Good point. Hm... let me think on that for a little bit. Maybe he had a high position in the Terra Fester government before Kielruth took over. That's why he was imprisoned. He wants to bring the island back to its former glory (however inglorious it might have been), and to pay Kielruth back. Oh! You could meet him in the dungeons, and he would have knowledge of how the dungeons work from his former government position.
Okay, a back-story is forming.

Should I go with the former-Terra-Fester-high-official-now-in-jail idea? If so, then I can have you guys pass by me while you're breaking out.

That's a good idea! Because then you can give us information about the emperor, his elite forces, etc. as we battle them, and so on and so forth.
---------------

That just begs the question, what would he be doing with them AFTER they got off the island?

Hmm...good point. Wait, I got it!

Zeke's mission is to rescue the man, right? So that means his mission is also to escort him back to safety. So technically, he has to stay with us until Zeke gets back to wherever his headquarters are. And we could just orchestrate things so that he never does! :D
---------------

Yeah... but who says that Geoffrey is Zeke's target? =P

*dun dun dunnnnn*

Edit: Random stroke of creativity. I encourage any and all members (who can type better than... err... well, at least) to make short appearances as side-characters! Like, if you want to pop in and play a character that'll be in like... one scene... and that's it... then go for it! Just don't... you know, involve yourself in the story too much. *thumbs up*

Note: Watch as this idea makes this RP crumble beneath me. =(
Go to http://www.gamingbliss.net! Pants for all!
Edited by: at: 4/14/05 21:08

True...

*thinks*

But wouldn't that demean his whole "super 1337" mercenary thing?

I wouldn't think someone characterized by both super AND 1337 would make that silly a mistake. There must be outside interference to make it so he has no choice! =D
Go to http://www.gamingbliss.net! Pants for all!

Faxed? o_o Isn't that a little anachronistic?

Anyway, Zeke's competent, but not "super 1337," and as we can see, he just screwed up...

I've started writing my intro post, but my roommate has come back and I can't concentrate anymore. Anyhow, here's what I've written so far:

"For almost 50 years Geoffrey Fulmer had been prisoner in the dark, moldy cell that he had learned to call home. He knew the rusty, sunken in corner through which rats, cockroaches, and other pests entered and exited his cell. It was as much their home as Geoffrey's. He was hardly any better than them. But he had a purpose, a reason to live. To wait. To kill. At eighty, he was in rather poor health. Though well-fed ("They keep me alive to torment me," he thought), Geoffrey suffered from a hunch-back and poor breathing.

He had been an invalid all of his life, but nepotism and his keen intellect had secured him a powerful and respectable job in the government. Fifty years ago he was Prison Master, an extremely important job on Terra Fester. He knew everything about the island’s prison. Everybody and everything that went in, everybody and everything that went out. The layout of the prison, its defenses, even the people who worked there. Now, in a cruel twist of fate, Geoffrey Fulmer was an inmate of the prison that he had nourished like a pet.

His body was weak, extremely weak, but his mind had not decayed in the eternal darkness. He dreamed of the day when he could return to the surface and exact revenge upon Kielruth who had overthrown the life and the government that he had grown up in."

I'll finish this later.

This will be my second RP and my first serious one. How do you like it?

Molo: Are you reintroducing Rogan downstairs? I think FD just sworded him, so I was wondering how that was going to work out.
I'll post as soon as possible, but what I do kind of depends on what's up with Rogan.
-------------------------

Well, Rogan isn't dead, he's just pinned to the wall until someone removes the sword. Either way, neither Rogan nor Graham seem to be entirely happy with their situation, and are out of the picture for the moment. I have a feeling that they're going to be recurring villains.

I was wondering whether or not someone had removed or sword or something. I figured he wasn't dead. He's too much of a bastard to be dead and not return to torment us again.
So, has Rogan been retrieved from the wall or what? Molo's not on AIM at the moment or I'd just harass him about it over IM.
-------------------------

Okay. Wasn't keeping as careful an eye on Ramsus' location. Got used to you playing Graham, so I was more prepared for Rogan in one of your posts.

Actually, he doesn't have a sword. It's stuck in the wall (and Rogan). Also, to my knowledge, he would see Azerbarth first, since Ramsus was headed towards him...

=P I have a little story to tell all of you guys...

Yesterday, I was at a badminton tournament, where I played my guts out and my partner... he... >.< Anyways, I was pooped, and yeah... except there were three people at that tournament that made our day awesome. One was one of our teammates. Tyler. Great guy. Never got angry. Always helpful. The other two were a doubles pair that we played from another Junior High. COOLEST. PEOPLE. EVER. They helped me mess with everyone else's minds, 'cause I got bored and decided to mess around. I began to act like I was in an RPG. ^^;

Maybe I'll punctuate on that later, but for now, the rest of the story. After the tournament, my badminton partner and I went back to my house. Then we decided that we had the munchies. And while we were walking to McDonalds, we couldn't stop talking about how awesome those two guys from the other school were. Like, I met some people who WEREN'T automatically scared of me! Not to mention he actually took one of my stupid suggestions (aka, I said that if one of them screamed "Hyper Avalanche Smash" while they were going for a smash, then they would be my hero; one of them did it, and got a point on it, at that). So, upon arriving at McDonalds, we noticed a "2 Double Cheeseburgers" for $3.

Then, because we were still in such a state of ecstacy from the awesomeness of the days earlier events, we decided that we'd have 1 burger for each of the people that made our day awesome, and then 1 more for ourselves. SO, we each bought one "2 Double Cheeseburger Meal", and then added an extra 2 Double Cheeseburgers to that. 4 Double Cheeseburgers, Medium Fries, and a Large Coke.

Mind you, that's not alot of food. But it's McDonalds. Think about what could possibly be in their food. And then we had to walk back to my house, feeling like crap. And I still feel like crap.

And I'm going to die, now, after making this post. Which is why I won't be posting another Azer thingy until later today. When I'm not going to die.

=(

Edit: Okay, I've put it off long enough. Posting now. And I intend to get my sword back, by the way. =P
Go to http://www.gamingbliss.net! Pants for all!
Edited by: at: 4/24/05 17:19

=P I need to see where you guys are going to take the situation downstairs before I can post again.

Not to mention I just posted, and double posting goes against my ethics.

Edit: Okay, nevermind, but still. Just saw Molo's post... and you've neglected my last post once again. You can't have called to us while I was walking towards Ramsus. That would throw off my going to retrieve my sword. Unless you meant on the way back, which is still sketchy, considering I was going to let FD make some little "mindset" post while on the way downstairs. Well, I mean, if FD can think of some way to swing himself back over to where our battle was, then by all means, we'll go with it. In any case, I can't be posting next right now.
Go to http://www.gamingbliss.net! I don't see where the inconsistency is...

When I read your post, to me, it seemed like at the end, you were still standing next to Rogan's corpse (which Azuka had been able to see from the get-go) and that Azer had merely suggested moving on...I didn't know that it was implied that they had moved or something!

So yeah, I don't see what the big deal is.
---------------

If you can't post and stuff happens, should we just assume Geoffrey is somewhere that is unobtrusive makes some sort of sense? (i.e. if everyone leaves the prison and you haven't posted, safe to assume Geoffrey goes with them, neh?)

Or alternatively, would you just rather we held off on it so you could get your stuff done?
-------------------------
