The Voynich Manuscript

Unread postby Wolfbelly » Sun Jun 20, 2004 7:43 am

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voynich_Manuscript

Essentially, it's a manuscript by an unknown author using an unknown alphabet in an unknown language. Was aquired by a Wilfred Voynich in 1912 and has been a longstanding mystery and holy grail of sorts for those involved in historical cryptology.

Discuss, or spam. Either way is fine, really.

Ancient hebrew, or aliens. That's the first impression. But then again, I'm a layman in the worst possible sense of the word, and the best of the best apparently haven't been able to crack it in almost a century. But hey, that's what I think. <p>--------------------

Looks kinda like it was written backwords, like DaVinci's stuff... But that's just to me! :D I have no idea what it'd be.

I'm going to chalk this down to "just plain crazy".

Screw the mystery and the analyses. The author was just crazy.

Oddly enough this is the nine thousandth post in this forum.
