The lights flicker on again for a moment, before dying once again. Another horrid howl works it's way through the complex.

"Me? I'm- oh for crying out loud!"

The mist girl glowers before turning around to face the source of the sound.

"PUT A SOCK IN IT!" she shouts towards the wail. "SOME OF US ARE TRYING TO HAVE CONVERSATIONS HERE!"

"YEAH!" Drow added, THEN opted for a direct approach as the lights died, looming out of the darkness in front of the gaseous girl, his silver eyes reflecting what little light was left in the corridor. He poked a finger into her vapors and bluntly demanded, "What do you know about Riot?"

She jerks back, startled, only for her, the process involves her losing her form for a brief moment to explode into a cloud of dust. But don't worry, she comes back just a second later.

"Whoa-ho-ho!" she says as she solidifies. "Sorry buddy, but the only riot I know about is that racket that Miss Pain in the Neck is making! Anyway, you shouldn't sneak up on people like that. S'rude, you know."

Seeing where he has ended up, Jeremy frowns and glances back from the way he came. However, the howl that comes soon after makes him decide that perhaps going further down is not such a bad idea. He goes to the railing and peers down at the bottom of the stairwell in hopes of getting some idea of what waits down below.

Lucja's a bit startled herself at Drow's sudden appearance, though the situation hasn't helped her jumpiness any to begin with. She settles after a moment, rolling her eyes at Drow, before looking back to the mist girl. "Um...what was your name, though?"

"Neon," she says confidently, ignoring the jump that Drow gave her. "Blu-no, Violet Neon! But, what about you guys? What're your names?"

Spotting nothing that seems to imply an imminent threat, and still feeling highly anxious about whatever spirit is haunting the hallway, Jeremy begins to descend down the stairwell. Surely there would be some member of staff down below.

"Drow." His handle came out in a weird blend of pride and resignation, one sentiment his symbiote's and one his own. "So you at least know who's screwing with the lights?"
