Ignore what I previously had up here. That plot point would actually work better in the future.

THAT SAID. While not much is known, there was clearly a very noisy battle not too long ago in which a number of poeple, including Astrynax, Janda, Kyle, and Ara, were forced to fight off the menace of people calling themselves Fencer-jin. And while victory was eventually obtained, it came at a heavy price: both Astrynax and Erech were killed in the midst of the battles.

A being referring to itself as "a brother of Kelne's" has sent messages out to Enlil, Kelne himself, Kyle (who, due to some serious injuries sustained, may yet require further rest), and Ara, as well as anyone who wishes to come along or has particular interest in either Astrynax or Erech. It is said that this "brother of Kelne" has a plan for dealing with their deaths... as well as following up on the Fencer-jin, one of whom managed to survive.

NOW. Post characters you have that may be interested in such a matter! <p>

Takorou: Look here. It's a word used to refer to everyone: old, young, man, and woman. "Rou-nyaku-nan-nyo". But you would say "rou-nyaku-nan-nyo-nyo". Here's another one. In Italy, there's a region called Bologna. You would say, "Bologna-nyo". In Buddhism, there's a word called "nyorai", but you'd say "nyorai-nyo". Could you stop saying, "nyo"?
Dejiko: No-nyo. I don't plan to stop-nyo. Go somewhere else-nyo.</p>Edited by: Crawling Reshiki at: 9/25/04 5:35 pm

Maxwell (and likely Karin, Lys's character) would be interested in learning one of their family members died. ... The blind woman's going to be out of her little mind too.

... Thing is, I'm not up for this RP long term, unless something dramatic here changes my mind fairly soon. <p>

Despite the temptation to return the letter with 'Not known at this address' (In his own handwriting), Kelne will be there. I may also consider adding in a stowaway... <p>KnightsofSquare: DarkLordKelne is a tomboy bunnygirl, jealous of the business successes of her 37 older brothers, she is pursuing her own business degree in hopes of someday initiating a hostile takeover against her brothers' corporations.</p>

If you meant you are thinking up a new character for the stowaway, then cool..

But if you were looking for another player to BE the stowaway, I am totally down for that. However, I have no characters that know anything at all about Fencer-jins. <p>---------------

"Well slap a dead fish on me and call me Molokidan!"</p>

Yep, Karin's definitely going to get involved. Her kid's gone kaput.

The blind angry lady may or may not be useful, but she will certainly swear a lot.

We're going to do a bit of board stuff on this. Get posting, you gits.

Hey folks, if this dies, I'm not going to do anything about it. It's your responsibility to post. If you don't post, then Erech remains dead, and this series of events won't be fleshed out. Ever. Just so you know. <p>
