On clowns: Come to think of it, I once read this novel about this childrens entertainer that abducted kids, took them home, tortured them, then hacked them into little peices and hid them under his house. I think the name of the book was "Billy". Damn good book. Based on a true story too. Why doesnt this freak me out? I dunno. I still think clowns are funny.

On Horses: When I was younger, I was placed on a horse barback, no saddle or anything. Then my uncle, and I use this term loosely, stuipidly flicked a ciggerette stub across the horses face, spooked the horse, and promptly sent the horse running. With me still on its back. I managed to fall off seconds after, into the trainers arms. But DAMN did that freak me out.
------------------

I've only really been afraid of one thing above all. To be utterly and totally alone, to go through all of existence and never encounter another living soul, be it a sentient being, or vegetation and shrubbery. For me, that is Hell, and Fear itself.

Fear, thats something I've only know in dreams, or rather nightmares. Ever since I've been a child I've only had two kinds of nightmares. The nightmares don't always start the same but they always have the same end results. The first nightmare consists of me in some way, shape, or form being killed by a demon. The second nightmare consists of me killing all whom I love and hold dear. Although I find the second one far more haunting than the first. Both dreams tend to wake me up in a cold sweet terrified.

I guess I'd have to say that I'm afraid of myself, that I have a fear that I might harm those that I love.
May the curse of Mary Malone and her nine blind illegitimate children chase you so far over the hills of Damnation that the Lord himself can't find you with a telescope. - Irish Curse

My greatest fear is to have my consciousness altered by an outside source. The thought of Ritalin, alcohol, marijuana, or any other substance that directly affects the mind scares the fuck out of me on the deepest level.

Also, tapeworms. Because they look so scary...like evil drills living in your digestive tract.

Also, I'm not scared of stinging insects because I realize that they will only sting you if you're afraid of being stinged, and thus swat them, run, etc. If you just sit there, minding your own business, they will either not percieve you as a threat or not see you at all (bees and the like aren't very bright).

I'm not necessarily afraid of falling, I just don't like the feeling in my stomach. I wouldn't go on the Tower of Terror at Disney World when the band at my school went to Florida, and everyone in my group called me a chicken, so I explained to them that I wasn't afraid of the drop, I just didn't like it.

My mother and I both love thunderstorms, nature's primal wrath at its best.
_________________

I have 3 main fears.

1) Like Spleen, I am afraid of having my conciousness altered.

2) I am afraid of piers. I know it sounds strange, but it's just piers. I'm fine with boats and with swimming, but I'm scared to death of piers. It's not so much a fear that I'll fall off, but that someone I love will fall off. I got this fear after I dreamed of my sister drowning from a pier when I was 2.

3) I am scared of losing valuables through an open car window. Whenever I'm holding something small and valuable (like a calculator), I close the window because I'm afraid I'll hit a bump and the object will fly out.
-----

Zemy is terrified of pier-to-pier networking, then.
