Nightmares (Help Most Likely Needed)

Unread postby Angel of Fire » Sat Oct 11, 2003 11:21 am

Lately, I've been having nothing but nightmares, one after the other. First it was that everyone hated me... then family members dying of uncurable illnesses...
I'm beginning to consider it some kind of depression... If anyone could think of what could be causing it/how to help, it would be most appreciated. It doesn't seem natural... <p>__________________

If you can describe one of these dreams in detail, I might be able to help you at least understand them a little; I've done some dream analysis before. <p><span style="font-size:xx-small;">"It's in the air, in the headlines in the newspapers, in the blurry images on television. It is a secret you have yet to grasp, although the first syllable has been spoken in a dream you cannot quite recall." --Unknown Armies</span></p>

Hmm, that's odd. Nothing is mentioned in my Personality book on recurrent nightmares ... and my Dream Psychology book by Freud himself is convoluted and hard to mull through. Sorry, I don't think I can help you.

Hm, I used to have nightmares every night. They gradually stopped over time. Not sure of any ways to help. <p>- - -

There is most likely something in your subconscious that is deeply troubling, something bothering you so much that even when you sleep you think about it.

Any big stressful events occur lately?
