I lost internet for a few days; Seems something bad happened to the cable box in the back of the house, and some of the connections had to be serviced. But I have returned! I'll get instant messenger and bug people for sheets and such.

I seem to have missed you when being online, Bes.

But I'm free Thursday and Friday due to the National Worker's Holiday (yes, I know, workers, *shudders*, but we're socialist-democratic, so what can you do? ;) ) and thus if you want to run my first change I'm up for grabs. Weekends' free as well, more or less, so I'll try to be online as much as I can.

Oh, and if I've got busy on, send me a IM anyway, I might be able to get away from what I'm doing. Away from Computer means just that, unfortunantly.

Update? Also, I have another player if you're accepting, who is familiar with Werewolf enough to know some Bastet clan name that I've never heard before, and which she is requesting for use.
"You haven't told me what I'm looking for."
"Anything that might be of interest to Slitscan. Which is to say, anything that might be of interest to Slitscan's audience. Which is best visualized as a vicious, lazy, profoundly ignorant, perpetually hungry organism craving the warm god-flesh of the anointed. Personally I like to imagine something the size of a baby hippo, the color of a week-old boiled potato, that lives by itself, in the dark, in a double-wide on the outskirts of Topeka. It's covered with eyes and it sweats constantly. The sweat runs into those eyes and makes them sting. It has no mouth, Laney, no genitals, and can only express its mute extremes of murderous rage and infantile desire by changing the channels on a universal remote. Or by voting in presidential elections."

Bastet?

I'm sorry, but is that really such a good idea? The changing breeds, especially Werewolves against anything else, doesn't get along well in the best of situations...

Still, Jason's call I guess. *shrugs* I wouldn't mind playing with one though.

I'm not prepared to say no to her, but I'd like to talk to her at least a little first. And, at this moment, we have started because I don't have Judo's sheet. I'm prepared to start without that if necessary, though.

I feel I should apologize for the knee-jerk reaction to the Bastet.

I used to play a lot of World of Darkness, and since I stuck with more or less the same group for a lot of years, I've kinda gotten stuck in our old way of thinking.

Sorry for that, I didn't mean to be judgemental.

I'm going to be starting the game in Other RPs tomorrow. People who don't have their sheets to me yet will be added after they get me those. Sorry, but this is just taking too long to start otherwise.

I've talked to Neb about it, and kind of sort of talked to Apple about it. Priam told Judo the basics about it:

There's a new cutoff date for sheets. If I don't have it by midnight on Thursday, the character isn't getting in. Secondly, no one has a GMPC or whatever running. I talked with Apple about this briefly, and we discovered that it wasn't actually necessary; She can play as Normal. I also apparently gave Judo this impression without meaning to. Everyone who is playying is playying a fairly standard character, even if for some reason or other they can't always be hanging out with the main body of the RPers. There's side sessions for that sort of thing.

Thursday! Thanks everyone.

I just realized it's been a LOT of years since I read TDTLTTOBNLF and I almost instantly read it as The Dog That Likes The Taste Of Billy No Life...

That was right, right? Freaky...

On a side note, and with actual relevence, did Judo and Apples finish their sheets? :/

I'm currently stuck at my parents' lodge of a house, miles from civilization and hours from the closest McDonald's... probably.

Any way, I might not be home until Monday, which means some forms of delay if I'm needed.

I think we ought to handle this contest with dice though; it's quicker more fair I think. If Bes wants to jump in and play Hatsumi here, I'm all for it.

She's going to be starting with riddles from the Hobbit. ;)

Other than most of the Hobbit riddles don't conform to the contest rules. =P

I'd prefer not to handle it with dice, but if both sides are in agreement about it then whatever.

I'm down with reducing it to dice after two or three rounds of textual competition. Because I could see it going for a while otherwise.
