Did you know?

Unread postby ChristianC » Mon Jan 18, 2010 4:57 pm

The only real way to cross the Atlantic Ocean is to go under it? In order to avoid the sea-monsters a long, long tunnel was made between France and New York City. The only reason most people don't know this is because trans-atlantic travel is the closest, safest thing the mind can think of when it is overwhelmed by the sheer terror of the journey.

Is there also some problem with an absolute lack of wind in a narrow strip of ocean between NYC and France as well? A belt, one might say, of calm.

It could surround something extremely grand.

Dere shi shi shi shi...

I heard that tunnel was breached by the Kraken, and now they have to go back to boring old air travel...

Tai: Perhaps, but you'd have to travel up the himalayas to get onto this grand... whatever.

Chuck: Except that airplanes don't fly, that's just the cover-story as the average Joe don't understand quantum physics.

Travel up a mountain? To get to an ocean? That's madness... Unless somehow, all the currents of the world could arrive at the foot of this mountain and push a boat up it...

But a plan so insane... Why, it would require the bravado of some sort of... swashbuckling royalty.
