I was surprised to find out how short game have become over the years, back when i first played starcraft (when it had recently gone gold) it always took us hours to complete, last time i played (about two or thre weeks ago) i was beaten in about 5 minutes and the game ended about 5 minutes later.

at least i still have about 1 hour long warcraft 3 games with my buddies.

...I'm still surprised SC2 has finally been announced. I had to go out and buy the StarCraft battlechest, which I found out was sold out all of the sudden in every store I went to, I eventually found the last copy of a local wal-mart. (Since I didn't have my own cdkey, I figured I'd finally buy one after all these years).

I'm freaking HYPED, for this, but I don't expect it to be out in the next year or so, so I have time to crush through SC and Brood War, mostly to remember what happened plot wise, while I'm still playing WC3 to remember plotlines.

Also, do people still play SC regularly around here? If so, I want in.
