(Oh your right. I just reread some old posts. There are some things to do in the town. And some things for Ryo to do to that will give him some time to respond. I don't want to cut him out or anything. But I don't want the rp to die either. So what else can I do. . .well this MINI GAMES! Yep Mini games. Ever rpg has um. ..so why not rps.)

Deacon walked into the computer room and sighed as he stared up at the computer. He had wanted some sort of progres, but nothing had been made evident from the new disk.

He walked over to Ryo, who had been sleeping against the wall.

"Hay, wake up." He said nudging him with his foot. "Got a job for you. Wake up."

(Sorry Comp problems, and I was on Spring Break. I'm up and running now so..)

Rydar turned over and stood up. Slightly groggy he looked around the room and looked for his shirt. Tossed it on and grabbed his shoes, ramming his feet into them, and a squish sound emerged. "What the... HEY!"

He looked down to see his boots filled with a large amount of water and his feet soaking in it. "Dammit, GEAN!"

He knew it had to be her, all the other guys were too somber to pull something like this. 'I'll get her back I swear it.'

He opened his window and dumped the water out, then changed his socks, throwing the old ones out. He trounced on down the stairs and got a pitcher of water from the bar. He walked up behind Gean and poured the whole thing on her head. "Morning sunshine."

Shek found Gean and Rydar's exchange to be incredibly funny, and he decided to voice his opinion with a laugh. "That'll show you, eh Gean?" He grinned to himself.

That was mighty funny.
~Yup.~

Gean jumped as the cold water hit her.

"Ieeee!" She said spinning around. She frowned and then laughed.

"he he. Hay I can take a joke just as good as I can give um. But you know I couldn't resist it. I mean you were out like a light."

She rung her short hair out. But did not take off her soaking jacket. She sat down.

"So now that we are all up. Whats say we find a new job? say Tony hear anything new?"

Tony looked up and nodded, but then frowned.

"Yeah, over in Tango theres a casino inn thats looking for some workers. But you are to young for that place Gean."

Gean frowned.

"What are you my dad all of a sudden. Look We need to get some cash. Besides I am dead set on stoping thoes creeps from destroing another town."

She shurged.

"I still don't quite remmber everything, but I think that its important to get Kalin to any of thoes new targets. You know since he has a new frind to help out." She said with a smile. "So what do you say Kailn? Rydar, Shek? We make a prety good team. . ." she said smiling and puthing her hands together.

(sorry for the bad spelling. . .I have a cold am to lazy to spell check today.)

Shek didn't recall how far out Tango was, but he didn't think he'd mind doing 'casino work.' He was big enough for a guard job, if he they were that needy.

"Hey Tony? What kind of ~Casino Work~?" He piped up, "I'm game for anything right now."

(bad guy part)

Deacon smiled.

"There's a little place in town," he said siting down infront of the computer. "Its called The Pralwer. Its owner is said to have some old artifacts. I want you to go there to. . .talk to him." He said with a smile.

"He doesn't care for strangers.. . and the only way to get to meat him is one of two ways."

He cleared his thought.

"Since Delia is doing her job I cant send her. You see the owner has a soft spot for women. However he also loves games. . .and will take on any challenger."

Deacon smiled.

"So you can dress up as a woman. . .or accept the fighters challenge." Deacon smiled. "Either way you'll need to do one or the other."

(Back in the Inn)

Tony frowned.

"Well, the jobs at a casino. The owner wants a body guard, he also said he needed a personal guard. But. . ." Tony said with a frown. "I would be careful if I were you. He's a shred guy."

Gean jumped to her feet.

"Ok, so lets get there. HOw close is it."

Tony sighed.

"About a day away."

Ryo nearly fell flat on his face when he said the first choice, out of the sheer obscurity of it. He quickly regained his composure and coughed.

"Erm... I think I would be better off challenging him... So can you lead me there or just give me directions? I really don't care what the challenge is. I'm up for anything right now.."

"Well he lieks three things. Women wine and Cards." Deacon stood up and sighed. "Problem is he is good, hes realy good. He plays death cards. Lose and you lose more than your cash. YOu prety much lose your freedom. But if you use these."

Deacon hands Ryo some cards and smiles.

"YOu wont lose."

Ryo looked at the cards and pocketed them slowly. He smiled somewhat, knowing he did something to the cards.

"I am fairly good at cards.... Not the best, but good. I should do fine but I will try and use these....."

He looked to Deacon once more. "So where is the place?"

"Haha, I guess you can take a joke Gean, I guess you can." He smiled at himself and at her, who was soaked from head to toe. "I'll go get you a change of clothes Gean." He went up the stairs to get her a jacket and some better pants.

"Well here they are they aren't much but they should fit ok." He heard Tony talking about the Casino job and looked at him. "I don't know Gean, I want to go after Ryo, the strange guy and Delia. I want my revenge."

He didn't really want to go to the casino. Ever since the betrayal of Ryo, Rydar suddenly didn't feel as friendly. He didn't know if he could trust these people, he may not have liked Ryo but he had trusted him. Ryo ruined that trust, now Rydar didn't know who to trust anymore. But he knew, whether trusting or not, he didn't want to waste precious time on going to a casino.

Gean smiled and slung the new jacket over her shoulder.

"Thanks," she said but did not put it on.

"Well," Gean said resting her head on her hands. "Revenge doesn't come cheep. And who knows, Tango might just be the next target. Either way we should check it out."

Gean stood up and rubbed her head.

"He he, besides a nice walk across the desert would be just the thing to dry me up. .he he."

She turned and headed towards the door, Rydars jacket over her shoulder. She stopped and waved at Tony.

"See ya around." She said and left.

Tony landed in a chair with a flop, nearly breaking it.

"I swear. ..that girl." He said with a sigh. "No talkin to young kids no more. But she's right. Tango is the closest city. Just try not to get killed you three. That girl is crazy. Must have to do with her eyes."

Tony said and stood up and went into the back.

Outside Gean ducked into an alley. She took off her wet jacket and took a quick glace around. Once again her eyes fell on the many scars on her arms. She pulled Rydars coat on quickly.

It was larger than her other, and she had to roll the sleeves up.

(how was spring break? did you have fun? He he. )

(Lets just say I saw my exgirlfriend.... a lot. We're going out again.)

Rydar thought about what Gean said, that town could be the next target. He may want revenge, but thinking about it, he didn't want what happened to him happening to someone else. "Ok I'll go."

He walked out the door, and watched Gean change into his jacket in the alley, she had to roll the sleeves up, Rydar laughed slightly at it. 'ha, wow she is cute sometimes.'

Rydar yelled out to Gean "Come on, lets get going, we need to get headed out now if we're going to get there before nightfall."

Shek nodded and got up. "Just let me go get my gear and I'll be ready." He finished eating, and headed back to his room to get his things in gear.

Upon readying himself, Shek stifled a loud yawn. Another long day of walking, he hoped that it wouldn't end in the sky falling once more. That would make him terribly, terribly cross.

They all pointed to a large room filled with card players.

Death Games and the Women who love them.

The women fell silent.

"Oh. . ." said one girl.

"My," the others said scatering. One girl stayed behind. She wore a red top hat and long kaki colored pants. She looked very much like a ring master.

"So you want to play cards." She said taking off her hat and bowing her head.

"You know our founder is quite found of cards. Death cards are his specialty. But hes not here at the moment. He is currently out looking for some new faces to hire. If you want you may stay and gamble."

She dumped a hand full of gella in Ryo's hand and smiled.

"We treat all Death game members well here. ..mainly because if they lose we get the funds back anyway."

She turned and walked on.

Kalin stood up from the table, picked up his bag and weapons, and walked sedately out the door.

He was willing to believe that Ryo had gone to Tango. He planned on killing Ryo. The decision wasn't that hard to make. If surviving at Tango meant getting a job at a casino then fine, he would do that too.

Shek silently followed the group in leaving. He was still tired, last nights events. To him, regardless of his hard working past, a guy deserved a day off after having the sky fall on him twice in a week.

As they were walking, he checked, and rechecked his ARM, making sure it was all in working condition.

Shek yawned, and just hoped the day wasn't going to be a bad one.

(just waiting till the group is together before we head out to tango.)

The casino was flashy, and every where Ryo turned he could hear either the sounds of losers, or winners. There were slot machines, card tables, and even a small room where people were gambling on how long they could stare at each other.

But above the noise of the casino, one voice stood out.

"My, looks like I won again."

Delia was siting and playing a card game surrounded by men older gentleman, who did not seem to care that she was using their money to gamble.

The hot sun rose above them as the travelers began their journey.

The City of Tango, a long but easy journey. The heat of the day had scared many of the beasts away into their dens, for they knew better than to travel during the high heat of the day.

They had been traveling for hours, and soon could see Tango in the distance. It was odd. For even in the bright unrelenting sun, the city glowed with life and excitement.

(I thought I'd go ahead and zip us there. I didn't think you guys would mind.)

"Tango!"

Kalin breasted the last dune before the entrance of the city. The desert journey had taken it's toll, and he was tired. Very tired. He paused at the top of the dune and simply stared at the massive town. Long enough for Rydar to run slap-bang into his back. He stumbled and rolled down the sandhill.

"Water..... need sleeeeeepppp....."

He fell asleep, not 3 feet from the entrance to the vibrant town.

Rydar looked around the town, he'd never been there before. Everything was as foreign to him as it could be.

He watched the people milling about and the beautiful city "Wow." He would stay focused though, despite being with his friends he didn't feel safe in such a large town. "So, which way Gean?"

Gean walked over to Kalin and helped him up.

"Huh? Why are you asking me? I've never been here before." She said as she tugged on Kalin arm. "Heck, I was following you guys."

"Well. . .uh lets ask someone ." Gean let go of Kalin and walked up to a tall man dressed in a nice suit.

"Excuse me sir?" Gean said walking up to him. The man turned and glared at her.

"Echk," he said pushing past her. "Look, not that your not pretty, its just I don't like young girls."

Geans face turned very red as she balled her fists up. The man walked past her with his nose in the air.

"HAY YOU DISGUSTING CREEP!" Gean shouted as she ran at the guy with her fist ready to punch him.

The girl in the top hat walked up to Ryo and peeked over his shoulder.

"Wow, you are good at this." She said. "A real pro. How would you like to watch a Death card game." She said with a grin.

She put her hands on her hips.

"I am sorry that Mr. Twek isn't here." She said with a sigh. "But he should be back soon. He is meeting up with some new help. You know how it goese. But I'm sure you'll enjoy this game."

Ryo soon found out what she meant. She led him down a long winding staircase and threw a set of doors. Once inside she directed him to som chairs where spectators sat.

Infront of him a large arena like setting. The ground was covered in blood and water, an odd combination. Two men were siting at either end.

"Ladies and gentleman." Boomed the Top hat woman's voice. "Welcome to the Death card games. The two competitors shall draw their first card now.

One man was dressed in red. He drew a card and smiled at the man in blue that was at the other end of the field. He lifted it above his head and shouted.

"Dagger and blade."

The man on the other end looked nervous as three large men surrounded him. IN their hands hey held daggers, and they were all pointed at the man.

The man in blue shouted.

"ARM and Load."

Two men came from behind the man in red and stood by him.

As Ryo watched, the man in blue was stabbed by the men caring the daggers. He fell to the ground, dead.

"We have a winner. Blue player George has won. Now lets see how he fairs against pink player Wanda."

(Death Card info)

Every games got to have a battle arena. This is sorta like that. The stronger suite wins. The lower suit suffers.
