Masha was holding a gun now, though Mikolas wasn't quite sure where she'd produced it from, and gave him a curt nod as she followed his lead. The giant headed straight for his bed, or rather what was lying next to his bed. His signiture helmet, razorwire and all, was strapped to his head a moment later and his kitbag slung over one shoulder, the immense strength of the man allowing him to perform this feat easily.
Cryvus paused in the hallway to bark at a servant who was running towards them. The man had evidently heard the commotion and come to investigate. He was quickly separated from his glow-lamp, a finely made thing to be sure but, thankfully, just as capable of providing illumination. Crisis was with him a moment later, now gripping a hastily retrieved rifle.
Gunner stepped into the corridor, pistol at the ready, and received a glow-pack from the servant Cryvus had shouted at a moment before. "What's going on, sir?" he asked, maintaining a respectful tone despite the situation. The glow-pack was far less ornate than the lamp his fellow acolyte had obtained and projected a focused beam of light rather than the omnidirectional illumination of the latter.
(He is a map of House Strophes. You're on the West Wing of the 2nd floor and there are three ways down to the 1st floor, each marked with a red X. Your hosts live in the West Wing of the 1st floor, directly below you. There is a means of accessing the 3rd floor from the 1st which is marked with an orange X; this small room is inaccessible from your floor. According to Cryvus the enemy is coming in from the main entrance of the main level.
You've split into three teams which, conveniently, allows you to each pick a descent. I'm guessing that Cryvus and Crisis will be taking the #1 stairs in an effort to get to their hosts ASAP. Please specify which stairs you intend to use.
You're also currently right next to your sleeping chambers and, as such, all your kit. Retrieving a weapon or bit of kit will only delay you slightly. Strapping on armour will take more time depending on complexity; throwing a flak vest on over your kit won't take long. Gearing up in full guard flak will. Say what you're retrieving before you head out. The more stuff you grab the later you'll get to your stairwell.)
