Ensifer leaned against the doorway. "Given that the strangers were rather... public in their presence, we should be able to track them through the towns they've attacked. Soon as we can get out of here."

(Hey, Bunny doesnt' have to fight, she can just train things to fight for her.

If the RP's plot doesn't start moving soon, Ensifer will.)

Robert saw that they all had acquired all of their weapons, and other such items.

"Okay... Umm... The king had said something like go to an island. I think the dock workers have been clued in."

Robert grabs his bag and heads for the door.

[OOC:Okay, post your way outside, nothing will happen in the hallways, and the guards outside are dead, and bodies gone, so please just post yourself all the way to the front of the castle. It may be multiple posts.]

Is this guy an idiot or is the King's lethargy contagious?

Ensifer smiled and nodded back. He strode through the main hallway, picked up his sack as he passed the youth he left it with, and made his way to the docks.

"well, at least we can get going now, as vague as that was" Bren walked back up the stairs and headed towards the hallway, calling behind him "I'll meet you out front, ok?"

as he made his way along the hallway, he wondered what thier mission here was, and whay he had decided to come along, "well" he said, speaking to himself, "I'm here for the trip I guess, might as well stick it out"

when he reached the front of the castle, he was suprised to find no guards, they were gone withiut a trace, he whistled softly, then placed his hands behind his head and waited for the others to catch up.

"You mean we get to go on a boat." Bunny said with a laugh. She ran after Bren excited about the upcoming trip.

She stopped outside of the palace and noticed that the guards were gone. She rubbed her chin and wondered.

"Thats odd." She said looking around. "It doesn't seem likely that one of the guards would just leave their post."

She walked on slowly, her mind working. She felt a chill as she walked on.

"Then again this is a very odd day."

Ensifer glanced about as he exited the castle, and noted the lack of guards.

He slipped teh pack off his shoulder, exchanged his full legnth cape for the black fencing cape and draped it over his left shoulder. Whenwindle was loosened in it's sheath. Both the pommel and his entire left arm was convienently covered by the short cape. The long dagger somehow appeared, tucked into the right side of his belt.

The entire switch took less than thirty seconds, and he didn't break his stride doing it.

Bren, seeing Bunny and Ensifer heading off moved along with them, keeping pace with his long stride, he noticed Ensifer preparing his weapons,

he seems to be expecting a fight, maybe I should prepare to...

with that he checked to make sure his armor was tightened, and made sure his hammer and spear were ready to be drawn without snagging on the bandoleer, he also slipped one of the throwing daggers under neath his vembraces, between his shirt and the piece of armor, even though I doubt these will be much help if this comes to a fight, the only thing I can hope for is that I don't hurt myself if I try to throw one!

He continued walking after checking all of this, catching up quickly with the rest of the group, not being able to do this all while walking. (oc show off)

"The docks are to the west," he called out as he walked to the west.

Angel spoke up, for the first time in most of the moving around.

"I think it was the wooden thing in the water that tipped him off," Angel said suggesting the dock.

Bren smiles and shakes his head, "I think he said we were going to an island, I've never travelled that far before, just to nabourhing cities, this should be...... interesting"
he stares off in the direction of his home before continuing on west, towards the docks, hoping that he will be able to return home some day.............. in one piece.

Duranja looked towards Bren, he had that look on his face that most hunters get the first time they go large game hunting, like boar, bear, and other lethal game.

Duranja placed his arm around Bren's shoulder, "Don't worry, if you die, we'll send you home in a box," He smiled, it was always something the hunters joked about.

Bunny looked green for a moment.

"Uh, I hope that dosen't happen." She sauid with a smile as she watched Duranja put his arm around Bren. She ran ahead, antious to see the ship that they were going to ride on.

"I'll race you." She said as she ran on.

The group made their way to the docks. The smell of the sea was inviting to the intreped young adventures. After some walking they came upon a great sailing vessel. It was a magnifisent sight. A dockworker stood by the boat with a sign. He had forgotten to write anything on it, but he did have it.

Ensifer eyed the dockworker's blank sign before he proceded onto the boat itself.

"Very skilled labour here." Ensifer commented casually. "Hey Robert," he called, "he's not going to actually be on the ship, is he?"

Robert walked over. "I don't know. Sir," he spoke to the dockworker, "Are you going to be acompaning us on the journy to the island?"

The dokworker looked startled, aprently he had been sleeping while standing and with his eyes open. "Ohh no. This ship isn't going to an... Oh wait your the adventures. Yes this ship is going to the island."

Ensifer boarded the boat without further comment.

Whoa. Been a while since I was off solid ground. Gonna need to practice.

He stowed his pack in his quarters, and returned to deck wearing his hat and holding his rapier. He began running through his drills, striding up and down the deck.

At least now I'm "allowed" to have a weapon... I don't have to worry about going to jail just for practicing.

He took his time, getting a feel for the constant sway of the ship. He'd have plenty of time to practice anyway.

Not knowing where to go, she decided it best to wait for Marisa. Insted she took to looking around the boat.

Bren sood on the deck, trying to get used to the roll of the deck under his feet, he explored the ship, looking into the galleys and his quarters, stowing his jacket and thinking for a few moments, trying to decide wether or not to take his armor off, If i fall off the deck the mail will drag me to the bottom, but if I get a solid hit without it, i could be down for the count...... finally making up his mind, Bren removed his chainmail and pauldrons, leaving his vembraces on. He then began practising his knife throwing, throing them into a spot in the wall, wondering what would happen if one went through......

Robert walked on the ship, he found his quarters, it was easy becuase there was a name tag above the door with his name.

Ensifer landed on the deck next to Bunny, Bren, and Marissa, dropping from some of the ships rigging.

Bunny stood up from leaning on the railing and smiled to herself. She walked down below deck, intending on looking around some more, and as luck would have it, found a room to put her things in.

Once done she returned to the deck. She had decided to hold on to her staff, it felt right to have it in her hands and it made her feel more confident.

"Oh, Miss . . .I mean Marisa." Bunny said with a laugh. "Do you know anything about boats? I've never been on one before. But" she said looking at Ensifer, "you seem to. Have you sailed before sir Knight?"

Bunny had never met a knight before, but in The stories she had herd they were brave and seemingly bold. So far, she thought that Ensifer was most likely a Knight. She also thought Marissa to be a lady, for she carried herself with such confidence that it made Her wonder.

"Do you think we will set sail soon?"

A captain turned on some sort of PA system.

"Hello this is your Captain. Please go settel into your rooms, and we'll set sale at dusk. Please move around town and be back here by that time."

[OOC: This is your time to say by to family, get anything you couldn't in the palace, like FOOD, or anything else. And yes duck tape does exist.]

Bunny smiled and ran back down to her room to get her small pouch of money. There wasn't much, but she thought she should get some suplies.

She ran back on deck and walked back up to the group.

"Dose anyone want to go for a walk around town? I need some things, but I don't know where anything is."

Bren followed after ensifer, trying to think of anything he might need, he had a small amount of money on him, and he had already thought of a few uses for it.....

hmmm, a canteen, a flask or two of rum, some bread, some dried meats, maybe a bedroll, and some rope, now what else........

(oc, hmm since agels a thief, he could probly just steal his food, lucky guy, I gotta rp lawfully.....)

Ensifer took out a medium sized purse that bulged. It probably contained more money than anyone could need in a given shopping trip, and that was if the coins were small.

He opened the purse, and checked the contents. Few of the coins were small. "I've got enough... anyone else needs some extra change I'll lend you some." He glanced up at the other party members. "Don't worry, I got more back in my pack on the ship." Ensifer put the coinage away, retied the bag, and put it back in his inner breast pocket..

He turned to Robert. "So, tell us about where we're going on this boat of yours."
