"Well I don't have anything", Leo said with a shrug, before turning to Pat. "What about you?"

"N'much else, though if we need to come back, we can use the excuse of needing to get something from the music store. Might as well head on home," the catgirl replied, ambling over to the bench.

Archie nodded, likewise making his way over to the bench to wait for the bus.

Pat and Archie make themselves comfortable, not too far from the be-shaded man. Archie notes that this man seems to be shivering a bit; odd that it's actually rather compsrtable out today.

Also, Leo's cellphone begins to ring.

Leo pulls the phone out of his pocket, and looks to see if he recognises the number.

He does not recognize the whole thing, but the extension is definately MAC's.

Odd, he thought. However, he went ahead and answered the call anyways.

"Hello?"

"Yes is Mr Stone with the main office at MAC," answers a neutral-sounding voice. "A miss Amelia McDougal wanted us to pass along that Rallison Mewf had just ended up in the Hospital Ward here. Apparently...uh...an engine fell on her or something. Don't know what's up with that, sorry. The healers were able to patch her up, so she just has to recuperate a bit."

"She what?!" After it registered that Rally was completely safe and sound, though, Leo took a deep breath, and began to calm down. "Okay, okay...thanks for telling me what happened. Is there anything else she wanted to say?"

"Yeah, she'll be hanging around the hospital ward for awhile, and wants to meet you guys at MAC. Gave me a cell number for you. Let me dig it up."

He reads the number off a few times, so Leo has more than enough time to get it.

"Right, right. Thanks again."

Leo lowered the phone, and turned to Pat and Archie. "Hey guys, Amelia's waiting for us in the hospital ward. Rally had an accident, and she's there with her."

"How bad an accident?" Archie asked worriedly. He didn't know Rally that well, but she'd seemed alright.

"The guy said that an engine fell on her or something like that. The healers fixed her up pretty good, though, so she's okay...all that she needs now is some rest."

"Ow..." Rally mewed. Even if she couldn't feel all of what hurt, she could feel a LOT of what hurt...

She grumbled to herself. "That'll teach me to pay attention..."

It occurred to her that the staff might want to know she was conscious now, and saw the nurse in the corridor.

"Um, excuse me? Excuse me, ma'am? Are you there?"

"An engine?" Archie shook his head, "How do these sorts of things happen? Anyway, I suppose we'll know more when we get back."

"Oh, you're up!" Says an inujin woman in white attire, as she pokes her head into Rally's room. "How're you feeling? The healers had a time with your shoulder, I hear."

Amelia will also be hearing this, as she is only slightly down the hall from said Inujin.

"I'm OK. Still hurting, where I can feel it. How long have I been sleeping?"

"You've been out about an hour and a half now." The Inujin smiles, "I guess you're used to it, eh?"

Rally's shoulder's twitch slightly, but you can just barely count it as a shrug. "I guess..."

Then finally the nasty taste in Rally's mouth was noticed. "Do you think I can get a drink of water?"

In the back of her head, she wanted to get it herself, but she had NO idea where her chair was...

Oh no! Or in what condition!...

Amelia, upon hearing the voices, perked up a bit, and trotted in.

"Hiii, Rally! Are you feeling okay!?"

It seems no one told her to continue being quiet within the hospital.

"Keep it down, dearie," says the Inujin. "And get you friend a class of water from the sink over there."

"Ooooohhhhh...Sorry." Amelia replied, before heading out into the hall again and searching out a water cooler.

Rally laughed to herself a bit. Good old Amelia...

But now her thoughts were tinged with doubt. She was REALLY worried about....

"Uh, miss? Where's my chair? I really can't remember what happened to it..."

A bus eventually comes for the trio in the bad side of town, picking up them and the man with the shakes, who seemed more than happy not to talk with or look at them at all.

Now they need only decide when to get off.

Amelia finds and fetches water with ease.

"Oh, it's in the shop," the Nurse answers, "The McDougals are paying for the repairs. Not a clue when it'll get done. But don't worry, we have a spare for you. I'll go fetch it."

Leaving before Rally could come up with a fetch pun, she returns quickly enough with a more standard wheelchair. It is motorized, at least, but doesn't seem to have many extra bells and whistles to it.

Pat went for the window seat. Even if the view wasn't great... well, she had a bit of a childish urge for it anyway.

She hadn't really been paying attention to the talk of Rally's accident, for cogs and wheels were busily cranking in her head. And there wasn't TOO much smoke from this.

How the heck do they get recruits if they're hard to find? she wondered. Maybe should check the Web, do a few searches....

Rally sighed. "It'll have to do... gimme a hand gettin' in?"

"Alright," says the Inujin nurse. "Just keep try to keep still."

In short order, the surprisingly strong nurse has manuevered Rally in a replacement chair with a minimum of aches on Rally's part.

Archie leaned back in his seat and gave the matter some thought. The trip probably hadn't been a total waste, but they really didn't know anything more about the Absolutionists. Still, they'd seen their hideout, and hopefully they'd be able to get their hands on some floor plans.

He just hoped they'd know more by the time they were ready to go.

While he was lost in thought to a certain extent, Archie did remember to keep an eye out for their stop.

Ana's bus arrived at the school, and she got off. She knew that she would have to talk to a professor, hopefully a lenient one. But first, to her dorm room.

After a short walk, she wound up at her room. Entering, she heard a voice from within. "Ana, is that you?" Ana smiled. That would be Tanaka, her nekojin roommate. "Yeah, I'm here. Why? Do you need any cans opened?" This, of course, was referring to the fact that despite Tanaka being a swift and mighty mecha pilot, a powerhouse in Groove Groove Uprising, and a culinary expert, she could not use a can-opener to save her life.

Tanaka smirked. "No, sorry. Anyway, where have you been?"

"I was checking up on that Sirius Cybernetics job on the board."

"So, did you get it?"

"Yes."

"What's it about?"

"Sorry, that's secret. Proprietary information and all. Why didn't you go when you heard about it?"

"I already have a job."

Ana stuck out her tongue. "Anyway, I have a meeting with a professor. I'll talk to you later!"

"Have fun."

And with this, Ana left for the faculty section of the campus.

"Oh. Wow. Thanks." Rally said with a stunned look. She had never seen a nurse so strong in her life. Most of them have to do things one body part at a time. Impressed was precisely the right word.

So, let's see how this thing moves... she said to herself, and placed her hand, with some effort, on the main directional control...

Ana heads off to the Faculty area. Soon, she arrives there and finds a few of them putting a public lounge to use. A couple she recognizes. One is a tall, thin man who teaches the basic programming classes, a friendly sort by the name of Mr. Earls. He seems to be grading papers, whilst speaking periodically with someone Ana does not recognize. The other is a giantess hailing from Therney by the name of Miss Langstaff, who teaches a variety of the academy's history courses. Whilst stern, she is known to be reasonable. Presently, she kneels upon the floor, resting herself upon one of the couches whilst her legs go under it. She seems to be looking at some sort of paper; possibly reports.

Archie, Leo, and Pat arrive back at campus without trouble. They are free to go where they desire, and continue their preparations or goof off.

Rally finds her chair responds well enough. It's not hot stuff, but it's sufficient.

As Rally was helped into her chair, Amelia skipped over to the machine and grabbed a cup of water. Infact, to be on the safe side, she decided ot grab three. Making her way back as quickly as possible (Without trying to spill any on herself), she entered the room again. "I've got water!"

And so, Leo begins making his way to the medical area, assuming the others would follow along.

Archie, having similar goals to Leo in this instance, followed along.

Ana looked over at the professors she recognized. Those ones, while she is friendly with them, she realizes they don't really have any control over checking out mecha. Therefore, with just a wave, she passed them for now. Perhaps she would come back later.

Ana begins to wonder if she should go directly to the Mecha bay.

Those going to the Medical ward find themselves arriving just in time to see Amelia slip back into Rally's room with the water.

"Hey!"

Quickening his pace, Leo followed her to the room.

Hearing Leo shout, Amelia poked her head back out of the door. "Hey! It's you guys! Just so you know, you've gotta be quiet in here!"

"I'll remember," Archie said, "How's Rally doing?"

"Uhh...Not toooo baaaad...Considering an engine beaned her upside the head...?" Amelia replied, nervously.
