Slushing Around In The Cold (Elemaer freestyle rp)

So, Spleen has created the new world of Elemaer and has allowed me to use it as a setting for this RP. I thought, since I enjoy RPing so much, why not try my hands at GMing.

Ginder is an Aeroten ranked member of the Order of Air (Note: the ranks in the Order of Air are as follows from lowest to hightest: Initiate, Blitzar, Tornda, Dianze, Aeroten, and Stormbringer.) One very very cold day in the dead of winter, Elemaer (the planet) stopped rotating. While one side slowly began to roast, the other side began to slowly freeze over. The great city of As'nar, unfortunately, was on the freezing side. The order of Air, as well as the other Orders, were sent a message from the Order of Light. Their artifact had been stolen by powerful demons, who had hidden it somewhere in As'nar and within the countryside. Their artifact has the power to keep Elemaer rotating, but only when it is on it's pedestal in the Temple of Light. (Note: I will write in the artifact's name as soon as I find out what it is called from Spleen.) So far, only the Order of Air has responded to the order's plea for help, as the other Orders are busy tending to their own problems. Ginder has been chosen to lead the group, saying as though his best friend, Haltin, was killed by one of the demons while trying to stop them from getting away with the artifact in the Great Market.

Ok, for this RP I will be taking four people, including myself. I would like to have one other Aeroten ranked member, and two Dengto ranked members. (Note: Dengto is a rank in the Order of Light that is equivalent to the Aeroten.) <p>_____________

Where do I find the descriptions of the lands of Elemaer? Also, what kind of RP is this going to be?

Ok, descriptions of Elemaer... Me and Spleen are in the process of making a website that details teh info on Elemaer, but as of right now, I can only give you the bitis and peices that Spleen has told me.

Elemaer was created by six gods: Krad, god of fire, Laetha, god of wind, Trixor, god of water... and the rest Spleen never bothered to tell me about, but won't really matter much in this RP. Elemaer is inhabited by two sentient beings, Elemaerans, who resemble humans, and Demons. The Elemaerans make up the minority of the population, and the majority of the Elemaeran population resides in the Great City fo As'nar, which was built by the gods. Now, Each god has a temple of worshippers, and these worshippers have been given the power of magic by the gods. They are the only elemaerans that can use magic. The gods gave them this magic to use in the vanquishing of the demons on Elemaer, but they never really get around to the vanquishing part.

The Gods: There are six of them, but only five of them have any actual position as a god. The god of darkness was banished and stripped of his position when he began collaborating with demons. Also, the Temple of Darkness dissappeared, sent away to an unknown place. The members of the order of Darkness are sterile, one of their punishments for following the God of Darkness, so in order to get more people in the order of Darkness, they go into As'nar and steal the babies of others.

The Temples: The five that are still around have very strong alliances with one other, and despise others. The Orders of Fire and Air have a very strong alliance with each other, while the Orders of Earth and Water have a strong alliance. As you can guess, thse two alliancs despise each other. The Order of Light is in good relation with all existing Temples in As'nar. Each temple was built by the corresponding god. The temple of Fire was a humongous river of molten lava surrounding it when in times of attack. The Order of Air can lift high up into the air, and the Order of Water is on the middle of an island. The Order of Earth has quicksand surrounding it when they need it to, and the Order of Light has a huge beacon on the top that can light up and blind the approaching army (I think, Spleen never went into detail about the Order of Light.)

That is the extent of my knowledge on Elemaer, although any other information you need, you can always ask Spleen when he gets back, or I can ask him for you. As for you other question, it'll be an offworld freestyle RP.

Freaking consult me if you're going to do a thing like this. And I fully intend to co-GM, because you're running on incomplete knowledge, as shown by these
CORRECTIONS:

You're missing a rank in the Order of Air. There's supposed to be seven, counting Initiate.

And where in the hell did you get "Dengto"?

The God of Water is Trixer, with an E. The remaining gods are Verir (Earth), Alexairea (Light), and Su'riik (exiled God of Darkness).

Demons aren't native to Elemaer, and they don't outnumber humans by any means. Monsters, the creation of demons, do. They basically cover all the lands that aren't on the continent of Gadur-Kir, where As'nar is.

And what do you mean they never got around to vanquishing? I showed you the map, with the huge spots on other continents that the humans are fighting for.

As'nar doesn't have most of the population, just the highest population density. Like New Jersey.

The gods have more than just the worshippers in their Temples. There's followers all over, they're just concentrated and based in As'nar.

If the Temple of Darkness is anywhere, it's Ar'tok, the world of demons. No one's sure if it actually exists anymore, though.

Su'riikans aren't just sterile, they're also cold-blooded, colorblind, short-lived, and prone to cancers.

The Orders don't despise one another. They're just not all friendly with eachother...except Air and Earth, there's enmity there.

All the defense fortifications listed are temporary...the Order of Fire only turns the area around its Temple into lava when it needs it. <p>-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_

Here's the description of Elemaer as posted to What is Lost OOC, with some minor revisions.

Elemaer is a planet with approximately the same size as Earth (but a little closer to its sun, making it usually warmer). It is governed by the five Highest Gods, who each have an element they oversee. Krad is the god of fire, Trixer is the god of water, Verir is the god of earth, Laetha is the goddess of air, and Alexairea is the goddess of light. There was originally a god of darkness, Su'riik, but he aligned himself with the demons of Ar'tok against his siblings and was stripped of his position (but not of his power) by the other five. Each god or goddess has their own Order that worships them. In return, the god gives the members of his or her order great power to do the bidding of the gods with. Each of these Orders is based in a temple in the great city of As’nar, the center of worship, culture, and government for the entire civilized portion of Elemaer (which isn’t much, as so many powerful monsters roam the wild lands. These Orders are essential to the safety and prosperity of the people of Elemaer, so essential that it would surprise the reader to note that about half of one percent of all Elemaerans are members of one of the Elemental Orders. These .5% (that’s a number in the ten thousands, mind you) are the top .5 percent of the world in wisdom and strength, and the only humans with the power to use magic. While based in the same city, the Orders don’t always get along with one another. Currently, Fire has a solid alliance with Air, an easy peace with Light, and a fragile non-aggression with Earth and Water. Air gets along well enough with Light and Water, but tensions between it and Earth are high. Light is at peace with all the other Orders and has a formal alliance with Water. Earth has been trying to pull its ally Water into the conflict between it and Air, currently to no avail. <p>-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_

Right, ok, Im pretty sure I told you I was doing this before, plus I did mention that the info was incomplete and that I would consult you on any problems, and one more thing, about dengto, i did ask you for the ranks in the order of light, but you never got around to it, and you told me to come up with them, so I did, but thank you for clearing some of these things up. <p>_____________

The current Chosen Gazer is Haki Udiye. Unless all the other Orders, the Order of Light holds elections every five years for the new Chosen Gazer.
