RPGWW

Hello to you all. I'm sandtrails and I was looking around for an RPG to join and stumbled into this forum site. I've played online RPs before but they were all done through Livejournal so I'm really not all too familiar with the ones involving forums. If anyone could give me a heads up on how to do it, it would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I do realize this is a bit of a silly question to ask, but if I see I game I'm interested in, do I just post and start playing or apply to it somehow...?

And if any of you know any good games that are going on that are in need of players, I'd absolutely love to join. ^.~

I'm quite new here myself, but from the responses I had, you might want to do the following:
1) Click on the picture above that says "RPGWW". You'll get to a website which contains resources for this forum. Especially look up Gaera (the "official" world of RPGWW). Also, if you are interested in all kinds of RP number/stats systems, look up the PhillSys. Its RPGWW's official system of play.
2) Look through "A RANT. About RPs. All new to forum, please READ THIS FIRST." over at the OOC forum. Also related: look through most sticked threads if they sound official and full of tips
3) (My own advice, some may disagree) Lurk the old stuff, and some of the new. You'll get the general mood and playing style that is available here. In general, (according to feedback I got, you have to ask around) RPGWW is about character interaction rather than casting 20 firestorm spells in a row.

Thanks for the heads up! I was stupid not to notice the link above on information about the games here and was desperately raiding through the site to see which part of the forum might have it. *frowns*

Just curious, are you currently apart of anyone well run games that you could tell me a little about?

The GM over at "Offbase Free Style RP" has just expressed his wish for new members. It is not set in Gaera thou.

Just look in the OOC section. Most of the storylines are either very old and closed, or episode X and closed (darn it). One will come up eventually, just wait a few days (as I did)....

Yeah, not many new RPs starting right now... might have to wait.
