ATTENTION, YE OLDE RPGWW!

Unread postby Dragon Sage007 » Mon Jul 04, 2005 11:17 am

I'm going to be visiting Thailand, and visiting Taiwan. Maybe with a few stop-overs in Japan. Now I know you're worried, but I've got all the essentials of bug spray, and that sort of thing. I may or may not have net connection down there, but if I do, I'm going to be seeing you all semi-regularly. I'll be leaving on the 5th, and returning on the 20th, so I might get a chance to say farewells.

Tah!

Dude... didn't you just get BACK from a long absence? Sheesh... you're quite the tease, aren't you? :P

Anyhoo, enjoy southern Asia in all its wonders. And don't come back with a venereal disease or I'll be sad.
--------------------

I'll try to uphold all your wishes!

Except for the dragon. I don't think he'd fit on the plane. :{

Maybe I can mail it to you instead.

I'm here, and I'll be posting regular-like in two days. I will also be uploading pictures in that time. See you then!

No, no more information for now. Mine time, it is limited.

Where are you going in Japan?

Yar!

Kay, so, I've learned some very important things while here. I will share them.

1.The games and books are -dirt cheap.-
2.Food is cheap. Like, a family of four can eat for ten bucks, cheap.
3.Don't cross the street if you can avoid it. Ever. Seriously.
4.I mean it. Don't cross the friggen' street. It's bad news man.
5.Cockroaches fly.
6.Did I mention the cheap games and books?
8.There is no number 7.
9.Eat your food when you get it. You will not get your food at the same time as everyone else, so just dig in unless you want your food to be cold.
10.And this is important. There is no toilet paper. You have to use a bucket or a small showerhead to clean off.

Oh, and apparently the only stop-off in Japan was for the flight. So I stayed for an hour at the airport in Tokyo. Bah.

I'm no Japanophile or anything, but being confined to a single Airport in Tokyo for an hour would drive me mad. Especially when the place you decided to spend time at had the wonderful technlogy of "BUCKET TOILETS" and "FLYING BUGS".

Seriously, did you see any hovercars and stuff out the window at the airport? You could have been PILOTING one of those things.

No flying cars, but they -did- have toilet paper. Thailand though...*Shudder*

And now, things that have no business being here!

1.T.G.I.Fridays
2.Arbys
3.7-eleven as their main grocery store of choice
4.Baskin Robbins
5.Prepare for it. Ready....KFC

Oh, another thing.

The Taiwan equivalent to chewing tobacco, which apparently raises your heart rate a good deal...is sold exclusively by scantily clad women who sit in well-lit, glass booths. Free to view by everyone. Even in winter, when it's -5 celsius.

It is, but at the same time it's awesome. Hence my dilemma in commenting in either direction.

Because RPGWW photo edits just make me giggle.
