If any of you would like to give me a first hand view of your char's relationship with Xerxes. IM me @ FivePointFist on AIM.

I'm -6 GMT (that's US Central, right?)

Roger wilco. Have fun, I'll try not to have Xerxes do anything recklessly suicidal.

Aight, I'm out of town for two weeks. I've given Jak the gist of what Mik is up to. I'll try to get a post in here or there but no promises.

The player of the grey haired lady is currently recovering from a root canal and may be entering the game a little late.

Ah yes, uh... Mits... with actually relacquered(?) armor and with his new equipment. Also, I forgot the shade the bolt-pistol. :(

Apparantly I'm the new artist-monkey, according to Jak, so I'm gonna have to paint the other guys too.

It was implied. Mind you, I heir from a long line of passive-aggressive enforcers. I interpret everything as a veiled threat and a bitter retort. ;)

Nah, seriously though, I'll give it a shot. Can't guarantee anything though.

Aaaaand here we have the whole crew, sans mysterious woman and very dead Xerxes ( :( ), both of whom will be rendered with grafito-etchings once the planets are right.

Oh, and if everyone's extra nice I'll keep making sketches and stuff.

Take my reaction from last night and multiply it a bit. That's my new reaction.

Though Zero is right. Too many teeth! Something I completely forgot about myself.

Right, our final player (who I'm guessing won't be going by the name he uses for GMing his own game) is swamped with work and will require another week before he can join us. I'm going to go back and do a bit of editing to my former posts, but for those who (rightly) don't want to check for each little edit here's the gist of what's happening.

Sister Masha will be joining them at House Strophes eventually. She was obliged by religious duty to journey to the Cathedral of Illumination in Hive Tarsus upon her arrival in the system. This works out, however, as now she'll be joining them under the pretence of being a tutor for Laurent's daughter. It'll also give the acolytes another potential line of Inquiry, nobles and their retinues receiving far different treatment than a member of the Adepta Sororitas.

Expect a proper GM post within the next hour.

Hey guys,

Life has been ass-fucking me quite painfully. Now that I have my Semi-Pro Music journalism under control and it's become apparent that my Planescape game is dead, I should be able to return to the game. It's finals week so I will more than likely post like mad in order to take a break from studying and work. Just so you guys know, I'm not living at my normal residence this month, I'm with my girlfriend.

She uses a Mac. *Shudder*

My internet usage will be sparse unless I'm at work. Capn, Christian, and Jak all know how to get a hold of me. If any of you feel you'd like to work with Brother Gear in the capacity that Christian has expressed (Private confession of his dirty sins) please feel free to PM me or IM me.

Jak, please take me off auto pilot. I will do my best to post tonight. I'm US Central Standard, so GMT -6.

Noted, chief. You may wish to revise Brother Gear's choice of gear, then. So far he's picked up an autopistol and a stub automatic, but there's plenty of other stuff to choose from.

Also, you've had a one on one RP event between characters and not informed me of the details? Inconceivable!

A certain expansion has seen fit to expand and, more importantly, revise the Experience tables for advancing in rank, the result being below. This won't make a difference until people hit rank 5 (in 500xp or less, depending on the character), but it does mean that rank 6 comes sooner than latter. As for the right hand column, feel free to gawp at it for a bit.

Something else to gawp at; a rule that made it into Rogue Trader and I totally missed up until now. I'll be porting it over to Dark Heresy.

I've never liked the Fear rules much. Good system for the most part, but having your degrees of failure on the WP test contribute to the 1d100 roll for effect means that even iron willed characters can pass out at the sight of a horde of walking corpses.

From now on the effects of a failed Fear test directly correspond to how much it's failed by with an additional +10 being added for each level of Fear beyond the first. This keeps reactions from the upper end of the chart unless something truly warrants tearing at your own hair and babbling and makes the degrees of failure (and this the WP of the character) more of a factor than the arbitrary 1d100 roll in the RAW.

Edited my latest post, slightly more descriptive now. Apologies for the previous incarnation, I've been struggling with jetlag and lack of sleep since I got back. Anyway, one of you needs to stick your head out eventually. Go post. What's the worst that could happen?

Also, a status update for those who want to know; Gunner, Mikolas and Mithras have spent all their fate points for now. Crisis and Gunner are both 1 wound down (barely scratched) while Mikolas is on 6/22 (still hurting plenty). Other than that everyone is at full wounds and full fate. As for armour, this is what everyone is currently wearing.

Cryvus: Mesh Vest (AP 4 Body)
Gunner: Guard Flak Vest (AP 4 Body)
Mikolas: Carapace Breatplate, "Guard Flak" Helmet (AP 5 Body, AP 4 Head)
Mithras: Mesh Vest (AP 4 Body)

As for weapons;

Cryvus: Palantine Laspistol and/or Irontalon Naval Pistol (which did he take to the Alabaster Court?)
Gunner: Mauler Bolt Pistol, Guady Laspistol x2, Sword
Mikolas: Fury Laspistol, Mono-Sword, Big Bag Of Guns (everything he owns, full round action to retrieve each weapon from the bag)
Mithras: Bolt Pistol, Chainsword, Lasgun(?)

The mission has come to a conclusion, the deus-exy sneaking about that the module recommended cast out in favour of a frontal assault which ended very well, all things considered. The question now is where we go from here. I know that some people wish to bow out and others wish to switch to new characters, but a few want to hang onto their current ones and we might even have some new blood joining in. There's also the possibility of switching to a different branch of 40k RPG, should people fancy that. What're your preferences?
