I have family coming up but let me assess those shenanigans tonight with they get here I should give me a feel for how much "why aren't spending time with the family" I'll get for it.

Then I'm going to bungle out as well tonight. Sorry folks, but this is one night I can't play. :(

It looks like I can play and I called Kai to tell her as such. I think she has shenanigans that we can still do missing one player.

300 XP for those who were present for last session.

Summary for Shaun's benefit: On your way to Baron Manetti's estate, you were being trailed by one or two shadowy astral forms at all times. Consensus is that they're ghosts. You ran across a wrecked circus caravan, and decided to move on instead of chasing down what seemed to be a runaway mushroom, and without investigating the humanoids who seemed to be eating something in the middle of the road. Not a terrible idea!

Some ways past, your ghosts began spazzing and lured you back along the road from which you'd come. They led you back to Sirvix, who was following you and had run into the obstacles you'd managed to circumvent. Warned in time to go assist her before things got too nasty, you dealt with the guys following her. Then you found the mushroom that was causing the problem. Crop explained that it was an ogre mushroom, and that they make undead. Thankfully the only person it bit was Goren; Crop seemed to think that nothing would probably happen if an ogre mushroom bit something that was already undead.

That little mess dealt with, you moved on. Sirvix joined the party, and the ghosts that had been following her on her way out disappeared. Now it's the whole party and only two ghosts, which seem content enough for dead things.

Might be a late night. My clue is that I have to be in early, which says to me "long commute." Wanted to give people a heads up that I may be back on the later end of things. Bonus: session prep being done means we can start immediately.

Ciao!

Ashley has expressed interest in us continuing things tomorrow (Saturday) evening at some time convenient for all involved since our regular D&D game is totally cancelled (and all other events are pending).

Anyone else in?

Just so that it's not lost, 500 XP for this session and last night's (450 for Miriam since she was only here tonight).

See you next week, gods willing and if the creek don't rise.

Miriam wins the "Kill it with fire!" award, for immediately resorting to fire whenever her feminine wiles fail her.

Solis wins the "more bloodthirsty than James" award for immediately resolving to kill what has no life.

Sirvix wins the "I'll take the house and the car" award for immediately claiming the castle when Crop said he was leaving.

James wins a blender, for being one.

Goren wins reservations at Dorsia.

I would like to thank the GM's Academy for this award...

Because these are seriously the best awards ever.

Okay. Well, since we're so close to being done, I don't want you to miss stuff. So... game this week is canceled. Next week, being Capitalist Children Get Presents Day, there will obviously not be game, either. We'll see about New Year's. We... probably won't be able to have game then, either, but I'll let you all know in advance if I'm hoping to do it.

We probably only have, like, maybe two sessions left (barring time-eating shenanigans like the kind we usually get into =P), so we'll get it done eventually. This is just a difficult time of year.

Also, as I recall, Sirvix still needs to be recapped on what she missed while she was drunk and topless. Either the party can have another try at this, or I can do that in IM via Quinn. Whichever works. At this point we have the time, so we just need to figure that out.

I'm good for either scenario. The group business might be more fun but the Quinn scenario might be more effective...

Hey, I'm down with doing that!

Hours are going to be a bit iffy, since I'm working this weekend, but unless we quit at, like, 1 AM (EST) or something, I'm cool with it.

Just lemme note that, at least for ME, the night of New Year's Day is always one of boredom, and I have it off to the max, so I'd totally be down with playing that day.

I work the day after as usual, but... you know... if people wouldn't mind starting a bit earlier, that'd be cool with me.

Frankly, it's getting to the point of killing me playing 11 PM EST, since we used to start around... 9 PM EST... 'course, I'm up for either, but if we can perhaps settle on a time a bit earlier...

...Assuming of course that working people are home on New Year's Day. I'm not. We are running an inventory-check. :[

I don't work that day. Also, we've never started at 9 p.m. EST, in my recollection. My work shift doesn't even end until nine-thirty, not counting commute (and has not since the beginning of July), although I definitely see your point about time management. I'll try and keep us on-task so that we can get more done earlier. None of us needs to be gaming for several hours at that time of night (or morning in Christian's case).

If everyone else is available a bit earlier, Brian and I should be good to go then as well. If people could check in here to give an idea of their availability, that'd be awesome.

Soooo, I touched base with everybody, and everybody seems fine to game.

As far as starting time, we can stick to the standard eleven EST time for simplicity's sake, unless everybody is available earlier (which I'm not certain we all will be).

Okay, so. Tomorrow is our usual time. I haven't seen hide nor hair of Shaun, nor has he returned my call, so I'm kind of guessing he won't be there?

Is everyone else available for the usual? This will probably be mostly CI to resolve the loose ends left by last week's epicality, but I'll obviously have stuff prepared for GMly things depending on what your characters end up wanting or needing to do.

This Friday Brian and I have a party we are attending, and as a result, if people want to do RP stuff they should either get it done earlier in the week so that I can be present at need, or just send me a log or whatnot.

I assume we're still meeting on the normal day, but since I don't work this week....

...do people want to -slash- can people be there earlier than that? I have nothing else going on and can be available for RP as soon as I get up, so y'all just tell me times.

Brian's parents will be in town to buy him a suit, and he doesn't get off work until six, so... the earliest we can have him is probably about eight or eight-thirty. Still. It's a damn sight better than eleven.

Still need to hear back from Shaun and Amanda, so we'll see what their schedules are looking like.

Okay! Brian's parents have re-adjusted things again, and so they're going to be here on Saturday. Means that tabletop game has to be canceled, but that there are fewer time constraints on this one.

I was actually just coming in here to post that very question.

Does anybody have anything they want to do tomorrow? I ask because I don't know what time I'll be home from work, and if you want me to put something together, I need to factor in time and whatnot. Christian's in and Brian's probably in if I am, and Charles might be around, but I haven't seen much of Amanda around, and Shaun hasn't been present for the last couple sessions, so... ...?
