How do you calculate using both of them in Philsys?
If I had a character who wanted to use a rapier and a claw simultaneously, how would I put that on the sheet?
Now that we're on the same page (pun hardiharrharr) I'd advise using the stats for a knife. It's the first, lightest weapon there.
If you're talking actual claws that are a part of the fighter's anatomy, that's different. Natural claws add between 2-4 points of damage to an unarmed attack. I can't seem to find that on the wiki, so it may be stashed someplace inconvenient. But that's the ruling on those.
Yeah, I'm planning to use a material claw for my character. It's for Russell, and I'm planning something big for him.
Another question. Since a claw is technically a weapon (you're holding it and attacking with it while holding it), would it require a two-weapon wield skill to work if I wanted to equip it with something else in the other hand?
