This was recently made on the fly in a chat RP. I consider it to be the Ashuran version of the Lord's Prayer. (Our Father, who art in heaven, yadda yadda yadda...) Use it as you see fit.
Oh Holy Ashura, holder of heaven, hear my prayer.
Give us today what we need and love! Our breath, our food, our friendships!
Rule on Gaera as you do in the heavens! With sovereignty and mercy!
Redeem us for our wrongdoing, as we ask redemption for wrongdoers!
For yours is all our world, and those who dwell in it!
So let it be! ^_^
As recited by Bulworth.
--------------------

Chuck is 24 seconds late. :(
Also, that is...uh...almost identical to the Lord's Prayer.

Yeah, praying as a whole isn't that hard. And if you really feel uncomfortable with it, you can pull any number of more obscure prayers from online and edit them.

Granted, I don't mind how it is. But if you WANT it to be unique, there's ways to do so...like SkD has a good one. You can pick and choose (editted) lines from different prayers, as well.

Orinthal told me to put this here so shoot him.
And shepherds we shall be,
for thee my Lord for thee,
Power hath descended forth from thy hand,
that our feet may swiftly carry out thy command,
we shall flow a river forth to thee,
and teeming with souls shall it ever be.
In nomine patrie,et fili et spiritu sancti.

Yay for Bob! :D!
Also, if you can't modify that to be an OFFICIAL ASHURAN PRAYER OMG, then I figure it can be changed into one for Resh.

Say, Cha, does Ashura ever come down to earth in human form?

I get the impression rarely. I think he's busy trying to sort out the business of corruptness in his church. If he did appear often, that might put a damper on some of the Ashuran priests who think they're Gaeran incarnations of Ashura.

She, Dia. The Gaeran and classical incarnations of Ashura (or Asherah, which is the original spelling) are female.
Also, about the prayer, for one, I didn't have a lot of time for this. Amanda asked me to make one up on the fly, and I just went with one that people are likely to memorize, and covered all the spiritual bases. I didn't have time to be clever.
--------------------

Aw. I guess that mean Raile can't have sex with her, then. ;_;
Anyway, I think the prayer works fine. It's not as if it really needs to be original, it just needs to be there for referance. And there can be other Ashuran prayers.

Not in it's current form, no, as it would be ripped straight from Boondock Saints, and still has that whole christian thing going with the last line. Might change it, but not right now. :(
