Just to see if it was possible I decided, at Kates urgings, make a DF character in the GURPS world. Now while the results were not perfect the point value was....astronomical. I did it. The only sources used were GURPS Lite, GURPS Supers, and Brians vast stores of GURPS knowledge. To give any non-GURPS player an idea your average run of the mill person is 25 points and your standard hero is around 100.

Now then:

That's it... I SO need to get more GURPS books.

What are the chances of me being in a GURPS RP with just the core rules?
---
You travel from system to system in the ships you create, colonizing worlds and creating new technologies. These are things that every sensible person wants to do.

If someone were running one in the first place, they'd be pretty damned high, assuming space wasn't limited to the point where you couldn't participate.
