Gean groaned in her sleep and rolled over opening her eyes. She sat up and rubbed them.

"Thats funny, I don't remmbered getin a room." She said yawning. She looked over to see Sheck siting.

"Hay," she said with a smile and got out of the bed. "You come to wake me up?"

"So whats been goin on, did Delila pay us yet?"

Shek blinked himself awake, unaware that he had dozed off in the moments upon sitting down in the chair.

"What? Oh, no, she didn't. Ryo and her screwed us over, big time." He scowled, "The bastard..."

Now now, don't be so touchy, a lady is present, and its rude to use that kind of coarse language.
~Stow it.~

"Well, you were out cold..." He said, "So I took the liberty of getting the four of us a room. I guess the other two aren't back yet..." He let out a loud yawn, and closed his eyes again, "If you don't mind though, I'd like to nod off again for awhile.."

"Sure," Gean said with a yawn. "Uh. ..sure thing Shek." Gean said and laid back down. She rolled over on her side and wondered.

~He must still be sick.~ She thought with a smile.

"Night Shek," Gean said with a laugh. "Hope you feel better soon."

Tonys actions

Tony crossed his arms as he stared up at the room. He frowned and walked up the stairs. He opened the door and grabbed Shek by the collar and dragged him out.

"Look, you and the others can share a room. But you aren't gona share a room with Gean while your in my inn. She's a kid after all."

Tony said letting go of Shek.

"Sorry bud, but you and the others can have that room." He pointed to the room next to the one Gean was in.

(Sorry but that's what Tony would do.)

Kalin nodded at Rydar: the two of them were still at a table downstairs.

"We better go save Shek from Tony, he looked pretty mad about something. Then I'm going to bed. Doing whatever it is that I did sucks all the energy out of me."

Shek was too tired to argue with Tony, he just hoped he wasn't going to take it out of his pocket. Shek was going to pay good money for that room.

Upon entering the new room, Shek collapsed onto a bed and started snoring.

Ryo grimaced as he followed them still. He was beggining to wonder if they were ever going to get where they were going.

"Just where are we going? We have been wandering for a while now.."

Deacon stopped and turned to them.

"The next town," he said sternly. "We have a place there, with a computer, a small, but powerful one. There we'll find out just what's on this little disk, and see where we need to go next."

He started walking.

"Not far now," he said. "You probably have heard of <span style="color:red;">Tango</span> The city that never sleeps till hell freezes over. My kinda place. Now lets get going."

Back in Crestwood

Gean rolled over in Her sleep again. Her mind racing with dreams.

She was standing in The desert, and all around Her was nothing. She slowly started to walk, but found that she could not move. Above Her, a pair of blood red eyes formed in The sky, and a large black hand reached down and grabbed Her.

Gean let out a scream and bolted awake, Her face covered with sweat.

Ryo had been there only once before, he found the place a bit odd. But he had to admit it was a good place to hide. He just hoped that Gean wouldn't head there.

Shek was also dreaming.

Shek was dreaming of a large, large castle in the sky. This castle had many staircases in it, and he was currently sliding down the infinate wooden banister of the Kings.

Shek often had this dream in times of stress. As a child, he was very fond of sliding down banisters on long spiral staircases.

The voice in the back of Shek's head took physical form in Shek's dreams sometimes. He looked much like Shek might look in thirty years. Shek called him "OldShek." Currently, Old Shek was watching Shek slide down the stairs.

"That kid... he's going to get us killed someday if he's not more careful."

Of course, Old Shek was just blowing off steam.

Gean huged her knees and stared at the wall. Slowly, everything was coming back.

Ryo had betrayed them.

She laid back down and sighed, feeling a bit silly for being scared by a dream.

Tango City (While the Heros Sleep and Bad guys walk)

The city was alive still, even after the night had come, though the lights did not show that it was night. The city's haze had not parted. Gamblers and girls walked the streets, each looking for money, or prehaps some fun.

Tango City, a place where sinners rest, and devils dance.

Shek jumped out of his bed, "Great..." He mumbled, and ran towards Gean's room. He pounded on her door and ask with concern, "Gean? Are you alright?"

Kalin heard the scream from his adjacent room. He snapped instantly out of his dreamless sleep, and entered Geans room mere seconds behind Shek.

"Ah... just a dream." He yawned. "A nightmare, you mean?"

He grinned at her. "What happened? In your dream, I mean."

Ryo chuckled at the activities here. He remebered it being active at night, but usually at least a few decent people were out. Now it seemed like nothing but hookers and Gamblers.

"So where to now? There is a decent amount of places I can think of that this base of yours could be..."

He looked to Deacon awaiting his answer.

Gean looked down at her feet.

"Its. . .kinda hard to explain." She said with a laugh. "I feel sorta silly. Ya know, getting all worked up over this." Gean said forcing a smile.

"I was walking out in the desert," gean said holding her smile. "There were these huge red eyes staring down from the sky, and then this black clawed hand grabbed me and pulled me down into the ground."

"And then, I woke up. And remembered, about what Ryo did." She closed her eyes tight and clenched her fists. "I. . .trusted him. . .and he. . .tried to kill. . .everyone." She said her hands shaking.

She jumped out of bed and put her hands on her hips.

"I'm not letting any of them get away with this. We can't let them do it to another town."

Shek nodded to Gean, but began to head out of the room. "We'll go after them in the morning... alright?" He headed back to his room and closed the door.

Inside, he threw himself onto the bed and closed his eyes. His brain was now filled with annoying thoughts of Ryo, Delila, and a staircase with know banister.

When he finally fell asleep, he dreamed of a cornfield. It was much like the one he used to work in when he lived on the farm, but the corn was blue.

"No, not really. I do not dream at all, so I believe that any dream at all would freak me out, as you put it. But in any case, I believe that we should definitely get some rest, as we have a long journey in the morning. Again, over that silly sand again," He continued muttering as he returned to their room, "Silly people, living on this constantly shifting mess. Goodness, I cannot understand how they put up with it..."

The next day

Gean walked slowly down the stairs, frowning. She had lost her ARM and her short blade. She was depressed from the loss.

Tony greeted her with a smile and to her surprise.

"MY ARMS!" she said looking at the gun on the table. "HOw. . .wha. ?"

"Well," he said with a smile. "Someone found um, and you know the rule around here. All lost ARMS have to go to the sherif."

Gean slung her ARM around her waist and smiled.

"So Tony," she said with a smile. "Got any info? You know on any jobs. If we are going to go after that scum who tried to attack the town, we are going to need some Gella."

Tony smiled and nodded.

"Yeah, but Lets wait till your friends wake up."

Wake up Shek.. It's morning...
~Go away. I'm sleeping.~
Rise and shine, the early bird catches the worm.
~Only because the worm was stupid enough to get up earlier than the bird... urgh.~

Shek's eyes opened, only because they had too. His thoughts wouldn't let him sleep. He wasn't thinking of anything in particular, but the thoughts that he did have... were very, very noisy.

Shek got out of bed with a loud yawn, and got himself presentable for the outside world. Leaving his gear in the room, where it would be safe, he headed out to the common area and took a seat at an empty table.

His stomach grumbled, he was hungry, but not hungry enough to eat anything. As he sat down, he gave his companions a curt nod, and an incredibly loud yawn.

Kalin was a morning person, and was already sitting at a table with food when Gean and Shek arrived.

"Good morning friends! This worthy bartender has happily supplied us with morning grub, grub which I humbly excepted without you, deciding that waiting would not be ummmm.... feasible. Yeah. "

He grinned cheerfully at the others. He was sitting with his feet up on the table, sharpening his sabre. A full pack lay by his chair, and the table was laden with a large breakfast.

Gean smiled at Kalin.

"Well your in a good mood. I suppose we three are the early birds of the group." She said standing. A mischievous grin formed on her face.

"How about we go wake Rydar up. . ." she said grabbing the pitcher of water and laughing. "He he he. I just know hes gona get me back for this one."

She walked up the stairs and glanced behind her.

"Well who's up for a joke?"

Deacon smiled as he stared down at the city of Tango.

"Well now, here we are." He said looking over his shoulder. "Now time for bussnies. Delila, you go do your usual thing. See what you can find out. Black," he said turning to black. "Secure a position at the highes point of the city."

He turned to Ryo.

"Your coming with me. We are going to find out just what is on the disk. Besides I'm sure you'd like to see whats on the others as well."

Ryo slowly nodded and looked around at the town.

"Wait... Other disks? You mean there were other ones?"

Deacon smiled as they walked.

"Yes, two before this one. We found them in ruins similar to the ones you and your. . .other friends went into." He said smiling as he walked up a a small shack.

He led Ryo inside and down a long stair way.

"Here we are." Deacon said opening the door and stepping in.

(what you will see)

A large computer, but much smaller than the one at the Temple. It is fully functional.

Deacon inserts the disk and the computer comes to life.

On the scream a man appears. He is dressed in a lab coat and has dark red hair.

"Data log number three," he says as he pushes his glasses uo his nose. "The experiment has been a success. The mediums powers are fueling it. We have come to discover that the mediums are connected directly to Filgaia. Surprisingly enough our research project has shown great promise."

The man laughs.

"Locals seem to think that we will resurrect some type of demon.. But as study has shown, all folklore about demons have been false."

The screen flashes and another scientist is shown. He is older and looks stern.

"The project has problems. I am going on record to say that I disagreed with it from the start. However my colleagues have insisted. Marina. . ." he closes his eyes and then opens them. "Has agreed. I only hope she knows what she is doing."

The screen goes blank.

Deacon frowns.

"This doesn't show me anything new. Its about that project again." He removes the disk and tosses it on the panel. "But I've seen the scientists before." He stands and takes out two other disks. A green one and a blue one. He hands them to Ryo.

"GO ahead and take a look. I'm going to go get some sleep."

Deacon left grumbling about wasted time.

"Ah... This is so exciting!"

The screen changed and a young woman appears. She has long brown hair and green eyes.

"Marina date log. . ." She laughs and then brushes some bangs from her face. "I'm not good with these things." She says blushing. "The project is in its early development. I can hardly wait to see the final results."

She smiles again.

"I was willing, and now my sacrifice shall usher in a new wave of research. Perhaps one-day it will even help to redecorate Filgaia to a fully liveable planet."

She sighes.

"Soon the data uplink research will begin. Its been a long hard road. But soon. ..soon the planet might be saved. And I am sure that what we have done will not be in vain. But I have my concerns. The mediums are acting strangely."

The screen goes blank.

He took out the Blue disc and then inserted the green one to view its contents as well.

Disk 10

Ryo sees the young scientist again. This time glaring out at him. Suddenly the man reaches back and hits something. Then Ryo sees his feet.

He sees another set of feet running next to the man. Marinas face is then shown.

"what are you doing Kran," she says angrily. "You'll destroy it."

"Its acting up again." He snaps. "It won't record the data I put in. I am telling you the project needs to be redone."

Maria shakes her head and she stared into the screen.

"Do not hit it again." She says sternly her eyes filled with tears. "I told you, I was working on it. huh." She sighs and closes her eyes.

"End recording data."

The screen goes blank.

The screen shifts to something else. Ryo sees that the camera. . or what ever is now staring at the old man. He is staring at it with a strange look.

"So, data long. . ." he says shaking his head. "I can't log data like this." He said frowning. "Ahem, data log entry. Basic functions are now being researched. As it stands the only thing the project is abel to do is store data. We are working now to further the project and create movement. It is Marinas hope that we do this quickly. So far. ..data logging. .has shown." He stops talking and the screen goes blank.

Ryo grimaced at the screen. He let out a sigh and then shook his head.

"Well that was confusing.... It seems the Guardians were the key to reviving Filgaia from the looks of it........ Yet why was that one in the ruins...."

He sighed once more and stared at the computer screen.

"Perhaps I should get some rest as well........"

Ryo looked around slowly realizing he forgot to ask where they were staying. He smacked his forehead at this fact. Then he simply walked over to the side of the wall and sat down on the floor. He propped his Arm against the wall and leaned back on it, slowly closing his eyes...

Shek watched as Gean stalked off to play a joke on someone. He would have gone, he really enjoyed jokes. But he was hungry now, "Hey Tony, can I get some food?" He called out with a yawn.

He rested his hand against his arm. They really had to get going if they were going to find out what the hell Ryo was up too, and what was taking Rydar so long...?

Gean walked threw the door slowly. Rydar was sound a sleep.

She walked over to his shoes and poored the watter in. Tring not to laugh she left quickly and went back down stairs to See Tony talking to Sheck.

"I'll get you some steak and eggs." Tony said and walked off.

Gean sat down and looked at Kalin and Shek.

"So. .what happened last night. I can remmber what Ryo did. .but thats prety much it."

Shek nodded his gratitude towards Tony, and turned his attention to Gean, "As far as I could tell... another star was about to crash into the town. But Kalin somehow summoned... this... thing that stopped the star from crashing. It was, well, wow is all that I can say about it. You know?"

Kalin removed his feet from the table and set his sabre down.

"Yeah. It was the thing we defeated in the ruins remember? And Gean, you awoke it in me. I cannot believe you can't remember."

((Incidentally. I was wondering what the FP I need to use my Arcana is. I know for Summoning you need full FP, which I also don't know what it is for me. Just some info on that would be nice.))

(Yes Full fp but there is another littel price. You lose 40 hp if you use it out of its element. I put this twist in to keep it intersting. SO far Kalin is the only one with a medium. But every one will get one.)

"Uh," Gean said looking puzzeled. "Me? Are you feeling ok? I mean I don't think I could have done anything like that. But. .hay who knows I can't remmber it anyway." She said with a laugh.

She stared at Kalin and could tell he was serious.

"Wow. . . " she said looking down at her food. "I don't know. .I mean I didn't know I could do that." She looked up and then smiled.

"Well lets eat."

(I gave it time. But I don't want this rp to die so we are going to have to go forward. If Sobe comes back then he can jump back in. But its been a while and its not fair to the rest of you.
