Name: Dharian
Height: 6'1

Age: Somewhere between 28 - 35

Dharian was abandoned when he was very young, and knew nothing but his first name, and his mother's first name. He grew up on the streets, making his living as a thief. He had no family that he knew of, but he had made a few friends. Despite this, Dharian seemed to be very friendly, as long as he wasn't stealing from you. ;)
On the occasional rainy night he took up residence in Inn's with coppers and gold he had pocketed. Many people knew him, and befriended him, but no-one really knew where he came from. No-one really asked either.
He wasn't quite sure when he was abandoned (providing why he isn't quite sure of his age) but it was somewhere between the ages of 3 and 7. Dharian is fairly outgoing, but can be a bit shadowy before he gets to know you.

Hobbies ~ Reading, Sparring, Writing.
Favourites ~ Dharian enjoys Spring season over the others, (correct me in this, I really don't know whether or not there are seasons here.) because of its weather variations. He'll anything he can, but isn't especially fond of cheese. He favours the staff over other weapons.
Talents/Abilities ~ Adept in Theft, Stealth Tactics, Staff Skills

I do have a question, or rather, a request about this-

Could you define "Master Theif" in this case? I can think of a few different 'types' of 'master theives' off the top of my head. <p>

In other words, is he the sneaky-sneaky-bust-through-locks-and-sneak-past-guards-like-they're-not-there type, or the ha-ha-I-snatch-your-wallet-and-bust-through-traps-like-they're-not-there type? <p>

It's really hard to master something like that without decades of practice >_>

he has been living on the streets for 23+ years.... I'd say thats decades?
And I suppose he's the break-into-buildings-and-seem-like-he's-not-there type. Or, the wallet snatcher one.

I used it because I hadn't seen any theives on RPGWW, and because he isn't stereotypical.

Thieves? No. We have rogues, which are like thieves with a profession :D

Mostly because thief characters have a hard time not pissing other people off.

Also note it doesn't always take a life time to master such skills as London Lads were doing it all the time on the streets in Victorian times, Damnable stret rats that they were. And half of em were only ten.

Cho: Mostly because street crime of the era was very specialized. And I wouldn't say that the kids then were masters. Skilled, but not master.

alright, fine, I'll change it. I was just implying that he had mastered the art of theft, not that he was a master at anything. I'll add some more stuff, too, while I'm at it.

Also: Maybe it's just me, but I think it's bad to classify someone as a "Master" anything. It implies some sort of direct superiority.
