Sugoicon 2003

Unread postby pd Rydia » Tue Nov 04, 2003 5:29 pm

The next RPGWWcon will be meeting at Sugoicon, in Covington, KY (that's the northernmost city in Kentucky, for those interested).

I will be at the con Friday, Saturday, and for a very short bit on Sunday. I will be able to meet up with people at 2 PM each day in wherever they have the main foodcourt. I'll try to have the corn sign each day, but in case I don't, look for a moderately heavyset chick with long, dark brown hair that is tipped at the last 3 inches with blonde. I will be wearing black cat ears all days.

Anyone interested in meeting up with me is strongly encouraged to ask me for my cell phone number over AIM or email.

[edit] The meeting on FRIDAY is postponed until FOUR PM. I just don't think I can get to all my classes and get all the people who need picking up and get to the convention early enough for the two o'clock meeting.

YAY SUGOICON!!

I'm totally looking foward to it... it's been too damn long since I went out and really did something other than just basic haning out at people's houses.

Hey, is your dad still not kosher with people crashing at your place?

And aren't I supposed to be hosting Nikki and Shini (who's actual name escapes my pathetic sieve-like memory)

Image

He's a Chris. :D

And Dad's not cool about people staying, HOWEVER. Sugoicon is DIRECTLY before my birthday, so as a birthday gift, he's going to be lenient. In other words, you can crash at my flat for Friday and Saturday. :D!

Although if there's going to be THAT many people (I wasn't counting on Nikki and Chris, too), you might do well to rent a hotel room near our house for $60 ($30 a night).

Because hosting Mike, Gus, Amanda, you, Pervy, Reako, Nikki, Chris, and possibly Sean is kinda a lot for our tiny apartment.

Chris. No wonder I didn't remember it. Too many of those.

Anyway, I haven't heard from either one of them about it in some time now, so I'm not sure if they're still planning on coming. Or maybe I'm confusing this with Otakon or something. At any rate, the main reasons for wanting to crash at your place are 1) It's not nearly as expensive, and 2)We all get to hang together before and after the con. So, let us know exactly what's going on as far as logings, and I'll find out what's up with Nikki and Chris. Unless they post here before I do that.

... wait, Gus is coming? Dude, that's awesome!

I would so go to that if it weren't seven hours away.

I swear to Christ, everything is seven hours from me...

You must be taking some crazy route which actually takes you off the mainland of North America, then, instead of travelling in a straight line like the rest of us.

Food money. Bring food money, and if people could chip together to buy pizza or whatever, that would help us a lot.

Meh, okay.

And I have decided that I don't think I am gonna go. First of all, I am now very well acquainted with any of you yet, and would feel most intrusive, and second, I do not have the money. Bah.

I should've posted in here sooner. (BW: I made plans to stay with you back in September, remember?)

Anyhoo. Chris' dad is bringing him to my house tonight. We will be leaving hopefully around 9:00am tomorrow. It's about a nine hour drive. Which takes about three tanks of gas. I'm so glad I don't have to drive by myself this time. (I wuv you Cwis!)

Is anyone else dressing up? I'm going to be raccoon Mario on Saturday. My costume is so awesome! Also, I demand lots of pictures with everybody!
------------------

I hypnotize you.

Dare to be stupid..
