Molo scratched his head. "No bopping. . .okay. . ." he stood up. "I guess this would be a bad time to say I have to go to the bathroom?"

Urge to kill.. rising...

Postby Endesu » Thu Jul 04, 2002 2:07 am

Okan looked at Molo. He hissed tightly between his teeth as he spoke. "There are POTS in each of the cells used for said purpose. Use THEM if you need to. Mention having to use the bathroom again and I will be using your HEAD for a chamberpot."

"Waah. . ." Molo scrunched his eyebrows. "You don't have to be so mean. . ." he slunk over to a chamberpot in the corner. . . "Don't look!" he shouted, seeming to have trouble undoing his pants without dropping them down all the way. "Oh man, this is bad. . .you do know I have a shy bladder, right?!" he said to Oka whilst nature did its calling. "I could get a nasty disease!"

Molo already has a disease.. in the head.

Postby Endesu » Thu Jul 04, 2002 2:28 am

Okan looked away in disgust as Molo undid his pants. "... idiot..". He muttered to himself under his breath, "If you were to catch a disease, we would all be.. lucky.." His words caught slightly as he held his nose. "Hurry up."

^_^ Molo came hopping back over. "Ah, all better now. Nothin' like lettin' the lizard fly. . .really a relief." he said happily, not one idea in his head hinting at what he was doing to the other two.

Okan looked to Molo briefly before turning back to Seph. "Ready to go now, Mage? We're waiting on you."

"Yes," Seph said, clanking forward in his armor. He wasn't used to this sort of thing. "Although I feel like a piece of canned meat in this useless thing."

Molo offered his arms to his two companions. "Alright, well, let's get going already! I can't hold this frowny face and tears forever!"

"You're a Red Mage, aren't you? I would've expected something more along the lines of versatility from you. But if you're going to complain about a piece of armor.." Okan trailed off, then grabbed Molo's arm forcefully. "Alright, we're going to get moving."

"Complaining? No," Seph griped as he took his place on the other side of Molo. "Simply commenting on the inferior qualities of such armoring as compared to magical shielding." He made a motion of dusting off the front of the cuirass. "Let's go. Too much time has been wasted here as it is."

"Keep in mind that not all people are quite as savvy in magic as you are, Mage." Okan responded, walking forward and 'accidentally' slamming his side of Molo into a side of the entrance. "Oh, sorry about that."

He began to step out of the door and into the next hall outside.

"No, you're right, of course," Seph said, gaining a great deal of amusement from Molo's little 'accident'. They were beginning to enter potentially dragoon-infested areas now, however. Seph refrained from saying anything further.

Okan gritted his teeth tightly as they stepped out, and now slowly began to walk forward. The area ahead was empty, but there were doors interspersed here and there. Someone could come out of one of them at ANY time. They just had to hope that..

Suddenly, two Rivans began to march towards them.
"Oh, hell." Okan murmured to himself.

Molo put on his best (or worst) prisoner face, and tears slowly welled up in his eyes. He dragged limply, and looked up at the rivans with an empty look. He started to mutter to make it look like he was a psycho, but what he was really trying to do was to tell Okan to stop gripping his arm so hard. . .because that's what was really causing the tears!

Seph stared forward as he approached the guards, keeping his face expressionless. He hoped the dragoons wouldn't have the acuity to notice the nervousness that was already causing tiny beads of sweat to appear on his forhead. Stay focused, don't look them in the eye, stay natural in an unnatural situation...

"Hello, there." One of the Dragoons stepped up to them.

"Hello." Okan responded.

"Mind if I ask what you're doing with the blue-headed one there?"

"... taking him up and out so that he can be publicly executed."

"... oh, I see. Yeah, the people usually like that kind of stuff. May I ask what he's being executed for?"

Okan coughed slightly and noticeably looked to Seph. "I'm not sure, but HE does. Why not elaborate for us?"

Seph gave a quick "why the hell did you say that?" glance at Okan, then spun his head towards the dragoon. Time to think quickly! "Yeah, this one," he said, smacking Molo on the back of the head. "A real bastard. He's been charged with, conspiracy. With the dragons. Can't let a person like that go on living, can we?" he said. After all, the best lies are closest to the truth...

(Sorry, sorry. Computer troubles kept me off for two days.)

Okan briefly laughed to himself before nodding in concurrence. "Yes. He and his.. fish.. were involved in draconic matters."

"Oh, really? What's his name?"

"Uh.. actually, it's a SHE. Her name is Rydia. She's just disguised herself to look like a mutated blue-haired syncopath."

Red Seph

No worries.

Postby Red Seph » Fri Jul 12, 2002 1:57 pm

"Right, she's a slippery one," Seph agreed. Now where in the world did he pull that one from? he added silently. "One would imagine that she would choose a better form then that, though. Come on then," he said, beginning to drag Molo forward. "We mustn't be late for your appointment, witch."

Gad..

Postby Endesu » Sat Jul 13, 2002 1:31 pm

Okan could only snicker. He remembered hearing about a Rydia a while back through the other Rivans, but, having no idea who the girl was, thought nothing of her. Funnily enough, that same girl had helped them. Heheh..

One of the Dragoons nearly drove his lance directly into Molodia's face. "Wench! I should kill you here and now.."

"Control yourself!" The other one hissed. "She'll get her comeuppance in town."

"......" The Dragoon looked back to the trio. "Alright, get out of here before I kill the prisoner MYSELF."

"You heard him." Okan hissed, hurrying along. As he did, an entire HORDE of dragoons began to approach.

Good lord, Okan thought to himself. How can there be so many dragoons in this one prison?!

Re: Gad..

"This place is like an anthill," Seph murmured as the dragoons began to draw near. Bluff had gotten them past the first patrol, but things seemed to be becoming complicated quickly. He kept forward, hoping that these new dragoons had more important matters to attend to than starting up a conversation.

Fortunately..

Postby Endesu » Sun Jul 14, 2002 5:50 pm

The dragoons passed by. Okan sighed relievedly to himself, looking around quickly.

"Alright, let's hurry now. We have to keep going forward lest we risk another chance."

With that, he began to push forward, putting his legs to use and outstriding the mage by several steps (due to Seph's slight incumbrance in armor, jes?).

"Not so quickly!" Seph hissed as he struggled to keep pace with Okan's quickened step. Encumbered by the heavy steel skin, he was certainly not up for rushing through the prison. Besides, they didn't want to look like they were in a hurry.

Mages are of much great irritation, jes?

Postby Endesu » Mon Jul 15, 2002 12:49 pm

"Fine." Okan mumbled and slowed his pace, allowing the mage to catch up by that many steps. "But we have to keep our pace constantly moving, as it is."

He looked for a moment to Molo. "You've been quiet for more time then I'd credit you for. For whatever reason, it works for us."

".. now, if only we could find, say, a MAP.."

Red Seph

Irritable, me? Nah... :P

Postby Red Seph » Mon Jul 15, 2002 7:53 pm

"A map? Not much chance in finding one, I would imagine," said Seph as he clanked along. "I don't suppose we should stop for directions."

You didn't remember the map?! Josh.. I mean, Molokidan!

Postby Endesu » Tue Jul 16, 2002 12:27 am

Okan paused long enough to kick Molokidan in the back. "And you didn't say anything about this WHY?!" He hissed. "....." He looked nearly enraged enough to take out his lance and run Molokidan at that very place, but he held back. ".. gad.."

He turned to Seph. "... do you have any ideas as to how to get out of here, then, beyond trying to find our way?"

Red Seph

"At this stage I am prepared to forget this plan and burn the entire place to cinders," Seph growled, glaring at Molo. "No matter what we do, we must get on with it. The dragoons are going to see through us eventually. We should just continue in our present direction; those two guards made no question to our path when we left."

Golden shiny.. path.. of hope.

Postby Endesu » Tue Jul 16, 2002 4:33 am

"I guess we don't have a choice." Okan muttered. "Which is why I brought up the concept of hurrying. Is something holding your legs down as we walk, mage?" The dragoon huffed slightly, continuing up the straight path. "With luck, this'll lead somewhere.. before we feel like this will never end.."

Red Seph

Shouldn't that be a wire?

Postby Red Seph » Tue Jul 16, 2002 9:34 pm

"Of course, o mighty dragoon," Seph murmured under his breath. "We'll continue forward, then," he continued, raising his voice loud enough for Okan to hear. He could only hope they found the entrance quickly; every movement and gesture felt like it required twice the effort, thanks to the ill-fitting mail.

Yes, but do I look like Barret to you?

Postby Endesu » Thu Jul 18, 2002 2:39 am

"Do I sense a bit of impudence?" Okan snorted, but he kept his feet moving as he spoke. Before long, the trio began to hear the sounds of an environment closing in around them. It almost sounded as if a lively town was around the prison they were sealed into.

".... do you hear something?"

Re: Yes, but do I look like Barret to you?

"...Yes. That sounds like... What is going on here?" Seph said quietly. No simple prison was this that he had found himself in. He continued nervously forward, listening to the sounds echoing around him.

Riddles.

Postby Endesu » Fri Jul 19, 2002 4:41 am

Okan, Seph, and Molo made their way right up to a gate. Standing in front of the gate was an oddly guised man.

"Hello, infidels. To pass through the gate, you must prove your validity as guards and answer me these questions three."

"Hold on a minute." Okan coughed. "If we were in this base to begin with, why would you bother to have us prove who we are anyway!?"

"I'm bored." The man snickered. "Now! Your first question..

who is the enemy of all of Riva?"

Red Seph

Re: Riddles.

Postby Red Seph » Fri Jul 19, 2002 5:14 am

Oh, what now? Seph wondered. This is rediculous, to come so far and be stopped by this gatekeeper. Now then... Lightning? No, just did that one. Flames? But the screams, and oh, the smell. Ice? Maybe...

Seph blinked, noticing that he'd been staring at the man just a bit too long. It then occured to him that he just might know the answer to the man's question. After all, it was why he was here. "The dragons, of course," he blurted out, not realizing immediately afterward that it would have been better for Okan to answer. Oh well. "Now let us pass. We are in a hurry."

Second riddle.

Postby Endesu » Fri Jul 19, 2002 1:39 pm

"That is correct." The gatekeeper said as Okan looked on at Seph with a bit of incredulity.

"But you have two more riddles to answer.

Your second is: what is Riva's favorite color?"

Red Seph

Re: Second riddle.

Seph stood silently, waiting for Okan to answer. The favorite color of a country? He had no idea.

Postby Endesu » Sat Jul 20, 2002 8:12 pm

"Er.. ah.." Okan stumbled on his answer, hoping that Seph hwould have at least guessed. Despite being a Rivan, he knew nothing about the country's favorite color. He wasn't aware that it HAD one.

"You cannot pass this gate until you answer all three questions. You may discuss the question with each other as you wish, however."
