A change of plans. DnD Survivor style.

After debating the problems on character level in my previous idea and so on. I would like to try something people have talked about; myself included, but, to my knowledge, has never been done.

That is, as the subject line implies a Survivor style DnD game. This will include everything reward challenges, immunity challenges (for the first couple of games at least, then you're on your own).

Those of you unfamiliar with Survivor it's simple. The earlier stages of the game will have to be bypassed, unless I can get like eight or more people interested in this. Basically you're trapped in some undesirable place (to which I will determine later) every two days there is a reward challenge. This is an event where everyone competes against each other for some kind of reward, in this case probably a magic item or....like food or something.

Two days after that you have another competition, this is done in the same way as the Reward Challenge, however this time you win immunity from being voted off. Later that day there is a voting ceremony, which is done as a secret ballot. Whoever is voted off, immediately leaves the group and is gone.

In my version though, there will be a couple of differences. One, if someone has died since the last voting ceremony, then there is no need to vote. Two, the person who is voted off, takes all their equipment with them. However, if someone is dead and there body is recovered, it is free to be looted.

That's about all you'll need to know.

For character creation, your character will be level 2+d4. I realize that this will cause a level gap, but if you're lower level, then you had better out think and out wit your team-mates/opponents. No Psionics and that is about the only restriction I will be putting on characters, besides the ones in the books. If you can reach a prestige class you can be that prestige class, if you want to be chaotic evil, if you want to be a Yuan-ti, I don't care. However, nothing from the Monstrous Races book, but from the Monster Manual is fine.

Equipment will be restricted; you'll probably get a number of gold based off your class. Your starting gold will be sparse though, VERY sparse. And keep in mind that spell casters require certain things to cast spells, and the only thing you will start with is a set of Adventurers Clothes.

Anyways, who is interested? I'll need a minimum of six people to start.

As mentioned in chat, I'm interested. Just a quick question, though; will this be using 3.0 or 3.5 rules?

Sounds kinda interesting. I could go for it.

I could go for this as well. I'd need to know when (and where, though I assume chat) we'd be doing this.

3.0 or 3.5 work for me though the question is valid. So which one boss?

I'm interested as well. I'm hoping it's a board RP.
-----

Yes this will be chat.

As for versions, well. My PHB is 3rd edition and my DMG and MM are both 3.5. So....sorta both.

Hmm... this could be interesting, so count me in. Just make sure to tell me beforehand when you want to start, please. Don't want to have to make any last-minute escapes or anything like that.
