The title of the thread is pretty much what i want to say. I wish I was a bigger part of Kate and Adam's war but I do like how it was possible to react to it even though I was there.

So I'm wondering if there could be another large baddie someplace else. Not only because there would be complaints about Doma but it'd be cliche to have the same bad things happening in one place.

So does anyone have any ideas on that kind of thing? <p>

Well... My board RP "A Darkness Rising" is all about a big baddie turning up in Baron. If there was interest from both my current players and the rest of the board, I could be persuaded to convert it into something that could incorporate everyone. <p><div style="text-align:center">

All I'm saying is, in reality, I don't think really big events happen so close together.

But hey, nothing saying it can't, so, if you have a really good idea, go for it.

You know this "it doesn't happen in the real world" thing bothers me because we're doing fantasy for a reason. It's kind of boring IRL, I dunno about you guys. I've played all FF games regardles of how close or far apart they've been. Putting a real life aspect to a game makes it less fun in my opinion because people get too attached and slip into a rut of normalcy fairly easily but that's my opinion. <p>

I think that a big event could work.

I also agree with Shini. Barius already has a crazy bad guy we can use. Plus, I could play Boris :D <p>_________________

The problem with isolating a world-scale event to Barius is obvious--it's not world-scale.

However, if you come up with something that makes it world scale...

I am, of course, totally behind any movement in this direction. <p>

Actually, I had something planned for Inustan. A silver-rush. Not sure when I would start it, and hopefully Pervitos would help. Because I'm alright at things. Just not big things.
