled, not just some punk thinking he's better than me.

"And anyway, where would I go? I ain't got family left, and if I show up at the House what are they gonna say? 'Hey, the kid who got in all those bad fights when he was here got himself a pair of missile launchers! Someone fucked up real bad somewhere.' I don't need that kinda shit.

"I know you weren't there long, Sam, but if you see someone from there..." He thought about it for a moment, and a belligerent sneer crossed over his face. "Actually, never mind. You see someone from there, you don't tell them shit about me, got it?"

Max had been lying on his bed, staring out his fake window, listening to the comlink chatter. He had a lot on his mind after the last mission, and getting ready to go out into the real world brought it all back. He had enough to worry about even before seeing that video with Lauren's dad. What would life be like in a robot shell? Would the real world feel as "real" as the database? When he hugged his mother, would it feel warm and comforting, or would he feel nothing at all? But now... he wasn't sure how to act around anyone from D52. He hadn't even filed a report after the mission. It's hard enough to trust people in power when you don't know they've pulled some crazy Machiavellian shit. But now? It might be hard just to be civil. And that news story about Project Bluesky press releases wasn't helping Max feel better.

It didn't sound like all the other kids were as excited as they might have otherwise been, either. Heck, even Darren was having a mini existential crisis, apparently.

His room was in a state of organized chaos, populated by hovering windows bearing mechanical schematics, some design sketches, a few books and random bits of scrap metal. Since the closet didn't didn't provide anything more mechanically complex than a camping stove, he had been dedicated to his own personal dirtbike project. It had been a real uphill battle. In a month's time, he hadn't made the progress he was hoping for. He'd done most of his work on it "outside," but right now it was sitting on his desk, compressed to about 1:6 scale. It's a reasonable facsimile of a dirtbike frame, with some important key components missing. Like, an engine. Or breaks. Or any kind of suspension. Heck, the frame only had half a body on it. Max had had a lot of experience in mechanical repair, but building complex machine components from scratch and assembling them into something remotely workable was currently beyond him, even with all the research he'd been doing over the past month. It was frustrating being a pilot without anything to drive.

He'd had a little help from Enzo, but he was mostly absorbed in his own projects. Kid took a significant interest in his pet project, however, and without her help he wouldn't have gotten nearly as far as he had. It was pretty cool hanging out with someone whose work you admire. Kid wasn't always the easiest person to get along with, but it was much easier when she was involved in something she's passionate about, like sport bikes and kicking ass, and she forgets to be snooty. Those were good topics to break the ice, but it's not all they talked about. Hearing other kids try to offer Kid consolation on the comlink, Max understands why she needs it. Alexis was right about her body not being ready yet.

Max decides it's time to get out of bed. After a quick full-body stretch, he hops out of bed and smacks himself on both cheeks, like every guy in a movie applies aftershave. Time to stop wondering about what might be, and find out what is. Max jogs briskly out of his room, hoping to catch up with Kid. He wasn't sure she was going to see everyone off, and figured if she did, she would probably just make some witty, aloof remark and then start walking away.

No one's even in the hall. Everyone's way ahead of him. Time for a little reckless hallway flight to get the ol' juices flowin'! Max can't help but grin. It's not that far a trip, but flying through tight corridors makes it even quicker, and more fun. Max banks and rolls and kicks off walls and remembers that a Wunderkind pilot can be his own one-man vehicle. Fortunately, the ceilings were high enough that he could fly over all his brethren and tag the door first, despite being last to get up.

It's like a recurring theme or something.

Max turns to see Kid walking away. He calls after her with a goofy smile.

'Hey, Kid! Try not to miss us too much. We'll be thinkin' about ya! I'll be sure to send you a crappy postcard from the 'real world.' And don't steal the bike while I'm gone. Unless you figure out how to make it work."

Lauren was also running late -- well, gliding late might be more accurate in her case.

She had been awake on time, of course, and had gotten ready very quickly...but she had spent a long time sitting on the end of her bed, watching the gentle movements of the napping Ambassador asleep on her bedside table.

She was worried about her mom. Her euphoria at finding proof that her dad was alive had faded a little when she found out she couldn't show it to her mom. And mom would never believe her. They had gone over it so many times before, she just knew her mom wouldn't believe her. She'd say she made it up or...and nevermind that she'd spent all this time doing exactly the sort of things mom had wanted her to stop doing: learning to fight, getting better at it, getting ready to make a difference...the only reason she'd been able to do this to begin with was that she'd given her mom no choice--

"She could've said no," Ambassador Leafshade interrupted.

Lauren came back to reality. Ambassador Leafshade was looking at her, so she scowled back. Ambassador Leafshade immediately broke off the staring contest and resumed doing cute ferret things. Lauren sighed, picked up the Ambassador and headed out the door. This whole thing was just so much more complicated than she thought it would be.

Oh well! It was too late to stop her now, anyway!

Lauren slid up to the mass of Wunderkind and disengaged the XLR8 system.

"Hey guys! I hope you weren't all waiting for me"

"Nah, I'm late, too."

Janet walked up slowly, inspecting the door, then turning towards the others. "Yeaahh...Kid's body isn't done yet. And just between us Wunderkind, I caught a message being shot that there's some other catch with her body. I figure we'll find out when we're out, right?"

The door takes this opportunity to hiss, some sort of vapor visibly coming off of it as it begins to open.

Beyond is a room unlike the rest on the Database. It's lit with strange purple lights, and looks almost alien, but in a very fashionable way. There are a number of glass tubes along the wall, stretching from the floor to the ceiling at a 45 degree angle. Each has the Wunderkind's name and serial number etched into the glass just above the entrance. The floor is metal, and everything seems to have that weird fog coming off it, like the door did.

With her normal amount of enthusiasm, Silvie decides to go first.

The other children watch as she enters her pod, laying down as the door shuts behind her. The glass seals itself with a hiss, causing Silvie to jump inside, but calm a moment later. Then, the tube begins filling with a clear liquid. At first, Silvie tries to hold her breath, but as it gets high enough and she eventually loses it, she takes a deep breath of the stuff, and appears absolutely fine afterward.

Then, the other children notice that she's beginning to shrink. It starts slowly, but she begins to compress much faster, and much smaller, than they've seen before. Not only that, but she appears to be becoming less dense than the fluid, as she begins to float in it, instead of it flowing around her. For about thirty seconds, Silvie can be seen dog paddling around within the stuff, before she shrinks out of normal sight and the children's computerized brains have to turn on microvision to catch a glimpse of her.

Silvie floats in the fluid for a moment, shrinking ever so slightly smaller, before there's an odd noise..And the fluid is flushed out of the pipe, Silvie with it.

Then, it's the other children's turns. One by one, or in groups, they go through the same process, with the flushing ending off with a thirty second trip through a pipeline, sort of like being propelled up a waterslide. And then everything goes white.

------

As the children awaken, they find themselves lying in pods not unlike what one would see in a space movie. The pods open upwards, and a number of adults in work overalls and labcoats reach in to assist the children out.

As their visuals come online, they see that they're in a circular room, again with as many pods are there are children without Kid. Their bodies feel as they always have, but are now in Wunderkind uniform and made completely of metal, and their status indicates that they are several times heavier than before, not to mention stronger. Their androids, now, and they're finally back in the real world, as Wunderkind.

Standing in the middle of the room, however, is a tall man in a blue suit, except the sleeves of his jacket are cut off, making it more a vest. He's got fiery red hair, and a mark on his face, either a tattoo of some sort, or a scar. Their data indicates him to be Byron Rivendare, their boss.

After being shrunk down faster than she could comprehend, being nearly drowned in liquid gunk, and being shot through a tube straight into who-knows-where, Silvie only had one thing to say:

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUGH!"

Or at least, she tried to say that. The liquid made that quite difficult. However, the point was moot; soon, everything went completely white.

Moments later, she woke up. Silvie groaned and blinked warily, and waved her hand in front of her - wait, her hand! Her eyes widened and she jerked up, and she looked over the rest of her body. This...this wasn't like her body in the Database. It was shiny. It was metal. It was real!

"Whoop!" Silvie pumped her fist in the air and jumped straight up, and landed with a loud mechanical clank. That's when she noticed Rivendare; now slightly abashed, she straightened up and said, "He-hey there!"

Sam sits up as his body activates, feeling oddly...the same. They kept saying he wouldn't feel any different, but on some level he didn't believe them. And yet...here he is.

He looks to the middle of the room, smiling. "Hi, Mr. Rivendare! Did everything work okay? Are we all here?" Huh, he even sounds the same. Weird! Weird because it isn't weird. Which is also weird.

Well, that was quite a trip. What's with all this science fiction theatricality? I mean, yeah, yesterday's science fiction is today's science fact, but was all the smoke and the glowing lights and the thrill ride all really necessary? Was this a case of life imitating art, or is it the other way around? Or is it both, in some kind of endless cycle? Who knows.

More importantly, Max was out of the Database. He had made it back into the real world. He was now officially a... well, he's not technically a cyborg since no part of his new body is biological. That's a real head-trip. The only part of him connecting him to his humanity is his memory, his consciousness. He's heard it a number of times, but there's times, like now, when it really hits him that he really is a new kind of life form. Max touches is his face, just to get a feel for what it's like to... well, feel, in his new robot shell. It's... actually pretty much like it was on the database. Not quite the same as flesh, with all its nerve endings and whatnot. Just a little dulled and tingly, but he'd already gotten used to that.

Guess that's a good thing. Max is in a bit of an introspective daze as the engineers and lab techs help him out of his pod thing. But it ends pretty abruptly as soon as he sets eyes on Rivendare. What the Hell is he wearing?

"Hey, boss, nice suit. Did you buy that off the rack or have it custom made?"

"It's a little a both." Byron says. "I got it off the rack, then...Eh, forget it. Everything worked fine, you're just not all uploading at the same speed. You'll all be around in a second." He frowned, muttering quietly, "Except Kid."

He grins at the three up already, nodding. "Good to see you up and around. Transfer wasn't too jarring or anything, right? That would suck if one of you came out and puked or something."

As Max touches his face, he finds that it's got yield to it, like flesh. As far as a human's concerned, if they touched him, he'd be...Well, almost the real thing.

Enzo sat up slowly, looking around the room carefully. Everything felt right. Everything looked right. It was sort of creepy that they got all of this so right on the first try. They were supposedly the first wunderkind, so they hadn't done much testing. Was it D-52's hard work, or the kids' own sentient programming, or both? He didn't bother trying to puzzle it out now. For now, it was good, and that's what mattered to him right now. He looked at their boss and his siblings and managed a small smile. No press. It was silly to think there would be, really. He climbed out of the pod, accepting help where it was offered, and tested his balance. It felt alright. Everything felt alright. He grinned and snickered to himself, muttering:

"Hello, world."

Alexis was reluctant to get into one of the tubes, but as the other children did it, she finally gathered up her courage to step into her own pod, panicking slightly as the fluid enveloped her despite having seen the rest of her siblings go through it. When she began to shrink, her consciousness faded slightly, or... transferred into the liquid... or... it was a weird feeling, no matter what was happening.

Next thing she knew she'd taken a deep gasp and gotten up on her elbows, slightly woozy from the transfer. Her eyes blurred a bit, but soon readjusted themselves to the interior of the room... with people in overalls and lab-coats bustling about. She touches her face, feeling the yield of flesh... but not real, nothing in this body is real but... but...

Without even thinking she "speaks to the people helping her out of her tube.

It's okay, I can get out on my own the radio transmission was probably only picked up by her fellow wunderkind, but Alexis didn't seem to have realized that.

"Puh-lease, androids puking?" Silvie crossed her arms (her arms! she actually had arms!), and said, "Everyone knows androids don't barf."

...well, at least, she hadn't heard of androids and robots barfing. She looked at Rivendare, and said, "Isn't that right?"

"Well, that's...kind of true." Rivendare replies to Silvie. "You do still eat, but your guts are all actually reactors that'll take whatever you put in- Hamburgers, cakes, bacon, whatever- and then turn it into energy for your bodies, like a human would. So, you could kind of barf, but...It would be...Even more unpleasant, y'know? Not fun to think about."

"So...we'd be throwing up, like, energy balls?"

"I'm alive! Aliiiive!" Emily announced theatrically, lurching out of her pod before deciding that maybe this would lead the techs to decide there was something wrong with her and cutting it out. Weird downloading experience aside, she felt pretty good. A quick pirouette confirmed that her body seemed to be working pretty well, leaving her free to take in her surroundings. Being back in the real world wasn't that different from the database, actually. At least in terms of how she perceived it, which spoke volumes for how realistic the simulation was. Of course, one thing the database lacked was people. There was her extended family, of course, but overall the place was just so empty.

By contrast, the room felt pretty crowded, what with the others, the techs and Mr. Rivendare. It'd take a bit of getting used to, but any discomfort she felt was massively outweighed by the prospect of getting out and about.

Alexis climbed out of her pod unsteadily as her super-fast brain made complex weight-distributions and balance calculations to compensate for her specific way of walking and moving. In just a few short moments she felt like this was the same body she'd grown used to within that computer for the last months, although things still felt... different. Air on her cheeks, the weight of her body, the people around her...

And over there was Mister Rivendare!

She took a few steps towards him and used her new voicebox for the first time in... well, okay, for the first time ever. She hadn't spoken out loud since during that mission, a part of her still didn't want to, she didn't stutter during the radio transmissions, but no one of the techs had even seemed to realized that she'd spoken to them.

"Um... g-good morning m-mr Riv...Rivendare..." she mumbles, her voice a bit choppy.

While the others are waking up, Sam hops down out of his tube, looking around and testing his body to see just how well it reacts compared to his Database form. Or his old body, for that matter. While everything still feels the same as always, he's sure there's got to be more to it than just that. As he walks around, he looks to see if this room has any windows, excited to see the real outside for the first time in some time.

Darren glanced over at Emily. "Don' do that. That's cheesy." He shook his head in mild disapproval.

Lauren climbed into the tube, and put a comforting hand on Ambassador Leafshade, who was whining quietly. "It's okay," she whispered, as the tube filled with fluid. It was even stranger than she thought it would be. As they shrank down, and diffused into the liquid, it seemed like her thoughts were merging with Ambassador Leafshade's...which was ridiculous, because those were also her thoughts to begin with, right? I mean, she could pretend, but there wasn't really an Ambassador Leafshade. It was just...her. Yet the more she thought about it, the more she could mentally "hear" another voice, also her own, running through the same puzzle.

This is really weird, she thought in stereo, and then everything went white.

------

Lauren blinked as the room came into focus. "Woah," she said as the techs helped her out of the pod, "I think I saw this in a comic book..." Once on the floor, she bounced on the balls of her feet, feeling her balance shift. Everything felt perfectly normal. She reached a hand up to her shoulder, "How are things for you, Amb--" she froze, her hand closing on empty air, a sudden cold dread dropping into the pit of her stomach. The second voice was gone, so..."Where is she?" Lauren whispered. She started searching through her pod frantically.

"Where is she?" she yelled, an edge of panic to her voice. "Where is the Ambassador?"

"Hey, Alex." Rivendare says. He kneels, and holds his hand out for her, though letting her come as she will, if she pleases. "We've got some stuff for you, in particular."

Sam looks around, and finds no windows at all. One of the techs comes over and lays a hand on his shoulder, and even though it's metalic, he can still feel it. "Don't worry, champ. You'll be outside soon enough."

Another tech, one of the ones assisting and monitoring Lauren, speaks up herself. "Oh, don't worry. She'll be along in a second. I had to make her her own little pod."

She smiled a bit as Rivendare addressed her and hurried over, taking his hand and squeezing it tightly, like the teddy in the computer. She'd heard his voice before, even before she'd been part of the program, and right now it just felt... natural to stay close to him... she didn't think he looked weird... well, okay, a bit strange, but the rest of the kids ran around in really weird suits, so they shouldn't say anything.

She looked up at mr Rivendare with her red eyes and bit on her lip a bit (realizing that it actually hurt a little) before she responded, somewhat unsurely: "F...for me?"

Rivendare nodded. "We had a few things made especially for you."

He winced as she squeezed his hand, trying not to show that his hand was being crushed by a robotic child's.

Alexis didn't seem to notice Rivendare's pain, but her grip relaxed a bit as she calmed down slightly. She nodded shyly as he explained, her knee-length hair bobbing quite realistically (wonder what it was made of...), and she looked at the others with a worried expression. Secretly she was a bit happy that she was getting things from the D52, but she didn't want the others to be... jealous, or anything... she hoped they wouldn't be, and she hoped they didn't think she thought she was special because she was getting something and...

She squeezed a bit harder again, hoping the others just wouldn't... notice her for a bit. She felt oddly out of place, she didn't really feel any different about the real world, the memories she had of it all seemed so old and unreal by now...

A previously-unnoticed ferret-sized pod next to Lauren's opened with a soft hiss. Lauren ran over, knelt down and spread her hands as a black furred head poked out with a quiet, "Dook?"

"Oh thank goodness," Lauren said as the Ambassador stepped gingerly out of the pod into her hands. She carefully conveyed the ferret to her shoulder, and turned to the tech and Rivendare, "Um...sorry about that.." she looked down and traced a small circle on the ground with her foot as she felt her face warming up. Oh, of course they had to simulate blushing.

Max leans back, with his hands on his forehead and lets out a mild aggravated "Augh!"

Turning to Emily with his arms crossed, Max gets a little pouty. "Man, I can't believe I missed a golden opportunity for a cheesy 'wake-up' line! How is it that you're the one greeting the world with goofy lines and I'm the one greeting it with quiet reverence?"

"Maybe you an' Emily got some stuff switched around on the way out here?" Sam grins, glancing over towards Lauren's reunion with relief before looking back to Max. "Maybe you should check and make sure!"

Enzo smiled a little watching his brothers and sisters interacting with the various techs, scientists and suchlike. He was a little surprised that no one had come to interact with him directly yet, but he wouldn't let it bother him either. He just looked around at the various equipment in the room, learning what he could passively, and seeing what his sensors and databases would tell him from the word 'go'.

"What, I can't be irreverent?" Emily asked, grinning. It was always fun putting one over on Max. Besides, a room full of instruments didn't merit quiet reverence. Now, the great outdoors (either the one in the database or the one out here) might merit it, and seeing her family again would rate a response of a very different kind.

Aside from Lauren's outburst, which had been seriously unexpected, everybody seemed to be coping pretty well with the transition. Even Alexis seemed to be doing alright, which she was glad about. There was nothing like other peoples' unhappiness to bring your own mood down.

Finally, Janet emerges from her pod, taking the help of the technicians. All the Wunderkind gather in the middle now, as Rivendare nurses his hand. "Okay, well, we do have stuff for basically all of you."

He motions Janet over, and pulls out a small, black and purple PDA, matching her suit. He turns her around, and pulls a black wire from his pocket. He seems to plug one end into the back of her neck, and the other into the PDA.

Janets eyes close slowly, and Rivendare holds the screen up to the others. They can see Janet inside the PDA, looking back at them. "This is your PDA. You can transfer yourselves into them if you need to do faster calculations and stuff than your body can do. They're also indestructible by any current methods, along with your actual CPU Core, in your head."

"Hey, I can see out of this thing, too." Janet says. "This is kind of cool."

"When you're in there," Rivendare continues, "You're perfectly safe. And, it looks just like a normal PDA, so you can be easily hidden on someone's person, so long as your body's stored away somewhere."

A few moments later, Janet's back in her body. Rivendare continues, using her as a guide. "Your bodies are your suits, obviously. You're naturally way stronger than a normal human, and naturally armored. Some of you have built in weapons, and you all have built in wifi and internet connections direclty in your head. You've got the most advanced firewalls and anti-malware available, but the main idea is for you guys to communicate with eachother."

He indicates the door. "When we're ready, we'll get you guys geared up, along with any other trinkets we've got for you. Any questions?"

Sam raises his hand, and when he's eventually called by Rivendare, he speaks up. "Can we do stuff with it too without bein' inside it? Like...um...if we just plugged it in, could we use it to think faster in our bodies an' stuff like that? Oh! And is it also a normal PDA, like can it do PDA stuff when we aren't inside it?"
