Well in a women I tend to look for someone whose considerate, understanding, intelligent(And yes intelligence IS sexy!), she also has to have a sense of humor, common interests, and religous belief.

By way of looks, I'm sure must of you already know what I look for. Its all about the eyes, enchanting captivating eyes!

I'm honestly not even sure. I mean, I think I have a pretty good idea, and then BAM, I fall for a girl that doesn't fit into my "niché". *shrugs*

Generally, though, I gotta have a girl that knows how to laugh at stuff. A good sense of humor is an indespensable tool for getting through the insanity of life. Not being a dumbass helps, too. RL speaks the truth, intelligence IS sexy. Almost as sexy as sharing my anime/gaming interests.

Physically, I don't really care much. Glasses and long hair help, as does a little pudge. I can't stand really skinny chicks. I prefer a woman who's not totally anal about her looks, but doesn't just totally not care about them either, ya know?

Other things BW likes: Singing, drawing, religion, catgirls.

Yea, I'm a sucker for a girl with a good singing voice. And I know catgirls don't exist, which is probably a good thing. But then, that's what cosplay is for. <p><div style="text-align:center">Image</div></p>

I'm a fan of girls of many varieties, but there're a couple things in particular:

I'm not a fan of blonde hair, and I'm also not a huge fan of tan skin--I'm not really sure why tans are all the rage, because I prefer fair skinned girls better. Preferably, they aren't much taller than I am (which is sometimes difficult, as I come in at like 5'5"). I like devotion and desire to show affection more than any other behavioral qualities. Cup size isn't a factor, but I don't particularly like extremely large breasts (B-C range is perfect in my book). The most prominent and important physical feature is probably the face, and hair has a lot to do with that--most all else is secondary to me, and weight is largely irrelevant so long as she doesn't look like a football linebacker or something. For obvious reasons, I like "geek" girls--the sort that roleplay, or play computer games, or whatever, so interests and whatnot factor in. I don't like stupid women. >_> Oh, and there is the obvious fact that she has to respect me as a person as opposed to using me for whatever.

I think that's a good summary and all.

Well, since the other guys have nailed most of the other stuff (intelligence, sense of humour, etc.) I'd say what would turn me off about a woman would be - smoking, overly religious (we're talking zealot-level here) and quite simply, those women who just see guys as money sponges - I've been suckered in by one or two.

But really, any girl who is genuine and fun to be around would be the important things. Then of course, there are shallow guys as well... <p>-----------------------------------------------------

Yeah, I'd have to agree with what everyone else has said, with an emphasis on intelligence and glasses. I'm a sucker for glasses.
And sure, I turn my head when a piece of eye candy walks by, but I'm more attracted to someone's personality, or even "spirit," if you want to say it like that, rather than simply looks. <p>

Visually:
A strong frame. Larger breasts are certainly a plus, up to about D-size, if I recall correctly (not that I've ever done research on the subject, ironically--and actually, I've even been with a woman who had two different-cup-sized breasts, so this doesn't matter nearly as much as other attributes). Those gals you see that are 100 lbs. and look like they could be used as a toothpick are hardly attractive to me; they need some meat on their bones. Longer hair is always good.

Esoterically:
Intelligence. That's a big one. Confidence and comfort with her own body is a BIG plus, though I realize this is incredibly rare. A willingness to try new things, an ability to put people in their place when they deserve it, but also a generalized sensitivity to others' feelings. The ability to function alone--I'm not a big fan of clinginess. The inclination to SAY what it is she MEANS (I understand this is also very rare). A high tolerance for 'offensive' commentary and jokes.

Of course, at this point in my life, my prime criteria for pursuit would be 'knowably STD-free,' 'available,' and 'shows even an inkling of interest in me.'

Gah I'm going to be stabbed for this but here goes'

What I looks for in a girl:

A Mate. Or friend or buddy or however else you want to put it. I have yet to ever feel the desire to actually go out and look for a lover and as such the best I want is just someone else to add to my rather humble list of friends.

Aside from that lets see, I seem to find almost 80% of females attractive in some form or another, my mind not seemily picky on that sort of thing. I can like the looks of tanned girls to Goth completely white girls. I tend to have this weird "thing" for girls not of my own, erm, "Race" as it were *shrugs* and chinese or japanese speech? Makes me knees go wobberly. (Another accent I really like is Southern American Accent... Yummy!)

But if I had to name one thing I'd really like. I think its the smile. To me someone is at there most attractive when they're really truly smiling at you, it doesn't have to happen often or anything, but nothing can beat a good smile.

Oh and girls with muscles don't turn me off either and I find something quite attractive about a girl who can crush a table if she so desires.

But as I said I have yet to go out actually looking for a lover so who knows what I'll look for then? If I'd even bother looking and not just go with the first attractive girl that doesn't throw acid in my face or something. *shrugs*

So in more rounding up - I don't know, but I have a huge list of things I likes. =D

*enjoys this thread, and adds her own two cents, despite not being a guy. So nyeah*

I'm more in the lines of Cho... yeah. Athleticisim (is that even a word?), being able to take care of yourself is a good thing. I don't care about body type so much (fat, skinny, strong, whatever) as long as the body appears functional and the girl is comfortable with it. It's like... I dunno how to explain it. One of my old friends was about fifty, sixty pounds overweight and sexy as anything, just because she carried herself with confidence and she looked like she could handle anything you threw at her, or at least know how to do a quick groinstrike before running or getting help. Compare this to another fifty/sixty pound overweight girl, had the same build almost, but didn't seem that attractive to me, because she seemed to carry around this air of self-loathing, like "I'm too @#$%ing fat!"

...yeah, that was meandering a bit. ^_^;

The guys already mentioned intelligence, empathy, etc... mind if I ask a sense of fun to the list, rather than sense of humor? Someone who's humorous may not necessarily like trying new things just for the heck of it, but I might be weird that way... I'm almost an andrenalin junkie sometimes, so that might reflect in who I like as a partner. Someone who's able to laugh at ease, at themself, and who can turn most things into a joke, but still has the compassion to be a shoulder to lean on or an ear to listen, is someone I think is unbelievably attractive, especially if they'll go on all the new rollercoasters with me and help me chatter through the whole long wait. Although sense of adventure might go more under 'common interests'. Yeah, common interests are a good thing. You need differences as well, or its like dating a clone of yourself, but you need common ground to start from.

Something I noticed few of the guys brought up was the attitude towards sex. I mean, to me, I figure that sex is something really important— save it for marriage. (Except I'd have to go up to Canada for that...) If the girl has had a few partners before, I can understand it, but I'd really prefer not to have to worry about it. Someone who has slept with everyone in the neighbourhood is just... 'ick' to me.

That covers pretty much all the mental stuff, general stuff, I think.

Physically, I'm attracted to a wide variety, although there are some things that just make me sit up and go "WOW". But these are pretty fast and easy rules, and like the Walker, I tend to find girls outside of the "niche" pretty attractive too.

For some reason, I find cornrows really attractive, especially if there are beads at the ends. Something about the swish and texture... makes me want to play with 'em. ^_^; Dark skin, dark hair is also a nice combination. Athletic or solid girls are admittably what I find more attractive, but that might also just be because I can glomp them without fear of damaging them. No way I could do that for the 'delicate flower of feminity' type.

..and, yeah. I think that's it.

I don't like girls. They're mean and hurt my feelings.

By which I mean.

I like girls who listen to me, and who aren't afraid to talk and speak up about what they're feeling. I like girls who I can talk too about things from games to politics to religion to what-have-you, i.e. Intellegence. I generally talk to people who are smart like that. Very few of my friends are what I'd call "dumb."

But thats what I look for in friends. I like risks, but I'm the kind of person who doesn't risk friendships on relationships. >.> Losing a friend of years because you had a fling is just bad for your brains. <p>[--------------------------------------------]

Well, usually women who spell it that way are either too politically correct for me, or they're lesbians who hate all men. Unless you know a girl that uses womyn, that isn't either of those, you might have a winner.... depends.

Ah yes. Now there is an opinion from the ever not-so-talkable Smartz.

First, physically:
I like a girl who is as tall or shorter than me, because for some reason, taller girls scare me a little. Same goes for overly muscular girls, but a girl who is into sports and has some tone to body is rather sexy if I do say so myself. And geeky girls are kinda cute also, especially if they have those glasses. She has to have nice, smooth skin, soft to the touch, and a nice looking face as well. I like girls with the adorable eyes, the kind that when you look at them, you just want to melt. And a nice smile going across the face makes me want to hug them. And nothing too big, please. Sure, girls with a nice ass, or chest is ok, but if they are too big, just...no. And please have some meat on you. I dont like sticks, for they are for the dogs. When I want a body, you better have some body to match with it. As for make-up, I don't really care, for a plain cute face is the best of them all. As for dressing, you can look anything from preppy to goth, I really don't care. And race or ethnicity does not matter as well. As for hair, I usually like the darker shades, and shorter variety, but a hair by any other color is still fine by me.

Now for, the mind:
I like a girl who has some wits about her. I know a lot of girls who are as smart, or smarter than me, and that is god damn sexy than anything. But, I do NOT like braggers, or snobby girls, or anyone who thinks they are better than everyone. I like a girl who has an opinion and stays strong with it, and knows how to keep her ground. I also like a girl who has that certain "air" around her, the kind that you know you an just get along with her. And also a girl who would just like to hug me for no apparant reason, of course, after I get to know her. And also, I believe if she has a good set of morals to go by, I believe that is very great of her to do so. <p>"Dude...you can't put salt on asians. We already taste good." -Me</p>

Well, there's the long term mate kind of attraction, and the animal lust kind. I've learned that the two can be separate, and neither one should be confused for the other for the sake of both parties involved. I learned the difference working at Ozzfest earlier in the summer. I had my first taste of that kind of instinct when I came across a couple of pornstars that were working at the show (methinks it was Sweet Dreams during the Manson performance if my memory serves me correctly). In any case, when they came around, my brain shut down, and eh... something else went on overdrive. The effect lasted a good couple of minutes or so before my brain recovered from the hormonal shock and I realized that these women were just about all I detested in a person. I mean, shallow, whorish, dumb as a pile of bricks... the list goes on and on until I get into rant mode. In any case, I know for a fact that I would never want to be in a relationship with a person like that even though the primordial urges tell me otherwise. I'm sure the physical aspect of the relationship would be grand. but there is FAR more to love and life than bedroom gymnastics.

I've always been a fan of the plain Jane type of gal. You know, the laid back kind of person you can have fun with. The kind of person that you could do stuff with without them being preoccupied with the state of their hair or nails. Its like the end of that line in A Perfect Husband: "-to fall in love with one's self, is to begin a life long affair." The two most important traits I look for are intelligence (a gal who's smarter than me is preferable, not that it would be a difficult feat mind you heheImage ) and humor! Brains and wits are the most attractive traits a gal can have in my humble opinion. Dating a person without the two, is kinda like dating a living love doll. Image

Now, I'm not saying appearance isn't important either. I happen to be male, and as such, I am I visually stimulated creature. I have a few visual preferences just like any other guy. For one thing, glasses are sexy. I dunno if it's because glasses imply intelligence, or if it's because they are just too kyute when worn correctly, in the right style. I just know that they are my all time favorite accessory. I've also found that I am often attracted to those of Asian, European, or mixed heritage. It's not a racist bias, it's just biology. I happen to be a mix of the two, so naturally I am attracted to both. In any case, be ye gothic, punk, conservative, or raver. I don't care! Image As long as there is a light on upstairs (and you don't have a habit of playing with sharp metal objects) odds are I'd find you attractive. Image

I have a whole slew of requirements, which have pretty much already been covered by the others, where their own desired qualities agree anyway. I've got a rather important one which seems to have been left off the list.

We can exist peaceably enough that we don't fight to the point of being agry with each other. I've had the opposite of that enough in past g/f's, and I'm damn sick of it. Little disagreements are fine, but only as long as we both keep our heads. Anything else? Forget it, those never turn out to be happy endings.

Physical: I'm not too terribly picky here. Lys makes a good point too. I've found, shall we say, larger women attractive too, mostly because they didn't go around with the mental whine of 'I'm not built like Kate Moss, I'm hideous.' And shallow as this may be, The smallest I'll go for in cup sizes is Medium B. Anything smaller, I'll be mentally sweatdropping and feeling like I'm hitting on a guy with man-boobies. And while D and up is nice... It's not a requirement. I just find it to be a nice perk^_^. And I catergorically refuse to date a woman who spends so much time worrying about what she ate that she has almost no time for me. That's -right- out.
