hellow nice to meet you all. Ive had this rpg Idea for I while so here it is.

Story
It was the middle of the night and the city of Lycone was on fire. Peoples screams could be heard everywhere as they ran away from the dragons the enemy avatars. A black dragon swooped barely missing the tops of buildings as he released fire from his mouth. Avatars of different shapes and sizes lay everywhere seemingly slain their energy used up or their master’s dead. The might of the King’s and Queen’s army could not hold back the unexpected onslaught. The kingdom had received a letter a week before promising an attack if they did not surrender but Lycone was proud. They never imagined that some unknown man could provide a challenge for them. Not for the country with the strongest army in all Achene but Draco Redmoon was no ordinary man. He possessed great strength and was a fearsome warrior killing entire villages alone. He passed all of this strength and malice to his avatars. The ones that were now destroying Lacone.

The king stood on a balcony keeping the other dragon at bay. This dragon was white with red eyes his claws had been stained with blood. The king was still in his nightclothes his blond hair was soaked with sweat and his hazel brown eyes were lit with rage. He wouldn’t let this intruder inside this part of the palace. No not to the nursery where his six year old son slept. His daughter and his wife were inside comforting the boy but the king dares not let them fight even though his wife was skilled he would prefer to die and take the monster with him so that his family could live. His avatars were a knight and a griffin. The knight was seven feet tall he wore an armor of red and black and he carried a large sword. He rode on the griffins back the griffin had golden feathers. It used its claws to battle the dragon as the Knight used his sword. The king had a bow and a great number of arrows. He used his magic the magic that only the royal family possessed to put a spell on the arrows so that they flew and always hit their target and then bursting like an explosive caused massive damage. The white dragon was covered in blood but It wasn’t alone the black dragon came to fight at its side over powering the king and his avatars. The white dragon saw its chance and broke through but the queen was ready holding her sword she and her avatar fought side by side. The Queens had her black hair pulled back her dark blue eyes shone with hatred. Her avatar was a six-foot tall female knight with blue and silver armor she held a sword although not as big as the kings knight. The queen’s other avatar was a griffin with white feathers. It carried the children out of the room. The queen and her knight attacked, the dragon now trapped inside of the palace couldn’t protect itself was and was slain. It disappeared returning to its master. The black dragon flew off leaving the battle as if it heard a sound. The Queen rushed to the balcony and helped her husband stand. There was a crash the queens griffin was sent flying bursting though the palace walls by some unknown force. The black dragon took this opportunity to snatch up the children as they fell from the griffins back. The queens avatar fell its energy used up. It took all of the Queens and her avatars strength to keep the king form jumping off the balcony. A note was found in the hallway in the next morning it was a ransom note. The entire city grieved for their losses their once proud kingdom in ruins.

Avatars are born from our sprits. They are our guides and our protectors. They fight for our behalf. An avatar will only grow in strength if the person grows also. The kingdom of Lycone is a very proud country having an abundance of food, mountains of riches and the best army in all of Achene. But a dark shadow looms over Lycone a man who claims to have the strongest avatar. He has already proven his might by infiltrating the capital and capturing princess Alaina and prince Stephen. He is ransoming them for the kingdom his ultimatum the destruction of Lycone. The king in his grief has given up all hope but the queen has assembled a team to go rescue her children and save the kingdom.

Basically everyone makes up a character and two avatars. Your avatar can be anything but indestructible and it can have any ability but the ability to destroy the world. It would also be cool if someone would like to make up a bad guy you know besides the main one.
Characters

These are the characters that I will be playing as. It is also a model of the character profiles.


Kila Thomas
Appearance: 5’5”, brown skinned, black hair, d. brown eyes. Wears the blue and sliver uniform of the Queens knights. Keeps her hair in a ponytail.
Female
Age:20
Occupation: Captain in the Queens army
Avatars: Isis and Starchaser
Weapons: saber
(the queens army wears blue and silver)

Isis
Appearance: 5’9, heavily tanned, white hair, lavender eyes. Has white wings and wears a white dress that stops above the knees. Has short spiky hair.
Female
Occupation: Avatar
Weapons: Sais (ummm scratches head to think of another well known character that has the same weapon. Kayura form Ronin Warriors, Raphael (the red one) from teenage mutant ninja turtles.)
Powers/ Abilities: She is a magic user. She has power over wind and light and knows a variety of spells. She can make illusions.

Starchaser
Appearance: A black cat but when trans formed turns into a black panther that is bigger than usual. Green eyes, wears a silver collar with runes on it.
Male
Occupation: Avatar
Weapons: claws, teeth
Powers/Abilities: Can run very fast and is very agile, uses roar to block attacks, confuse, or scare an enemy.

Tian Chioc

Appearance: 6’3, very muscular, has a peach golden skin tone, black eyes, and black hair. Wears his long hair in a braid down his back. Wears the red and black uniform of the Kings army.

Age: 26
Occupation: General in Kings army
Avatars: Charon and Nightingale
Weapons: katanas
(kings army red and black)

Charon
Appearance: He is a centaur. His horse parts are black. He is very muscular, has blond hair and blue eyes. He wears his blond medium length blond hair down. He has a wide metal belt where his human and horse parts meet. The belt has a scull on it.
Male
Occupation: Avatar
Weapons: Halberd
Powers/Abilities: Has a spell that can bind enemies in chains. He is very fast and he can make duplicates of himself.

Nightingale: Half woman half bird she has a bird’s head and wings on her back. Her feathers are steel gray. She has brown eyes and wears a short green dress.
Female
Occupation: Avatar
Weapons: crossbows
Powers/Abilities: Can create a cloud of darkness to confuse enemies. She can also turn invisible.

You do not have to be in the armies you can be a mercenary, a bard or just an average joe who's pissed cause his little sister got killed or something.

Rules
1. Pretty standard please don't try to be the "hero" i.e having the ablity to take out anyone and anything. Being cocky and arrogant is fine but I'm sure that my character Tian will have more than enough of that. Oh and don't be afraid to start arguments with other characters random people on a journy won't get along anyway.

2. We will all be playing as more than one character since each person has two avatars (one for each side of their personalitys) Both avatars can have the ablity to talk or not it all depends on what you make them. No immortal,super strong, I can crush you with my pinky toe avatars. Thats what the bad guy is for. You can have up to two main characters as long as you can keep them in character.

3. Write as if you are writing a book.(or at least try to I can't write at all) Try to make each post as long as you can with out well you know taking over. Describe all that you can, have your character interact with their avatars or with your other character. Have your character ask other rp's caracters stuff. No curseing (unless your character got blown up or stubbed his toe or something drastic like that )

Thats about it for me. I'll think of something else to add latter and I am open to suggestions.

Thank you. I put it in here so that I could get feedback and suggestions before starting.

Pardon if I seem pessimistic or anything... but what's the point? I don't quite understand what the thrust of this is supposed to be, though this could just be because I'm a fool. <p>[---------------------------]

Errr lets see. Well theres this raving lunatic that is trying to create his own empire(Redmoon). He hears about Lycone which is supposed to be the kingdom with the strongest army. So he figures that if he can take down Lycone then everywhere else will be a snap. He sends his avatars (which are kinda like pokemon or digimon for lack of a better example) to shake the place up a bit and kidnap the heirs to the throne. This of course dosen't go over well with the king and queen and they decide to send a group to recapture the prince and the princess. The reason why the king and queen do not go is 1. They have to stay back and supervise the rebuilding of the city. 2. Fiends. In short when a person dies their avatars normaly just dissapear but when a person dies in an unnatrual way (i.e. murder or well in this case being bruned alive by dragon fire) their avatars will come back as a fiend and pretty much kill anything around it. A lot of people were killed in the attack so the king and queen stay behind to protect the people.

Also Nev has a good point. You might want to set a few more boundaries than "they can do anything but DESTROY THE WORLD" >.> A few more restrictions and some more organized plot and gming might be needed. n_n; Just a personal observation, but free for all sorts of ordeals don't normally tend to do very well. <p><div style="text-align:center">

Okay. I'll see what i can do. And do keep giving me suggestions its a great help but for now this is what I have.

Each main character must have some skill with a weapon. The main characters can not have magic. There are four main types of avatars white magic users, dark magic users, combat experts and guard dogs.

White magic users like Isis can have a weapon but their main way of defending themselves is with magic. The elements that a white magic user has control of are wind, light, earth, fire and water. They also can have the ability to heal.

Wind: create wind, control wind, call or pick up wind, blast enemies with wind, control the weather

Light: bring light, fix things that have been broken, blast enemies with light, absorb light, create illusions

Earth: move the earth and rocks, cause earthquakes, communicate with the earth, communicate with animals, heal animals

Fire: create fire, either raise or lower temperature (easier to raise than to lower) , blast enemies with fire, surround enemies with fire, call fire form other sources or pick up fire,absorbing heat, morph fire into any shape

Heal: healing injures, placing healing magic in medicines, restoring vitality

A white magic user can have three elements/abilities. A white magic user is weak against physical attacks.

A guard dog like Starchaser has enhanced abilities that allow them to be stronger faster and smarter than a normal animal. They can have three special abilities. (i.e. Starchaser can use the sound of his roar to block attacks, scare or confuse an enemy) A guard dog is weak against magical attacks.

Combat experts like Charon are best at weapons and hand to hand combat and have little or no magic. They can have up to three special abilities/ spells. A combat expert is weak against magical attacks

A dark magic user like Nightingale can have a weapon but their main way of defending themselves is with magic. The elements that a dark magic user has control of are darkness, ice and lightning. Some are even telepathic and others are telekinetic. They also can have the ability to teleport.


Dark: bring darkness, cause explosions, blast enemies with darkness, absorb darkness, turn invisible


Ice: create ice, freeze things. Either raise or lower temperature (easier to lower than to raise), blast enemies with ice, encase enemies in ice, absorb cold, morph ice into any shape

Lightning: create electricity, electrify things, control anything that runs on electricity, blast enemies with electricity, absorb electricity, morph electricity into any shape, magnetize objects

Telekinesis : moving objects with magic

Telepathy: reading the mind with magic, putting people to sleep, controlling peoples mind, seeing the future or the past

Teleport: moving people or objects form place to place with magic

Wow, you have definitely put a lot of thought into the whole system this is going to be based on.

There seems to be a plot, even if it's a big epic, there's technically nothing wrong with it.

The only questions I have:

-How many characters are going to be admitted?
-Is there a limit of 2 avatars per character?
-Are the other player characters just along for support of your main character, or should they prepare to have a hand in changing the plot and action of the group? <p>---------------

Epic? Well I suppose thats not too surprising the vast majority of the books that I read fit into the fantasy, action,adventure category.

Up to two characters and there is a limit of two avatars per character. The other players should be prepared to affect the plot.

I might be interested, but i need to know some things, first of, i would be interested in being a villian, but what is the system exactly, does the elements have to be the ones you said or can you make up your own. And what are the character relationships, these avatars, explain them to me.

The system? Well it is a free style Rp. What elements do you have in mind? I gave gach type of avatar certain elements so that no one can be too powerful. Avatars are supposed to repesent their owners personalitys, one for each side of a person's personality. Avatars protect their owner. I use this term loosely no one can realy own their avatar like they own an object becuse the person and their avatars are conected by their spirits.

well I was thinking, one avatar thats ability is to take an image and make it real, for example, got a drawing of a dragon, it becomes real. So a summoner say. this would represent the creative part of my character. The other would be a master of creatures. Able to summon things from nature to aid him.

Ziratha: So you want Avatars able to summon avatars.

Army, anyone?


Mecegirl: It's a PS game. A strategy game where every character has "Rune Power" which he can use to have monsters under his command. Things like dragons and wyverns to centaurs, pixies, mermen.

I didn't think those would fly. How about a magic user of tarot cards? I've got tarot magic listed under my doll master magician post, and then a magic user of the zodiac? i could come up with some effects based on that.

It would be like your avatar had avatars if it were a summoner. The avatars have the ablity to fight they don't need protectors. The tarot cards could work if they were a magic user and used the elements. But to be able to summon creatures would be too powerful. Now your main character could have an avatar that is a shapeshifter, but it would have to be a white magic and the shapeshifting would be an illusion.
