A cry for help..

Unread postby Waldorf Nikki » Thu Aug 28, 2003 10:38 pm

I know I don't post much, and some of you hardly know me at all. I've tried writing in my Deadjournal, and in a real journal. I've tried talking to my mom. I've tried professional counseling in the past, but I don't feel it worked. So now I am here posting to all of you out in RPGWW.

I am depressed, and I feel worthless. My six year relationship has gone down the gutter. I'm overweight, and not doing anything about it. I'm scared of being alone the rest of my life. I don't want to end up a lonely cat lady.

I don't like myself, so how am I going to find someone else to? I honestly don't know why Steve put up with me for so long. Plus there is that whole rejection thing. It really sucks. Is there someone out there I'm destined to be with? Ugh! Just so many thoughts going through my head! I feel like I'm losing my grasp on things. Why are all the awesome single people not interested in be unsingle? (Did that even make sense?)

I feel a tad better for letting some of that out. I'm sorry for putting my troubles onto you guys. I'm sorry for ranting, and whining. Please don't think less of me...
------------------

I hypnotize you.

Nikki doesn't need to feel bad for asking for help. She's a loveable huggable Nikki and being human and needing help won't change that.

I suggest trying a new therapist if this one isn't helping. I'm seeing a woman named Maryah and she's helping me loads and tons. However, I've seen maybe a dozen therapists in the past who have helped me not one whit. You might have to search for that person who finally clicks with you.

If you don't like yourself then your thinking needs to be reprogrammed so that you do, and a good therapist will help you do that. They can also help you find the right medicine combination to help you through tough spots.

Huggles to the Nikki, and here's one person hoping you have luck in your quest to learn how to like yourself.

...I'm not too good with words, really, but what Dia said.

From what I've seen of you, you're a very nice person, and as for relationships, counselling, and all that shizz... it depends on finding the right person who clicks, in different senses in the different areas, if I'm making any sense.

*sigh* I wish I was really more eloquent at speaking about this, but here are huggles.

Niki don't get so bummed. There are so many things out there that you can do to make yourself feel better.

First be strong. You aren’t going to be all alone for the rest of your life. Thinking that way will just make everything else worse. If you don't think positive, then you'll make it come true. And these negative feelings will be put off on anyone else you meet. So pleases, don't say that.

Now, as for the other thing. I am going to admit that I am also overweight. About two years ago, I felt just like you feel now. I had no one, was in a job that had me working nights, I had no social life. I decided I needed to change. I needed a total attitude and health adjustment.

I changed from nights to days. I began to talk to people more, and this made me feel more comfortable.

I also joined a group that saved my life. I joined Weight watchers. This program is wonderful, you can eat what you want, but it is modified so that you can limit what you eat without giving up on the things you really enjoy.

I have lost around 34lbs on the program. To be honest this is really a great way to go. There is no easy way to lose weight. This program may be frustrating at times, but after about two weeks you will see results.

The most important thing though, is that you decided what you want to do. It all starts with your outlook. If you see yourself as being alone, then it will happen. Don't think negatively, be happy.

Besides, you know that if you ever need to be cheered up you can come to the forum and laugh your ass off at the bar.

Oh before I forget here is the web site. It can get you in touch with weight watcher groups in your area.

The meetings are more like support groups, and you get support from people who are going through the same thing you are going through.

i don't know who you are. or what you look like. but i know whoever you are and whatever you look like, there is still someone who cares for you , likes you (mabe even loves you) out there be sides your family.
but as my father once said , "Take controll of yourself or someone else will." BE YOUR SELF. be proud of who you are. and then all will be better. if you take control of your mind, great things will happen. go around and make new freinds. if you feel stressed take a walk and try to think about something else. clear your mind. medetate. if you don't do things like this , youll end up being someone your not. and you will and up worse and worse untill one day, you hate your verry existence.

beleive me. i know from experience.
