(Sorry for not posting in a while. I've been really busy.)

James looked at the pictures on the door and wondered about the twins. They were very odd, that's for sure, but then again everyone else in here was too. Eh, to heck with it, he thought, and knocked on their door.

From the twin's room, there's a slight scuffling noise, before the door cracks open, Katey poking her head out. "...Yes? Oh. Hi, James. What can I do for you?"

"Oh c'mon, dude! I'm just going to take a peak."

He glanced at Exey, "Right, Exey? We're just checking it out! I bet there's tons of awesome stuff in her room, y'know... like... uh... YOINK!"

And with that he was off running towards Vi's room. Well, he wasn't exactly running by his own standards, but he didn't know how fast this guy was, so he set off at a higher pace. Man, how come everyone was such a spoilsport in this place?

Gene zips away from Leon, who...Doesn't seem to care. "...Whatever."

Gene makes his way to Vi's room, and the attached...Lab? ...This wasn't here before. It must be new. The door is shut tight, with a big warning sign: DO NOT ENTER.

Oh BLAM! Shit! A sign. Wow, okay, he didn't expect this. This kind of resistance is fuckin' top-notch no way he's going to...

DOOR IS OPENED AND HE ENTERS!

(Also, welcome back Dk! :D)

James smiled as politely as he knew how to. "Hey, you two alright? Kinda wanted to see how you guys were holding up after that whole thing with Envy. Especially El. She seemed pretty angry about how things went down."

Gene enters the room! It's...Dark. Very dark...Considering Vi's suit is red on black...That could be a problem. He can't see a damn thing, even with his enhanced Wunderkind senses.

---

Katey frowns, and slips out. "El's got...She's...Um..."

Katey coughs, looking for a way to finish her sentence.

Wow, that was kind of dull. Like, super boring.

Why would she keep things in the dark like this?

Fumbling around, Gene did the best thing he could think of at the moment; look for a light-switch.

Just as Gene turns on the light...Is he tackled.

Not by Vi, though.

This one is...Shorter. Shorter, but heavier. Under her weight, Gene's pinned down.

She lowers her face to his, her eyes are poisonous jade green, and her skin is pale, with dark rings around her eyes. She growls, dinging her fingers into Gene's shoulders, and he can see four very sharp canines.

After a moment, she sits back on Gene's stomach, grinning. "Hi!" The new girl says.

...It's Envy...As Wunderkind.

Whoa what the hey who's oh shit she's here!?

Gene struggled like mad as he realized she was back, beating the snot out of him AGAIN since, hey, it wasn't as if he'd have time to train! This wasn't how it was supposed to be! He was supposed to train his ass off and make huge improvements and then they'd have another fight.

Wait.

Was she always this short?

Was she always a wunderkind

"Uhh... hi?" he tried, still pinned down. There's a look of utter befuddlement on his face.

"I'm Frenzy!" The Envy-Wunderkind says. "...Who're you?"

...She's no more than three feet tall, with some change left over. Her suit's green on black... Almost identical to DJ's. Her hair is like Envy's, except it hangs down in two tendrils in front of her ears.

"Gene, huh?" Frenzy says, nodding, still stradling Gene's stomach with her somehow enormous weight despite her small frame. "Oh, does this suit make me look fat? I like it, it's comfy, but I dunno, does it?"

"Um... no... I don't think you look... fat?"

Gene had CONFLICTING EMOTIONS right now. On the one hand, this was Envy, err, Envy Lite, sitting atop him, crushing him and being all... Envy.
On the other, she'd introduced herself as Frenzy, she was dressed as a fellow wunderkind, and she was also asking him if he thought she looked fat.

"Nope, no fat... uh..." he tried to move a bit, it was useless. "but... I wouldn't mind if you... uh... didn't sit on me. You're kinda heavy."

Haha, yeah, he had no idea what can of worms that might've opened.

"I dunno about that..." Frenzy says.

She thinks for a second, before back-flipping quite gracefully off of Gene, landing on her feet with her hands on her hips. She looks up at Gene, smiling again...showing off those very sharp canines. "So what's your job here? Do I listen to you or what?"

"Yeah, yeah I'm the leader." He bounces up himself and brushed off some imaginary dirt. "I'm Raspberry Kind, and that makes me the leader, yeah. You better remember that."

He grinned broadly, "We've got a few other juices out there, but I'm going to call you... Gooseberry Frenzy. Yeah, you get to be Gooseberries. Isn't that awesome?"

"..What the heck is a gooseberry?" Frenzy says.

"Don't listen to that idiot." Vi says, appearing from a door on the far side of the room. "He doesn't follow orders and thinks way too highly of himself."

"Oh." Frenzy says, nodding.

"Ribes uva-crispa, a plant producing an edible fruit grown in both commercial and domestic uses, of the grossulariaceae family which has many similar members such as the blackcurrant. Uva-crispa plants grow 1 to 3 yards in height, with branches thick with sharp spines. The fruit of wild gooseberries is smaller than cultivated sorts, but often of good flavor. The sometimes-hairy fruits can be green, red, or deep purple," Milton spouted mechanically as he entered the room, having been lured there by the sound of a light switch outside of normal light-switch times.

His spiel ended, having dedicated only small parts of the entry on gooseberries to memory, he stared at the others in the room. Seeing Frenzy, he pointed and said to Vi, "This one's aspect ratio is low of standards. Can it be rerendered?"

"Her weight is all kinds of screwed up." Vi says, leaning against her TV table. "She's way heavier than she looks."

"I'm NOT. FAT." Frenzy says, stomping hard enough to make the floor shake.

"More surprising..." Vi continues, "Is what you're all doing in my room and why she's not beating the crap out of you."

"Ummm..." Katey says, digging her boot into the carpet. "...We became Wunderkind after a car accident. We were hurt pretty bad...We're twins, right? So our model's the same...So we're exactly the same."

She rubs her arm, looking away. "Except, she thinks her face is...Scarred. Like..Badly. When Envy did...whatever, she thought you guys were trying to take her scarf."

"Yeah, she kind of... was crushing me a bit, yeah."

He gave a little laugh, forgetting entirely what he should and shouldn't be saying. "And obviously it's because you really want us to get in here, see, so we can see all the cool things that you're working with."

He paused, suddenly making a retardedly slow connection. "Wait... waaaaaait... did you make Frenzy out of Envy's blood?"

"The change from level 5 interface to level 3 in common cybernetic neural rendering is a complex endeavor requiring a renderer with sufficient power and speed to work in 128 bits in real time with a width of at least 5 gigaparcels per second to approximate human behavior without sophisticated prediction algorithms and is furthermore made difficult by any deviations from normal and well-studied human physiology such as might be impacted by age or injury or genetic abnormality or in some cases regional isolation causing changes on an observable evolutionary scale such as in the case grossly speaking of communities accepting of incestuous behavior."

Milton paused, but only to inhale.

"However the rendering process is very delicate and any amount of desynchronization will result in catastrophic failure leading redundant backups and safeguards to be utterly necessary in any practical sense, additionally it is recommended that users be familiarized with the system for a period of no less than six months preferably after the subject has reached age 21 and therefore exhibits stable and relatively predictable neurology. A simple magnetic resonance infrastructure mapping can be of tremendous use...."

Gene had no clue what any of these people were talking about. Especially Milton. Man, that kid was a basket-case. But when Vi shouted at him he frowned and headed after the wiz-kid.

"Hey, uh, you okay?" he patted their medic on the back, "Just don't listen to anything she tells you, y'know. That's what I do, it's working out good."

Milton snapped out of his reverie at the back-pat, and objected, "but she's a higher rank than us. We have to listen. It's our job."

His look of concern suddenly shifted to wide-eyed seriousness. "I have a new book!" he reported, as though he'd just realized it. "I'm reading it now. It's about the short people."

"Uh, you're not reading a book right now, y'know." Gene tried, looking a little confused, "You're talking with me... right?"

"But who cares if she's boss, y'know? We're a team and she's not really much of a leader more like that guy in the glass-tube who tells everyone what to do all the time." he frowned, crossing his arms, "And frankly it kind of gets on my nerves, yeah?"
