DEAR DIA OF RY

Unread postby ChristianC » Thu Sep 02, 2010 9:00 am

I have the manual and case of a certain game in my belongings, and a surprise gift (the surprise is not the gift, that is, it is not the immaterial concept of a surprise that is the gift, but rather the gift is something which I will not reveal here, which makes it a surprise!) that needs to be sent somewhere.

Where do I send it?

PM me, Stat. 4 ccs

THOSE ARE SOME MIGHTY FINE NACHOS. HOWEVER THEY NEED A LAYER OF REFRIED BEANS. MANY NACHO ARTISANS FEEL THAT THEY CAN FORGO THE BEANS BY SIMPLY ADDING MORE BEEF. THIS IS INCORRECT. TRULY EXCELLENT NACHOS MUST HAVE BOTH BEANS AND MEAT.

I DO APPRECIATE THE INCLUSION OF MULTIPLE LAYERS OF SWEET MELTED CHEESE. TOO MANY NACHO SCULPTORS JUST SPRINKLE A BIT OF CHEESE AT THE TOP AND THINK THAT'S ENOUGH. BUT THERE MUST BE CHEESE IN EVERY DELICIOUS BITE! I AM GLAD TO SEE THESE NACHOS SO CHEESEFUL. IT IS A GOOD SIGN THAT OUR BUDDING NACHO CHEFS WILL ENTER THE WORKFORCE KNOWING WHAT THEY ARE DOING.

Thanks a bunch.

Yeah, those nachos weren't all that. And unfortunately I blocked an attempt to make up for it this afternoon, but I think the sacrifice was worth it.

DEAR TIANC OF CHRIS:

I HAVE RECEIVED YOUR MISSIVE IN THE MAIL. I AM MOST JOYOUS FOR THE INCLUSION OF THE HAPPY DRUM MAGNET. I WILL DISPLAY IT PROUDLY UPON MY DOOR (AS SOON AS I GLUE THE MAGNET BACK ONTO THE HAPPY DRUM, FOR THEY SEPARATED DURING SHIPPING).

:D The Happy Drum Magnet was my way of saying "Sorry for the delay" and "Look, I can make stuff with beads!"

:< Pity about the magnet falling off, but I'm sure it can be fixed... or replaced with a stronger magnet if you need it.

I HAVE STRONG GLUES WHAT CAN ATTACH ANY MAGNET TO ANY DRUM! I AM SURE I CAN REPAIR IT!

Those bead things are cool. What are they called?

I think they're called Mosaic beads, or just plastic beads... I haven't been able to find anything like it on the English wiki, though they do have a picture file in the wikimedia commons http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... beads2.jpg

Basically, you put the beads on a square pattern of nubs, iron them thoroughly, put on some lacquer if you want to, and voila, done.

If you're planning on going to PAX East next year, I can bring a bunch of beads with me. They're cheap as hell over here and come in all kinds of colors.

That is correct!

I am curious as to why there's no wiki article about them though, the biggest perle platta was built by American students, depicting president Obama. That's newsworthy.
