Modern UA game, interestcheck

Unread postby PriamNevhausten » Sun Sep 25, 2005 1:02 am

In continuing my habits of doing too many things at once, I'd like to get a feel for an amount of participation that might be garnered for something that I've been kind of rolling over in my head for the past two weeks or more. BW was in a game that I tried to start over at my pad a year and some ago that ended horribly due to a combination of low-attendance issues and a complete lack of planning on my part. I really want to continue the ideas that I did have for it, though, and BW seems to have enjoyed what little gaming actually happened, so I figure a good way to fix this business up is to continue and/or restart it here, as a chat-based RP.

This game, when it starts, will be set in a modern day timeframe. I will be using the Unknown Armies system, for which I will provide the basic ruleset once character creation time comes along--know it's a percentile-dice system purely and completely, with open-ended skill classification, and only four main character stats. For those of you who have heard me ramble about the Stress Gauges, those will be omitted for simplicity's sake.

As I mentioned, this would take place in chats, though my schedule may make this a little difficult. Sessions may be run any day from noon until about 4pm EST, roughly, or if a late-night crowd seems to be the tendency then it is possible to run at times more akin to starting at 1am EST. For these reasons, I note that I am not averse to running this weekly on one of the weekend days. If you are interested, please let me know which sort of timeframe would be of primary interest to you. <p><span style="font-size:xx-small;">"It's in the air, in the headlines in the newspapers, in the blurry images on television. I am interested! During the week, within Zero's timeframe, I can handle after 7 on! Wednesday and Friday. I can also go much earlier and later on Fridays.

Saturday and Sunday are open ended, much like Zero, except that on Sunday I'd like to be asleep before 3 AM. Friday and Saturday that's not so much of a problem. <p>

I might harass you sometime for more information on the system. What I've seen is interesting. <p>-------------------------
