<FONT FACE="Verdana,Arial" SIZE=2>That's right, I'm considering starting another board RP, despite the fact that every other one I've tried has failed outright!

This particular one that I have in mind would be a Transformers RP. PCs would be Autobots, knowing about stuff from comics and shows would be completely optional, system would be BESM, freestyle, or possibly a modified version of Philsys that I've been cooking up. There will be no minicons, because those are stupid.

Anyone interested at all? Yeah, this would be really fun! But we would have to make custom sheets and the like, I would imagine. But I would definitely take part in this! I want to be a Trashbot. <p>---------------

What about all the Transformers we know and love (and already had been created)? Chances are you would not "assign" them to PCs, unless they are suitably minor, correct?

That would mean all new Transformers. How would these new guys fit into the "world" (more like universe) and timeline of the Transformers series? <p>

No pre-established characters will make an appearance, except maybe once at the very beginning. How they fit in to the "world/universe/timeline" is irrelevent, as I haven't even decided if it's going to be using the Marvel G1 timeline or the Dreamwave G1 timeline.

EDIT: Junkion. Also, the dinobots have always been inteligent (except Sludge), Grimlock just has a speech impediment. <p>

Aw, alright. So one more thing that others may be wondering, what are the limitations on making our own custom 'bots? <p>---------------

Haven't quite decided. It would help if you were a bit more specific in what you mean by "limitations", but eh. Post again if what you were wondering isn't on this list.

- No super-huge monstrous thing. By "super huge", I'm of course refering to things like Omega Supreme, Metroplex, Trypticon, Skorponok, and Fortress Maximus.
- No Gestalts of more than three bots. Yes, that means that if you can work out a nice theme with two other people, you can have yourselves a combiner! Keep in mind the mental limitations of the things, though.
- I am completely undecided on the issue of Headmasters/Targetmasters/Powermasters. If you really want one and make up a good character for it, I'd probably let it slide. Same thing with Pretenders.
- Triplechangers are kosher, but try to do it in such a way that isn't godmoding.
- Minibots (not minicons, minibots, you smarmy bastard) are also allowed, though I have no idea who would want one.
- I really have no idea what else you might be refering to, so if you have a more specific question, feel free to ask it.

- Actually, one more thing. No one gets the Prime Matrix. Though I think that's common sense.


EDIT: Haha! One more thing! Characters don't have to have an Earth alt mode if the don't want one (examples: Springer, Arcee, Kup, Ultra Magnus, etc.). In fact, the RP probably won't be taking place on Earth at all, so...yeah. If you really want an Earth alt mode, though, feel free! Wow, this edit wasn't very helpful. <p>

Would "Autobots" include Junkions and the dinobots? Or can we go with any general "Good guy?"

Dinobots have always been Autobots, so yes. Also, Junkions are included.

New rule! Characters aren't allowed to have idiotic names like "Dumpstikon" or whatever the hell wkz just said.
