"Mm...."

Pat reflected over Archie's comments.

"If we're getting back Kitty in a week, infiltration would be a bit slow. Let's just check out some more information before we make any decisions, alright?"

Saying so, she gave a hop to peek over the desk, before glancing at the others.

"Just to keep things straight, all of us are planning to be involved, right?"

Rally nodded. "I'm in!"

This is going to be interesting, to say the least...

Leo remained silent and pensive for a moment, going over everything he just heard. Terrorist organizations, secret missions, stolen technology...none of this is what he expected when he first heard about the contract.

It would be so easy, to just walk out now, save his hide, and forget all about this...

...but if he did, could he ever live with the regret? Could he just take what could be a once in a lifetime offer, and toss it out the window?

It isn't just safety that's on the line. There's also pride.

"...count me in," responded the youth.

Archie nodded, "I'm in," he said simply. If any of them went, he felt, they should allgo.

"Yeah, I'm coming!" Amelia stated, stepping down from her chair. "After all, we've all gotta do what we've gotta do, right?"

Which the group spoke, Eliza set the map to print out, and searched through her desk.

"I must say, its quite the sight to see you lot in action. When you're ready, It would be nice of you to sign the contract." Said contract is placed on the edge of her desk, along with a pen.

Brom just seems to be growing mildly irritated at things.

Leo was the first to take the contract. However, instead of signing it right away, he reads through it, keeping an eye out for fine print.

The general wording of the contract seemed to absolve Sirius Cybernetics of all responsibilty for damages and legal troubles incurred by the undersigned. It seems almost suspiciously free of fine print. Of note is that payment seems to be deliverable upon completion of the task.

Pat nudged her way past Leo's shoulder, skimming over the contract.

Payment?

Oh yeah...

Almost as an afterthought, Pat asked "How much are you willing to pay for our services?"

Smooth, she thought to herself, her mental voice doing a raspberry.

And clearing Sirius of all responsability also meant they had to limit their collateral damage if they decided to run in with the big mechs...

Which really took some of the fun out of the idea, but eh.

"Well," Eliza says, seeming amused it took this long for the subject to come up. "You shall be paid a sum ten thousand gil to split among the whole of the group. We shall also give you a five percent discount with future business transactions, and general top shelf treatment in future employment dealings, if any."

Archie nodded thoughtfully, skimming through the contract himself. It wasn't that he expected to find anything out of place, but it was best to get into the habit of reading contracts.

He noted the indemnity clause without much surprise. Any collateral damage they caused would be coming out of their hides. Not that he'd had any intention of causing collateral damage to begin with.

After reading it through, he signed his name at the bottom.

And thus Pat signed her name. Soon, the proud name 'Patricia Copperhead' was emblazoned upon the contract.

Amelia put her name, making sure that there was nothing about murder or any dubious dealings in the contract, first.

So far as amelia could tell, there seemed to be no agreement to murder on behalf of Sirius Cybernetics.

"I'm in," Ana put in as she looked over the contract. Finding no fine print, she signed it.

Accepting the contract back, Eliza signs it and says "Thank you," then stands. "I'll just run off a brief copy." Towering over the group for a moment, she then strides with grace that seems almost out of place for her size toward a copier.

"Like I said, mon," Brom says, "Ya get back my Kitty, an' ol' Brom'll make it worth ya wa while on top o' what bosslady give ya. But if ya can't get my kitty, I be takin' any copy. ain't gone be da same, but better some dan none."

The Giantess returns with a copy of the contract, bending down a bit to hand it to Archie. "I trust you'll give those rotters a black eye." She says, giving Archie, and the group, a smile.

"We'll do our best," Archie said, nodding seriously. He folded up the contract and placed it carefully in one of his coat pockets. There didn't seem to be much more to say, really.

Ana then turned toward the rest of the group. "You know, here we are, trying to save Sirius Cybernetics together, and we haven't even gotten each other's names. So it would probably be prudent if we introduced ourselves. I am Ana Helve."

"How should we keep in touch with you guys?"

With a smooth motion, the giantess produces a business card from her pockets, bends down, and hands it to Pat. On it is a phone number, an email address, and what seems to be an address in the swanky upscale part of town.

"That should sort contacting me nicely, I'd venture," she says with a smile."

"By all means, be on your way," Eliza says, trying to sound polite whilst shooting the goblin a glare.

"Right, right..."

Pat waits for the elevator to come.

"What, ya not got a head for the numbers, mon?" Brom asks, grinning. "Fine fine, We and I be writin' it down for ya." Pulling out a notepad from inside his coat, he quickly jots down a line of numbers and hands it to Ana.

The paper reads: 010000100111001001101111011011010010011101110011001

"Amelia McDougal" Amelia nodded. Those more in the know on random trivia within the area may recognise "McDougal" as the name of a major waste disposal company (McDougal Waste Disposal! Your business is our business"), though she certainly didn't have the build of someone who hefted trash all day.

Pat, lacking such knowledge of random trivia, simply glanced about and stretched.

"I'm Pat."

Really, she saw no need in using her last name or anything other than her nickname. If they were going to work together, they might as well be all on first-name and nickname basis.

Ana, having an interest in the who's who of the city, did recognize the name "McDougal", but didn't remark. She did, however, enter the elevator and hold the door open.

"I see a slight problem, Rally," she said. "This mission calls for subtlety, and a full mecha is kind of conspicuous. Can you operate a battlesuit?"

Archie absently stepped into the elevator, seemingly lost in thought. A day or two to gather the information they needed, plan, and gather their equipment. They'd need to know lines of approach and guard routines. But anybody guarding the building would take a dim view of people hanging around scoping the place out. So, how to get what they needed without being spotted?
