Just to inform everyone that Klaus managed to make his "windball". Expect funny, but disruptive results if the fight ends before he can use it ( right now the fight seems to be going in that direction... )

Yeah, a very menacing guy indeed.

I'll illustrate my next update, which should be around 12 noon (Pacific time). We'll be moving to the confrontation shortly.

Erm..... you better do that a little later... The Wind-Sphere's going to go -Kaboom- preety soon, unless you veto it.

edit: I have left Klaus's actions open-ended, so that you can choose the final action. You can choose from the 2 senerios below:

) Worse case senerio, think: "Hollywood Special Effects 101: All Windows in Room Blow-up Outwards in a Big Explosion". Note: all the force will be directed outwards (thanks to Klaus), although the room will end up looking like a hurricane's home.

) Another Worse case senerio: Klaus was distracted while making that Wind-Sphere, and it did not even have a charge to begin with. Therefore making Klaus look like a fool, shouting stuff like "Everyone Down!!!" for no reason at all

Sorry guys, been a rough two weeks. I moved and did not have a chance to even go to the library to access the internet before going on a trip. I am back though and will insert myself back in when given the okay.
---------------Celeste of Elvenhame ---------------

Great. I was afraid you'd disappeared or something equally frightening. The hunters are currently being assigned positions for the night, guarding the house. Feel free to re-enter anytime.

Nah, just an oversight on my part not making time to make my short enforced absence known. I won't get a chance to check again until monday or tuesday after this, feel free to work around me as needs be. I will have full internet access and such back sometime Wednesday.
---------------Celeste of Elvenhame ---------------

Yet another question

Unread postby wkz » Mon Apr 26, 2004 3:06 am

I am getting confused. And the reason is the positioning of the players...

What have been written is:

1) The room guarded is in the shadow, near the forest. Night's early then, so its west of the manor.
2) Forest, if not surrounding the manor at all sides, is at least towards west of the manor.
3) Klaus is in front.
4) Trigger's on the roof, facing west (?)
5) Quote: "Dovev took up his position outside Mona’s door, and Zakara stayed inside with the young girl"
6) Sybil's left and back of the manor
7) Meryle's right and back of the manor (suggesting Klaus is also around the right forward)

And the questions are:
1) What direction is the manor pointing? (which direction is 'forward')
2) (you answer the above = you answer this one) Which side of the manor is the target room?
3) I assume there's a Big Guy, but are there 2 groups of zombies? (Trigger and Klaus most likely are looking in different directions)

Does sound confusing. The manor's entrance faces North, and there's a long, cleared trail leading up to it, about thirty feet wide, which runs all the way out of the forest (a long way). I believe Klaus is at the entrance, NORTH, Sybil is at the corner of the right side and the back side (by direction), SOUTHEAST, and Meryle is on the LEFT side, WEST.

The target room is in the NORTHEAST corner, so there's a window on the north side and the east side. I assume Trigger's facing North, since that'd be where an attack would most likely originate from.

For my next post, I'll draw a floorplan so this makes more sense. Sorry for the confusion. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

wkz

Wait a min, that doesn't sound right??

Unread postby wkz » Mon Apr 26, 2004 2:39 pm

Sorry to bug you again, but the floorplan's all wrong (at least for a whole group of semi-inexperienced hunters)

Even after taking out all my description of the place and the room is facing west (Klaus may have found the wrong room), having the triangle protect the WRONG side of the manor (concentrated towards the west instead of east) is just..... plain wrong.....

To recap:
North, South-East and West is guarded, leaving nobody anywhere near NORTHEAST (the target room)

Quote:
Sybil was on the ground, struggling with Grippy, as Klaus landed near them. The zombie dripped old fluids from its cracked, hanging jaw. “Sooooo…. Soft…..” Sybil rammed her knee into Grippy’s crotch, and it broke like glass, pieces of molding skin and bone falling to the grass. Grippy sighed, “Welllll, not likkkke I was goinnnnng to usssse that anyyyyywayyy…”

By the way, I don't know why but that struck me as funny enough for a 15 minute laugh.
---------------Celeste of Elvenhame ---------------

Yeah, well, in his life, Grippy was impotent, so he didn't make much use of... nevermind. I suggest you try attacking him in a way that would work on the undead. He can't really be KILLED, maybe you should concentrate on dismembering him.

Don't worry. I'm enjoying this RP way too much to let something like direction get to me.

'Thou I WILL quibble and nag you about it, and any other errors Image

(Goes off and find other ways to poke the GM. Found one in fact)

Oh.... I guess Trigger's gun is THE multi-shot rifle or distance-shooting shotgun from hell. That picture of yours seems to suggest more than one bullet per shot...

(Goes off with evil laughter..... MUHAHAhahahahaha~~~)

sybil is doing what she can yo. She does have a couple hundred pounds of dead weight on top of her....literally. dismembering is kind of hard in that position.
(hence the reason for attempting to break bones...break the structure and it will make it harder for the zombie to move, easier for her to get the damn thing off her)

Zombies have never been really dangerous, as long as there's only four and not one hundred.

Erm... Just one zombie which managed to grab you is trouble enough. They look like they are rotting, but they also have magical undead strength more than an average human's.

That means Resident Evil is a cop-out. The number of times the leads managed to shake off the zombies are unbelievable ...

Resident Evil Zombie's are Uber-zombies. They are zombies powered by Deus Ex Machina. Do not doubt them.
------
