Firstly, before porting an RP system/setting onto a new board, you should explain what it's all about. Most people can't be bothered to follow links and trawl through weeks of posting to get the info they need. Summarise.
Secondly, introduce new ideas to the board in the OOC section, where you'll also be able to recruit people, set down the rules before the RP starts, and answer any questions.
Thirdly, continuing RPs from other boards is a bad, bad idea, since it means people have to read up on the previous events, assuming they are interested in the first place. Start a new story, even if it does have the same setting/system. If it conflicts with a previous RP, set it in an AU (Alternate Universe).
Finally, from the little I read, the idea seems like it might be attractive to some people. However, if you choose to start an RP like this again,
please try and follow my second point, rather than slapping a poorly explained post straight in the RP forum and hoping people join.
Edit: I'm not going to close this thread, since I believe that there's some discussion that could take place about this. Still, I'm not going to argue with the admins if they decide to axe this thread.
