Even the most hardened traveler will feel his feet lighten when he sees a friendly light of a roadside Inn. Especially if the dark clouds above have burst and are making the travel overly long and muddy.

So Dino Adolfo Baldasarre led his patron mage Ea to the Inn for the night. He saw that Ea T'uukla was not focused on the road ahead. Instead his mind was wandering through the Dragon Caves of Upper Trangora or the Elven Towers of the magical Deep Forest. Or maybe he was meditating in the Astral. Dino still could not figure this out, even after accompanying the wizard for close to a year and a half.

"Adolfo?" Ea asked, giving Dino a start. Being called by his middle name was not a shock- rather that his patron spoke. Dino suspected that The Honorable Sorcerer T'uukla enjoyed this sense of power. It was worth the pay, however. "Adolfo," He asked again, "Will we be staying the night here at this place?"

"Yes Madji T'uukla." Dino replied, leading the horses to the stable alongside.

"Do you think I should be introduced?" Ea wondered aloud, possibly- Dino thought- as a wish.

"It would not be required, Madji T'uukla." Dino stepped down into the muck to tie the horses and then helped Ea down. The tall mage stood upright and walked towards the door, waiting for his herald/bodygaurd/servent to walk ahead of him.

Dino Baldasarre opened the door to the inn, casting the joint for any threats.

OOC: Hey, this is an old friend (DW, anyone?) Who's out of college and away from his RP group. Figured I would start something easy and dumb to intro a char I've played with.

What?

You are eaten by a Grue.

Rocks fall. Everyone dies.

Rocks crush grue, resulting death blows Dino out of Grue's belly and into wall.

Dino slides down wall, sticky with Grue blood and digestive fluids.

Of course, since they are digestive fluids, they eat through every part of Dino, reducing him to a bubbling puddle for all to see.

Unless Dino has his stomach lining +1 equipped!

Which he does, of course. However, because it is only a Stomach Lining +.5, he looks down to see all of his clothes an possessions are gone.

"I knew that I should not have bought it from that grinning goblin." Dino muttered while attempting to cover his lower half by stepping up to the bar.

"I'll have a drink and a blanket, please?" Dino asked.

All right, you've dealt with this enough.

This isn't the RP forum. Try "Main Gaera RPs" or "Other RPs". Also, post an RP hook and explanation in the OOC RP Discussion forum before you start the RP (there are plenty of good examples already in there).

Also, most of the posts in this forum date from May because ezBoard got hacked. There's info all over about what happened. We're actually far more active here than we appear at first glance.

EDIT: Correction, there were plenty of good examples in the OOC forum, but they're gone right now. We're sure we'll get them back later.

Yes, Several thought you were posing as DWsage, who comes and goes, and also is also known for having people harass him online in various sad and inept ways.

Ah. Well, no, I don't know DWsage at all, nor do I really want to harass him in any sad or inept way. Actually, I'm pretty sure I don't want to harass him at all, however, I don't know the man very well, if at all.

In all seriousness, starting up a board CI RP is a bit of a lost cause at the best of times. I'd suggest trying to get something going on AIM.

Backgrounds on the characters are likely in order, as well. It tends to be a pretty standard request.
